This is a small guesthouse with pleasant airy rooms, located on a leafy lane. The host Janith is welcoming, efficient and puts you right at ease. And the dinners and breakfasts are terrific. Thanks for a very enjoyable stay.

Little Paradise was an oasis in the busyness of the city. We also cannot praise Janith enough for his friendliness, care and attention. He organised 2 wonderful sightseeing trips for us and made our stay a highlight of our holiday in Sri Lanka .

The balcony was great for an afternoon rest. The restaurant on site also does good breakfasts and dinners if you’re not keen to trek out. Friendly staff who were always willing to share advice and information.

Really nice place and it has a great restaurant. Allot of people just visit for the food alone.

One word, outstanding. If you are planning to stay in Anuradhapura then you must stay here. Room was beautiful, spotless clean, good mosquito net and plug in repellent. Breakfast and dinner both brilliant. Location was amazing. But the service was unlike anything I have experienced anywhere before. The people are extremely welcoming, helpful and hospitable. Thankyou Batti, Hiroshima, Humana and Aruni Mayanthi, and in particular Janith. Janith has a skill that is so rare to come by in hospitality, very kind, knowledgable, entertaining and interpersonal with each of the guests. This place is truly a little paradise in the bustling town of Anuradhapura. The surrounding area is quiet with a little park and the balconies overlooking the garden are a great place to relax after a day exploring. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with generous portions for a reasonable price. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely book another stay here!

The staff were amazing and so helpful with everything.

The property is in a peaceful area but not far from shops and restaurants. We actually ate at the restaurant of the property and the food was excellent and reasonable. The rooms are tastefully decorated, are comfy and functional and really good value for money. I wish I could have stayed longer. The staff are also very helpful, friendly and made us feel at home

The hotel is in a very calm area, dinner and breakfast are good and they staff is very keen in offering help and advices to visit the city.

Struttura immersa nella tranquillità a due passi dalla via principale, stanza accogliente e con tutto il necessario. Molto gradevole lo spazio esterno per rilassarsi e chiacchierare con l’host che ci ha dato degli ottimi consigli per visitare i dintorni.

Janith is a amazing, hardworking guy, funny, helpful and kind, and he even speaks a little Dutch. The location is great, in a quiet corner of the centre, a pretty room in a very nicely decorated building, with a lovely garden. Hot water, working AC and amazing dinners and breakfast. The bike I rented was good enough for a day of exploring old Anuradhapura.

Only a suggestion: an electric kettle in the room would have been nice.

We had a nice stay at this guesthouse. The calm atmosphere and good service provided by the friendly staff definitely make this accomodation worth staying at when you are in Anuradhapura. Would recommend.

J’ai adoré l’emplacement très calme et l’environnement luxuriant. Le personnel est vraiment très gentil et intelligent. Il faut essayer leur restaurant — fameux dans tout Anuradhapura visiblement. On se sent chez soi mais un chez soi confortable.

Was für eine tolle Oase! Ich kann die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen. Ich habe mich dort so wohl gefühlt und wurde bestens betreut. Das Essen dort ist auch sensationell! Es ist wirklich ein kleines Paradies.

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis et nous avons tellement aimé notre séjour que nous sommes restés plus longtemps que prévu. Les repas (petit-déjeuner, déjeuner er diner) pris sur la terrasse de laquelle on voit écureuils et singes étaient délicieux. Tout était parfait. Calme, reposant et tres bien situé pour visiter la ville.

We had a wonderfull time here, all thanks to Janith. He is a funny, polite and a great person. The local food was good and the rooms were clean. Janith even helped us with cleaning our TukTuk ✌🏼

Notre hôte a été très gentil, très serviable, toujours le sourire. Les chambres étaient spacieuses , propres et jolies. Nous etions dans un écrin de verdure au milieu de la ville.

Aruni è stato super cordiale e disponibile. Siamo arrivate più tardi del check in, ma avvisando per tempo abbiamo potuto anche cenare. Ci ha aiutato anche nel trovare un tuk tuk per girare Anuradhapura. Infine, consiglio anche per il ristorante che è veramente buono.

Emplacement parfait, au calme dans un petit lotissement très agréable ! Les chambres sont superbes et les repas sont absolument délicieux. Et quel bonheur de se réveiller devant un arbre rempli d’écureuils ! Mais plus que tout je voudrais remercier Janith qui a su répondre à toutes nos demandes et qui a su nous a aider organiser nos journées à la perfection ! On a beaucoup ri et c’est le plus important ! Merci encore pour ce fabuleux séjour à Anuradhapura, sublimer par la bonne humeur de Janith.

La zona dove sorge little paradise è tranquilla. Un quartiere residenziale e davanti all’ingresso un grande prato dove il pomeriggio giocano a cricket. Staff gentilissimo, disponibile e sorridente. La doccia eccezionale. La stanza aveva un balconcino molto carino e tranquillo. Non abbiamo cenato perché siamo andati ai festeggiamenti a Mihintale (che esperienza!) su suggerimento del ragazzo della guesthouse. Colazione buona e ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

wifi piano di sopra lasciava a desiderare. Il materasso del letto a castello un po’ troppo duro. l’aria condizionata un po’ vecchia, ma comunque funzionante.

Good location at the city center,but in a park area so very very quiet at night. Nice views of the lush garden and trees. Staff were so helpful and nice to our daughter. Dinner was really yummy!

Water at the shower wouldn't be warm at all but since it was hot at the time of our stay it didn't matter at all!

De gastheer verzorgde een diner voor 7 personen binnen een mum van tijd. De kamer was ruim maar de douche was koud.

Het was niet heel erg schoon , misschien omdat het laagseizoen was. Wij waren de enige gasten.

Cette guest house, nichée dans une impasse est un havre de paix ! Elle est d'une propreté impeccable, la chambre était parfaite avec beaucoup de charme et nos 2 hôtes du moment étaient à nos petits soins. On a passé un très bon séjour au Little Paradise. Merci !

Le cadre au vert, au calme. Chambre tres confortable qui donne sur un espace vert, nous avons pu y voir des oiseaux et des singes. Le personnel est accueillant.

Le petit-dejeuner est bon mais c’etait exactement le meme plat qu’au dîner le soir.

This is a little gem of a place, a few rooms facing a garden in a very quiet residential area. The rooms are lovely, the bed very comfortable. The staff are helpful and charming, serving breakfast and dinner on request, and arranging transport when needed. A lovely stay!

What a lovely setting and a really comfortable place to stay. We were so well looked after by Janith and the other staff. What lovely people, so kind and thoughtful. We absolutely loved our stay here and highly recommend Little Paradise.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Janieth was so kind to us with his hospitality and kindness and sense of humor .He told us places to go .and made sure we had everything we needed . A great place to stay so peaceful..and a lovely setting Great coffee and a wonderful Breakfast . We have been in Sri Lanka nearly 3 weeks .This place would be my favorite. Het is een ruime kamer. Het eten is oké, niet heel bijzonder. Als je hulp nodig hebt, dan staan de medewerkers voor je klaar.

We zijn twee reizende vrouwen en verbleven hier drie nachten. We voelden ons hier ongemakkelijk door het gedrag van een mannelijke medewerker. Voor het ontbijt betaal je hier zo’n 4 a 5 euro extra. Dit is niet inbegrepen in de prijs, waar dat bij andere verblijven wel zo is. Er zit schimmel in de badkamer.

Délicieux repas, hôtes très agréables et chambre très confortable avec une jolie salle de bain! Tout était très propre! Un des hôtes parlait même un peu français!

Le gérant (ou propriétaire je ne sais pas) était très sympathique et disponible. Il a toujours fait en sorte que l'on se sente bien. Le jardin est très joli, le balcon sur les chambres est agréable.

La chambre était propre mais mériterait un petit coup de frais, moderniser un peu. Il serait appréciable d'avoir des articles de toilettes (gel douche etc). Il faudrait installer des portes plus isolantes.

Super accueil, personnel vraiment attentionné, s'occupe de nos déplacements avec des personnes de qualité. Repas du soir et petit déjeuner excellents.

We had a great stay. Only two nights. Our host sorted two superb tuk tuk tours. (I would recommend if on a short visit). The accommodation was beautifully presented, clean and comfortable. We also ate there. Excellent food!

The stay was made for us by the atmosphere of this small (7 rooms), exceptionally friendly, cosy and caring hotel. The staff go beyond to make sure that guests are comfortable and feel cared for - also with good humour. Trips were easily arranged at a reasonable price. The sound of willow engaging will ball (for the cricketers) can be enjoyed as locals play on the green opposite. Very good breakfast and traditional dinner offered. Again all at a very reasonable price. Many people travelled by Tuk Tuk to eat in the evening. Would highly recommend and stay again.🙏

A bit tired in places but doesn’t distract from the charm.

Everything was perfect! Gianni has been a great host, funny and very knowledgeable. Rooms are clean, close to all amenities, but in a quiet area so you don’t have noise in the morning. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay in Little Paradise. The hardworking manager was really admirable. He was constantly busy with keeping all the guests happy and helping everyone around. Dinner was good and the rooms were comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here while visiting Anuradhapura!

Bardzo sympatyczny zarządzający, żartuje, dobrze mówi po angielsku. Pomógł nam zorganizować rowery. Pokoje obszerne, czyste, łazienki ładne. Wszystko zgodnie ze zdjęciami. Bardzo dobre jedzenie (obiad i śniadania), można też wypić piwo. Zdecydowanie polecamy

Die ruhige Lage zir Stadt, allerdings hat mir der Ort nicht gefallen, so dass ich nicht mehr hinfahren würde.

Die vielen Mücken , so dass man eigentlich nicht draussen sitzen konnte.

Little Paradise is a little green, lush oasis. Shady and cool with a lovely, small and well tended garden. Delicious breakfast and dinner. They organised all our excursions - all so efficient. The owner and staff so kind and helpful. So glad we found this family run hotel

Lovely family run guest house, small and cosy. Staff were fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful. The food was also amazing and people who weren’t staying there, came to eat there. We got lots of good advice about things to do in the area.

Mosquitoes are a problem in Anuradhapura because of recent floods but the staff tried their best to limit them. Monkeys like to rattle around on the roof but again, that’s not the guest house fault.

De gastvrijheid. De gastheer was onwijs vriendelijk en hielp ons bij alles. Het hotel is mooi en het is leuk om op het terras te ontbijten en te kijken naar de tuin (vol met eekhoorns en vogels). Via het hotel hebben we een tour naar de oude stad geboekt en in de avond naar Mihintale. Het eten is heerlijk (probeer zeker ook het avondeten), de kamer is groot en het balkon fijn!

The staff was super friendly. If you needed anything, they went out of their way to arrange it for you. The room was really nice and big with a good bathroom. We only stayed there for a night but it was great! We had dinner at the accommodation and the food was amazing! Even though there was a power cut, the staff did everything to make you comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place!

Fijne en comfortabele kamer met airconditioning, klamboe en met een eigen balkon. Lekker ontbijt en avondeten bij het guesthouse. Personeel vraagt actief naar je plannen en of ze wat voor je kunnen organiseren, soms fijn, maar vond het ook soms wat te veel.

Het guesthouse is niet zo sociaal als je er komt als soloreiziger helaas, dat viel me wat tegen. Willen wel excursies voor je regelen, maar bieden geen opties om dat gecombineerd met anderen of een groep te doen, dat vond ik jammer. Ik had daarom achteraf liever in een socialer hostel gezeten.
