Very spacious and modern room with large bathroom. Very comfy beds and very helpful staff. Offered to collect us from train station. Excellent service.

Narrow steep (Dutch) stairs and no lift. We have mild mobility problems but staff carried luggage upstairs. No problem.

Wij hadden kamer aan voorzijde en dan kun je wat geluidsoverlast ervaren. Persoonlijk houd ik van een minder harde matras.

Ons verblijft was maar voor 1 nacht maar was heel erg goed. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst met rondleiding door de mooie en verzorgde kamers. Alles was netjes! Ontbijt was op de kamer en was heel erg goed. Wij ontbijten thuis nooit, dus als we ontbijten dan nemen we graag de broodvariaties, proef zeker het suiker- en krentenbrood! Ook de geweldige huisgemaakte confituur, deze was écht lekker. De ligging is wat afgelegen maar wel een ideale uitgangbasis om de streek te verkennen.

Eén klein minpuntje ... de b&b ligt naast een restaurant waarvan u zeker geen geluidsoverlast hebt. Maar wel een gemeenschappelijke parking waardoor deze voor de hotelgasten vol staat indien u 's avonds aankomt.

Goed verzorgd ontbijt,schone en ruime kamers,klantvriendelijk. Mooie fietsroutes ,dichtbij Alkmaar Amsterdam Castricum zandstrand noordzee

Voor mensen die fietsen onderdak willen hebben, moet je een beetje geluk hebben dat je een plek krijgt onder het kleine afdakje. Maar ze staan wel achter afgesloten deur

Heel fijn. Ruime parkeerplek, hartelijke ontvangst, vertrouwelijk en duidelijk. Comfortabele grote ruimte en geweldige badkamer met ligbad. Lekker groot bed, extra verwarming in de badkamer, fijne omgeving om stuk te wandelen of fietsen. Wandelend naar het centrum gegaan om te eten en boodschappen te doen. En als extra bonus (ik ben een liefhebber van de Friese Stabij): ze hebben een ontzettend lieve hond beneden.

Nou, in feite ontbreekt het je aan niets. Misschien een wat steviger kussen op bed.

The property is very easy to find with plenty of parking. We had a very large, quiet room overlooking the mill and the garden, with a table and chairs and also 2 armchairs for comfortable tv viewing or reading, etc. The large en suite bathroom had a bath and separate shower cubicle with a double wash basin. Breakfast was ordered the day before from an extensive list and delivered to the door at the selected time. Everything was lovely and fresh. The restaurant next door wasn’t open on the 2 nights we were there but Ina gave us a few options to choose from locally. She is very approachable and helpful.

Perfect location with supermarket, beaches, villages, etc all within a short distance. The quality of this accommodation is very high indeed. It had absolutely everything I needed and wanted. The host, Ina, is exceptionally helpful and informative about the local area. I used it as a base for several days of cycle tours. And it is only a 9 mile bike ride away from the DFDS ferry at IJMUIDEN. I really appreciated the secure under-cover place to leave my bike and the opportunity tp charge it up. The cardio-vascular work out on the very steep stairs!

Plezierige en vriendelijke ontvangst, ruime kamer en badkamer plus een goed verzorgd ontbijt.

De kamer is heel erg mooi,groot en vooral heel netjes! Alle faciliteiten zijn aanwezig. Het ontvangst was fijn. Ina gaf ons uitleg en nog wat tips voor de omgeving. Het ontbijt op de kamer was echt top ! Al met al hebben wij een heerlijk verblijf gehad! We komen zeker nog eens terug!

Super Frühstück im Korb vor der Tür gestellt und sehr reichhaltig. Tolles großes Zimmer sogar mit einem kleinen Kühlschrank. Alles sehr sauber. Die Besitzerin hat uns viele Tipps gegeben und war sehr freundlich. Von dort konnte man viele Ausflüge machen. Amsterdam mit Bus und Bahn erreichen. Einfach toll! Parkplatz war auch kostenfrei. Und die Aussicht auf die Mühle und den kleinen Tierpark war auch wundervoll.

Nichts!!! Naja, die Treppe, aber das ist in den Niederlanden so.

Uitstekende locatie ivm wandelroutes in Noord Holland Uitstekende service Kamer , bed en badkamer zeer proper en hygiënisch. Ontbijt op de slaapkamer is een leuk pluspunt en ook veel variatie in het ontbijt.

Zeer comfortabele kamer en n heerlijke badkamer. Het bed was zeer goed, en het ontbijt geweldig.

De ligging aan de drukke weg, maar daar was binnen weinig van te merken

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben uns in unserem Zimmer sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Ausblick auf die Windmühle war atemberaubend. Das Frühstück konnte man am Vortag auswählen. Es wurde in einem Picknickkorb vor die Tür gestellt. Es war eine super Auswahl und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Besonders haben wir das frisch geschnittene Obst, den griechischen Joghurt und den hochwertigen Orangensaft genossen. Jeden Tag konnte man auch selbstgemachte Marmelade wählen, die immer super geschmeckt hat. Qualität des Frühstücks war sehr hochwertig. Es war sehr gemütlich alleine im Zimmer zu frühstücken. Kaffe gabs von der Kapselmaschine. Das Geschirr war sehr schön und geschmackvoll gewählt. Rundum super. Ausflug mit der Bahn nach Amsterdam war gut machbar und sehr schön. Ansonsten sind wir mit unseren E-Bikes in der wunderschönen Gegend rumgefahren. Wir waren in den Städten Haarlem, Alkmaar und Zandvoort. Alles war gut zu erreichen. Die Fahrräder konnten wir sicher in der vorgesehenen Unterkunft abstellen. Fahrradfahren in den Niederlanden, an den Kanälen entlang, hat uns sehr viel Freude bereitet. Die Unterkunft liegt hierfür sehr gut. Gute und wertvolle Tipps bekamen wir jeden Vormittag von Ina. Es war ein toller, unvergesslicher Urlaub. Sehr zu empfehlen, gerne wieder. Ina is an exceptional.hostess. always willing to help and has a wealth of knowledge. The room was superb- - very spacious room and bathroom. Could not have asked for anything more. Bed furnishings etc were first class. Lots of sockets for charging appliances and wonderful blinds. Breakfast was substantial and very healthy.

Millsight is an outstanding, as a conference organiser I stay in many hotels. The location is a little out of the way. Whilst only being a 10 minute drive from the train station it is quite difficult to get an Uber or a taxi through Bolt. The bedroom was wonderful, immaculately clear, a great size, contemporary design. The staff were amazing, very polite and incredibly helpful.

There was very little not to like. We didn't have a tea spoon in the room but so what, we could you use one from the lovely lounge area on the landing. The towel were quite small - but that was all. There literally wasn't anything to complain about.

Loved our room and the breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend.

Excellent view by windmill, good location, very clean and comfortable well maintained accommodation. Host was very caring. Guided us to nearby tulip fields and made it convenient for us to commute to station, e-bikes .

A bit away from railway station so need to have a car . Unless don’t mind walking 20minutes .

The rooms are very nice and modern with a lot of space and all that you need. Ina is a very nice host, and she prepared an amazing breakfast basket for me every morning. There is also a nice restaurant next to the BnB with good food.

The location was great for the purpose of my visit (5min walk from the conference centre) but otherwise you need a car.

Stairs very steep, otherwise perfect.

What a great relaxing location. If you want to see a little of rural Holland this is it. Plenty of walks or bike rides to do, 25 min walk to the lake with stunning views and great restaurants and bars. Easy access from train station to Amsterdam, Harlem and Alkmaar. Property is fantastic, great host in Ina and super breakfast brought to you in a basket.

Minor downside is it’s 1.2 miles from the train station. There is a bus to the property the 163 that runs hourly.

Very positive impressions. Neat, clean and well equipped room. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was varied, delicious and served in the room. The location is excellent starting point for sightseeing the nearby beauty of North Holland. Hostess was friendly, communicative and accommodating. Next time we'll try to stay more than one night. There is a beautiful old Windmill illuminated at night.

the room was brand new, big and comfortable, the breakfast was really good and the host nice and welcoming.

the room’s door couldn’t be closed well so we heard rumors from the hallway.

Ina's warm welcome and very kind treatment really contributed to the overall good feeling during our stay. She was very helpful, with attention to every detail. The breakfast is served in the room (you can make your own choices from wide variety of pastries, cheese, ham/sausages, boiled eggs, fruits, marmalades, yoghurts, fresh orange juice). Cleanliness is just perfect. The location is great to make trips to surrounding towns/villages, to the coast, as well as to Amsterdam (easiest way to get there is by train, in 30-45 min). Ina provides a brief overview of the places worth visiting in the neighborhood upon arrival and shows you everything on the map in the lobby. We recommend to visit the restaurant located on the ground floor, which is delicious (Ina also provides you with a list of other restaurants and supermarkets nearby, upon request). The bed was perfect (mattresses are stiff and comfy). We will definitely come back again!

Trucks passing by can be a bit noisy, but it is acceptable if the windows are closed.
