Auch eine schöne Sitzgelegenheit im Garten mit Grill war vorhanden. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls vielfältig, leider konnten wir nur eine Nacht bleiben. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend und haben für einen perfekten Aufenthalt gesorgt.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2025Janice n Kevin were absolutely lovely and kind even though we arrived later then the usual check in time they were super understanding. They accommodated us and our fur Baby and even gave us a later checkout due to our circumstances. You can tell they take absolute pride in their B&B and it definitely shows and reflects on how we felt when we left. Absolute Gems they are. The breakfast included was just the perfect touch for us being on the go and strapped for time also.

Janice was so welcoming and helped us to plan our trip the next day with some great info about the area with handy print outs to take away with us. The accommodation was spotless and had everything you might need. Felt very welcoming and comfortable. We will definitely stay again!

Reviewed Jul 7, 2025OMG I could not be more appreciative and overwhelmed by Janice and Kevin's guide tour knowledge and hospitality. THE ROOM. Worth sooooo much more than priced, seriously. The entire room is equipped with A comfortable Queen sized, single bed and a sofa bed. Fully equipped kitchenette stocked with tea, coffee, sugar kettle, toaster and washing machine. The Bathroom is amazing. A massive and I mean MASSIVE walk in shower with the best shower head. A comfortable inshower chair and hand rail. The vanity is big enough to comfortably fit two people lol. The air conditioning/heat pump adds a little bit of warmth which is not really necessary as the bedding gives more than enough warmth on a winters night. THE PROPERTY The views from the proprty are stunning. Sits on top of a hill with views of surrounding rolling hills and ocean views. Breath taking. Beautiful plants and fruit trees surround it. THE HOST. If you ever head to Taipa and have the pleasure of staying here, Janice knows her stuff. She gave us a small map which outlines 'places of interest'. If you want food, hotspots or quick tips to reach your destination, she's your "go-to". So pleased we experienced Taipa with Janice. If I ever head back up north I will be back. So comfortable and homely.

Reviewed Apr 2, 2025We very much enjoyed a comfortable stay with Janice and Kevin at Taipa Views B&B. They could not be more warm, welcoming and helpful. A very lovely couple who were attentive but also discreet. The apartment is private, self contained, spotlessly clean and well maintained, with all mod cons. In particular, after weeks of travel, the washing machine and drying line were very convenient and we loved the views from the garden. Janice and Kevin have also prepared the most useful information pack full of local recommendations. This was very much appreciated. The B&B is located very conveniently for exploring Cape Reinga and the local area. We loved Rarawah Beach and also Manganui. After our departure, Janice phoned. They had received a card for me from the UK for Mothering Sunday! Huge thanks to them both for going to all the trouble of forwarding to a future stop! xxx

There are so many little details from the large bathroom with walk in shower, subtly hidden assistance rails, to the additional lowered towel rail. For someone who doesn't require assistance nor a wheelchair, this place is very spacious! It is very clean. Janice gave us a tour of the unit and Kevin provided some great yarns and ideas on where to go next. These two make lovely hosts! They are very welcoming and kind.
