It was walking distance to town

It was dirty, dated the roof was peeling, the heater, electric blanket or hair dryer didn't work .. there was no one in the office to voice our concerns to... Only one blanket on the bed and with no heater and a lumpy hard bed we didn't have a good sleep...

Location was close to everything

Although we arrived later than expected we were warmly greeted and given good information. The room was clean and tidy, with all expected extras. The room had a heater, warming the room almost instantly.

Im a repeat customer who wanted my family to experience the facility.

The room size, own kitchenette separate toilet and shower. Very nice size for small family.

Cup was Tea stained, Toilet switch broken, loose, concerned about electrocution. Shower handle loose, had trouble turning for temperature.

The vibe of the place

The room next door was extremely loud and disruptive. I tried calling reception multiple times to report the lack of noise control, but no one ever answered the phone. Time was around 11:40pm.

La cama era cómoda, la ducha funcionaba muy bien y la ubicación es excelente para recorrer el extremo norte de la Isla Norte, incluyendo Cape Reinga y Ninety Mile Beach. Además, el establecimiento dispone de una piscina exterior y un spa de uso común en una caseta independiente.

La habitación, anunciada como “Deluxe” de 25 m², resultó ser mucho más pequeña de lo esperado. Todo era muy escaso: no había armario ni perchas, el menaje de cocina era mínimo y apenas había espacio para guardar o dejar cosas. El lavabo del baño también era tan pequeño que resultaba muy incómodo de usar.

The motel looked to be the best option of limited choices in Kaitaia.

Unfortunately the next door neighbour has a very loud barking dog

My room was pretty nice, staff are so kind, my room was clean and comfortable

Room was near to Main Road so lots of noise in early morning.

Clean, good bed,good size room,pool was nice.

They were able to accommodate my request for parking right outside our room and ground level accommodation by putting us in older accommodation, supposed to be in newer part of Motel. Had everything we needed, very very comfortable, didn't mind the older decor cos they met our requests. Excellent hassle free stay, party of 3.

The pool was quite dirty, also in rough condition my son still enjoyed it however the spa was locked so we were not able to enjoy this sadly.

The cleaning department slacked on cleaning the room, cups, knife rack and especially toilet and toilet brush and caddy which were disgusting!

Die Lage des Motels war gut und die Ausstattung entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Es ist alles etwas alt, aber das hat uns nicht gestört.

Leider sind verschiedene Dinge nicht mehr wirklich in Ordnung: wackliger Stuhl, verklemmter Wasserhahn....es wirkte etwas lieblos, nachlässig gewartet.

The carpets were so dirty, not sure if it was blood stains or what it was, its radish brown drippings next to the bed and under the Tv. The complete apartment smelled like wet dog too. I wanted to turn around and walk out but was so tired of travelling and decided to just stay the night, but at night realised the beds were also so uncomfortable you can feel the mattress coils coming through.

Great staff who put us onto a local taxi for our group of 10. Te Hiku Go. Is the best shuttle/taxi/party taxi in town. 100%.

The room and bathroom was clean. TV had sky.

Cold and the heater didn’t work very well. Very thin duvet so not warm. No drawers if hangers to hang jacket or trousers.

Location was perfect because the church I attended to for our meeting was just opposite.

Sehr nettes und meist professionelles Personal! Wünsche oder Fehlendes werden sofort, zuvorkommend und mit sehr viel Einsatz in Ordnung gebracht. Sehr gute Lage. Interessantes, älteres Gebäude und Pub. Gibt Einblick in lokales Leben und geschichtliche Hintergründe. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll im vintage Stil ausgestattet. Grosses Pub, tolle Musik, Aufsteller. Pub serviert Mahlzeiten. Gute Auswahl und passable Küche.

Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und wurde zu einem Teil unprofessionell renoviert. Das muss jetzt wohl das aktuell im Einsatz stehende Personal ausbaden und wettmachen. - Aber darum erst recht: unterstützenswert!!!
