Amazing room with the most incredible view. Delicious breakfast. Owners will help with anything you need. Super kind people. One of the best bed and pillows, super good quality.

Het was een adembenemend uitzicht op de vallei en Ella Rock. Wij werden verrast door een fantastisch concert van de verschillende vogels in de ochtend. Daarbij kregen we nog een zeer divers ontbijt voorgeschoteld. Wat een feest was dit verblijf. Niet aarzelen maar boeken! Top!

Logement magnifique ! Vue sur la nature incroyable à seulement 15 minutes à pied (ou 5 min de tuktuk du centre) personnel très gentil et petit déjeuné très copieux. Je recommande !

Tutto, la cortesia, la gentilezza, la colazione infinita, la vista sulla giungla, il silenzio che la circonda. Qualità prezzo imbattibili per queste latitudini.

Die Aussicht, das Frühstück, die Lage, das Zimmer. Das Frühstück wurde auf dem eigenen Balkon serviert, was sehr schön war (über eine Nebentüre, nicht durch das Zimmer!). Es wurde auch auf individuelle Ernährungsbedürfnisse eingegangen. Sehr liebevoll! Ella ist toll, wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Es war schön, etwas außerhalb zu wohnen.

Beautiful location, friendly staff and super nice breakfast

Bedden waren fantastisch, uitzicht nog beter, en met het op het balkon geserveerde ontbijt echt fenomenaal, een feestje! Afstand tot centrum, is prima te doen. Eigenaar heeft tuktuk, die mag je lenen/huren. Wij hadden een jeep dus niet nodig. Lopend ook wel te doen maar in het donker wel klein beetje tricky met het verkeer. Echt een pareltje. Ella is ook erg leuk, gezellig en heerlijk gegeten, leuke vibe.

Niks, ja dat we hier niet langer van het uitzicht en de ontbijtjes konden genieten. Ja en de koffie, had voor mij wat sterker gemogen. Maar dat is echt persoonlijk.

Es war sehr neu, komfortabel und die Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück auf dem Balkon war wunderbar und reichlich.

Es ist manchmal schwierig, die Klimaanlage gut einzustellen. Man schläft entweder zu warm oder liegt „im Wind.“

Die Wahrscheinlich schönste Aussicht in Ella, leckeres wechselndes Frühstück, sehr nette Gastgeber und sehr saubere Zimmer. Würden definitiv wieder kommen.

Einfache Zimmer, Bad etwas älter, Ausstattung auch älter, aber vollkommen in Ordnung. Besitzer ist freundlich und hilft wo er kann! Aussicht ist der Hammer. Man kann direkt über sehr steile Treppe auf die Bahngleise und Richtung kleinem Wasserfall bzw. Ella Rock gehen!

Eigentlich nichts! Auf der Terrasse sitzend können Affen vorbei kommen und alles mitnehmen was rumliegt!

La simpatía del personal en todo momento la atención constante sobre nuestras necesidades i actividades futuras en los días de estancia para la organización del desayuno etc (mejor desayuno imposible muchísima variedad y con unas vistas inmejorables) y también añadir que tienen transporte propio de tuk tuk desde la puerta del hotel a donde necesites ir, avisando con un mensaje con 5/10 minutos de antelación.

Absolutely stunning property, the photos don’t do it justice!

It was a beautiful location , welcoming staff and amazing breakfast.

Bottom room had no air conditioning but it was cool enough the fan.

The staff was amazing and helped us with everything we needed. They even have a tuk tuk service and were happy to drive us to town or anywhere else when needed, which was very convenient. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was very good as well.

One thing to note — not really the property’s fault — is that the area is extremely humid. At night, even the bedsheets felt a bit damp because of the humidity. Since there is no AC and the fan is quite noisy, it was difficult to properly circulate the air in the room.

We absolutely loved our stay. The family owners were so nice . The views breathtaking and the property clean and modern. The owner runs a Tuk Tuk very reasonably priced so you could shuttle to town and back .

Wir hatten von unserem Zimmer aus ein Balkon, welches man Aussicht auf den Dschungel hatte. Es war sehr ruhig. Dieser Ort war sehr relaxing. Wir waren froh, nicht im Zentrum gewesen zu sein.

Der Weg dorthin ist eine Herausforderung.

The view was amazing which includes a waterfall! Close to town but far enough away to relax. Great breakfast and friendly staff.

What a spectacular view! Very friendly staff, comfy beds, delicious breakfast. Everything within walking distance, but also Tuktuk service available. 10 minutes to Ella city Centre. Close to Ella Rock Trail.

The coffee… so have some tea when in Sri Lanka

Fantastisch ontbijt op een prachtige plek. Locatie ligt op een heuvel, maar je bent zomaar in Ella.

Our favorite stay in whole Sri Lanka. The view, the comfortable room, the kindest staff, the tuk tuk service.. breakfast was excellent and changed everyday. Ella Center is in walking distance. Perfect start for a hike to Ella Rock.

The view from the private balcony is beautiful!! The room was spacious, clean & quiet. Breakfast is included, which is such a highlight as you can sit on your balcony whilst you eat. Hosts were great, communication was perfect and they could organise tuk tuk's to centre of Ella. Thank you!!

Wunderschöne Lage mit Blick vom Balkon auf einen Wasserfall und die grünen Berge von Ella. Frühstück war super lecker und reichhaltig und wurde auf dem Balkon serviert. Einfach nur schön. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ins Zentrum von Ella zu Fuss ca. 10-15 min.Alles machbar. Klare Empfehlung.

Modern , gut ausgestattet, große Terrasse, gute ruhige Lage mitten im Grünen , gutes reichhaltiges Frühstück , sehr nettes Personal

We loved the location, being slightly out of town but a 15 minute walk in. Therefore a restful and quiet spot away from the music of the centre of Ella. A short Tuktuk into town also. The hosts were excellent and looked after us from the moment we arrived on the train, arranging a complimentary Tuktuk so we didn’t have to wait in the rain. The owner also gave us a Tuktuk ride into town for dinner when we couldn’t book one. The breakfast was amazing with a view of a waterfall and the mountains. The room was spacious, with a fridge, a decent bathroom and a sizeable balcony where we had breakfasts. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Not much to dislike. The shower curtain showed a tiny bit of mould and the bathroom fan stopped working but all very minor things.

Magnifique vue de la chambre, les hôtes sont à l'écoute et très réactifs. Hôtel très bien situé avec un petit déjeuner copieux.

Wir waren begeistert von der Aussicht, der Lage, dem geräumigen Zimmer und das Personal war überaus zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück auf dem eigenen Balkon war ebenfalls ein Highlight. Das Hotelpersonal hat uns sogar noch auf unsere vergessenen Kopfhörer aufmerksam gemacht und zum Bahnhof gebracht. Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Tuktuk/Taxi Service, was sehr praktisch ist.

Einzige Mankos: Die Dusche hat 5 Minuten gebraucht, um warm zu werden und es war manchmal etwas hellhörig.

Prachtig uitzicht en een heerlijk ontbijt. Ook dicht bij Ella Rock, dus als je deze wenst te beklimmen is Ever Green Mount een aarader.

Lack of room cleaning. I had five five-night stays, but not a single day was the room cleaned, including the shower /washroom.

Die Lage war super. Fussläufig ins Zentrum aber dennoch im Grünen mit tollem Ausblick in die wunderschöne Landschaft. Man kann sogar einen Wasserfall sehen. Mit etwas Glück sieht man sogar Affen die rum turnen.

Das Frühstück wird direkt auf die eigene Terrasse gebracht. Das war sehr besonders.

Absolute Empfehlung. Hier hat einfach alles gepasst. Saubere Unterkunft. Sehr leckeres Frühstück + Traumhafter Ausblick. Super nette Gastgeber. Sie haben uns sogar am Bahnhof abholt und an einem Tag zu einem Ausflugsziel gefahren und wieder Heimgefahren. Liegt nicht direkt in Ella aber so hat man seine Ruhe. Man ist aber auch in 15 Minuten in die Stadt gelaufen. Wäscheservice gibt es auch. Hier fühlt man sich einfach wohl. Wenn wir nochmal nach Sri Lanka kommen, machen wir hier auf jeden Fall auch halt.

La cosa che ho apprezzato di più è l’accoglienza e la disponibilità degli host. Ho apprezzato tantissimo la colazione deliziosa servita sul terrazzo vista montagna. Abbiamo chiesto servizio tuk tuk per tornare la sera e in 5 minuti l’host è venuto a prenderci.

Migliorerei la gestione dell'umidità nella stanza.

The view from our balcony. The breakfast is good with nice views of nature. Pretty quiet and relaxing room. Kaabi showed us around Ella with a rented tuktuk. He is a good tuktuk driver.

There was a dodgy guy with a car who waits for us always when we go out, recommended by Kaabi, a hotel worker even though we were asking for tuktuk for our short transfer to town. We used him once, but he followed and joined us in the restaurant expecting a freebie and just said he will wait for us to deliver us back. We felt uncomfortable ,and it happened again the second time around when we said we wanted a tuktuk, he was already outside waiting. He maybe harmless and just wants to earn money, but makes our stay uncomfortable when you encounter things like this. The management should not allow this to happen to their clients.

Wat een fantastische plek in Ella. Op loopafstand van het centrum en toch middenin de natuur. We hadden een ruim privé terras met uitzicht uitzicht op Ella Rock, Lipton's seat en de Ravana waterval. Iedere ochtend kregen we een lekker ontbijt. We hadden een klein vijvertje met prachtige lotusbloem.

Hot water takes 3-5 mins to heat up but just factor into your plans. Be prepared for a 15 min walk to the Main Street/5 min tuk tuk but worth it for the breath taking views from the property

The view was really nice and the room was spacious. The outside space was great. The owners were very friendly and helpfull. It was possible to text them for a tuktuk ride, which was nice in the evening!

Truly enjoyable experience - the room looked out to misty mountains and it was awesome waking up to the sounds of nature , wildlife and even a waterfall! Made my birthday even more special! Breakfast was delicious and so varied with fresh fruit and juices and great to eat out in the balcony in your own privacy. We were well looked after!

The hosts were really nice. Very helpful and served a good breakfast and plenty of it. The views were amazing. The only thing it lacked was air con. After a long busy day in the heat it would be nice to come back to a nice cool room and it would keep the room feeling fresh. Other than that there are no complaints. The location was good, only 10mins walk from the town.

We had a wonderful time at Ever Green Mount. The host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive – we felt welcome from the very first moment. He provided us with valuable tips and assisted us with everything we needed. The price-performance ratio is excellent, and the rooms are clean and cozy and we had a wonderfully view.

It is a very beautiful location, surrounded by so much greenery and views of the waterfall. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing! The hosts were super friendly and helpful. The communication with the host via WhatsApp worked perfectly and he always answered within minutes when we needed something.

The room was quite humid and caused a stuffy smell, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable as the bedsheets and our clothes felt very clammy after a while.
