Super chambre, très grande et propre. Il ne fait pas du tout chaud la nuit, même s’il n’y a qu’un ventilateur. L’emplacement est aussi génial, en plein centre ville mais sans le bruit et l’agitation.

L’accès est en pente donc un peu difficile avec des bagages mais en tuktuk c’est ok ! Des aboiements de chien la nuit, donc prévoir des boule quies. Sur la chambre rien à redire !!

I liked the room because its big enough for 2person

The location is at the top of the hill. It's difficult if you dont have tuktuk or bike or car. Walking upto the hotel is like a hiking on a steep mountain. Very tiring

Ella touch was a wonderful place where we had very comfortable stay. There is only a walking distance to Ella town, super markets and the restaurants. The surrounding was very calm, quiet, and heart blowing. Rooms and the bathrooms were very clean And the staff was very friendly. Highly recommended

Fijne kamer en goedwerkende airco! De eigenaren waren erg aardig en het ontbijt was elke ochtend top!

Friendly staff, spacious room but molded everywhere, need upgrade and refurbish.

Constructions is going next door, quite dusty room and smelly room. Getting through a steep slope to get there.

Das Hotel lag neben einer Baustelle, das war ab und zu etwas laut… Durch die Lüftungsschlitze über den Fenstern, wurde es in der Nacht ziemlich kalt im Zimmer.

Basic, schone kamer. Ligging buiten het lawaai van de grote straat.

Het is een pittige klim naar boven, zeker met backpack. Er waren glazen en kopjes, maar geen thee, koffie of waterkoker. Er zijn geen verdere faciliteiten bij Ella Touch.

This place is simply amazing. Its a huge room with a clean shower and comfortable bed. You‘re on the main street in less than 5 minutes but during the night there is not much noise!

Приятный персонал, большая комната, большая кровать, большая ванная комната. Были чайник и мини ХОЛОДИЛЬНИК. Вся техника в комнате была исправна. Мыло, бумага, полотенца, теплые пледы были в наличии. Расположение хорошее, недалеко от главной дороги, но при этом ночью тихо.

Отсутствие вытяжки в ванной и соответственно появляется плесень. Возможно через некоторое время, её станет слишком много.(( Стройка рядом (но когда-нибудь она закончится))))

Le logement est très bien placé, il suffit de descendre 5minutes et nous sommes au centre ville avec beaucoup de restaurants, etc c’est assez animé. La chambre à ce qu’il faut. Vige qui m’a accueilli était super gentil

Une petite odeur de mal séché ou je ne sais pas trop quoi m’a dérangé sur les coussins mais j’ai couvert avec une couverture.

La chambre était grande, très bien placée, le personnel très gentil et la salle de bain très bien !je recommande

Le seul bémol est le manque d’intimité avec les grande baie vitrée et les travaux très tôt le matin et tout les jours

La cama era grande pero no muy cómoda, ruidosa y sin mosquitera como aparece en las fotos. Por desgracia había un edificio en obras justo en frente de nuestra puerta por lo que las mañanas eran bastante ruidosas. Obviamente no es culpa del alojamiento pero eso hizo que no fuera una estancia de 10.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr gut, das Bett sehr gemütlich mit einem Moskitonetz. Einen Ventilator gab es auch. Alles in Allem, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut.

Leider gab es neben der Toilette ganz viele tote Käfer, was wir aber nicht angesprochen hatten, weil der Gastgeber uns eh nicht verstanden hätte, da er leider gar kein Englisch konnte. Sicherlich hätte man die Käfer weggemacht, wenn wir das angesprochen hätten. W-lan hat am ersten Tag gar nicht funktioniert und danach schon aber nicht so gut. Außerdem ist die Unterkunft auf einem Berg gelegen und der Weg dorthin ist sehr steil und entsprechend ziemlich anstrengend. Das ist kein negativer Punkt, sondern eher als Info gedacht

The host Vije was very polite and friendly, letting us check in early, the room was very clean and spacious and located just outside (up a hill from) Ella town!

Il signore nonostante non sapesse l'inglese è stato molto disponibile, l'ultimo giorno ce ne siamo andati via in anticipo e ha voluto darci parte di rimborso. La struttura era nuova e molto spaziosa.

Purtroppo era in una stradina molto ripida, le lenzuola e i cuscini erano molto sporchi,la camera inoltre presentava molte fessure dalle quali potevano entrare molti animali. Non abbiamo dormito nulla per i frastuoni del cantiere di fronte.

Die Unterkunft war super um ein paar Nächte in Ella zu verbringen. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Die Baustelle direkt daneben lässt einen nicht wirklich ausschlafen und ist sehr laut. Hat uns allerdings nicht weiter gestört wenn man tagsüber eh unterwegs ist.

La habitación era amplia.

No te dejan jabón, ni tiene agua caliente. Para subir al alojamiento tienes que subir una cuesta infernal. Además, están de obras justo al lado y no tienen horario, por lo que no vas a dormir. Al ser todo cristalera la habitación no tienes nada de intimidad, además no te dejan en paz y te observan constantemente.

The room is very big and clean. The host is nice.

It has 2 some hills from the Main Street, so have to call a Tuktuk just for the hills of you have any big suitcases or pay the owner to do this. The curtain basically doesn’t help at all, every morning got super bright. Beside the house, there is a property doing constructions, not a view and quite noisy tbh.

Staff very friendly and helpful throughout the whole stay. Perfect location, a few minutes walk to the main centre street, very spacious room and nice, clean bathroom. Couldn’t recommend enough!!

They are working on another building in front of the rooms which at the moment means lots of noise and workers walking pretty much outside your window and in the future it will cover the nice view.

This is my second time to stay in Ella Touch. Convenient location and the room is comfortable stay.

The staff were really friendly and the hotel is close to the centre of town.

1. The hotel is located on a really steep hill. I would not recommend it for anyone who has mobility issues or young children. 2. We stayed in the deluxe bedroom and it was floor to ceiling windows on the ground floor. The room felt really exposed and we had to draw the curtains the full time as everyone walks past the room. 3. The bathroom in the deluxe room had the worst mould I have ever seen in a hotel. It didn’t appear that any effort had been made to remove the mould. There also wasn’t any ventilation in the bathroom to prevent it from happening. 4. The bedding was covered in stains. 5. There is a building site directly next to the hotel and we were woken up repeatedly around 07:00am. 6. The room was really hot and humid every day we stayed. There was no air conditioning in the room (which we were aware of when booking). But there was only one fan available in the room and it was not very strong. For a room that size, it definitely required more fans. 7. The shower wasn’t great and frequently ran out of hot water. 8. There were ants in the room and on the bed when we arrived. The ants continued to show up every single day. I would not stay in this hotel again.

Rooms: Clean, comfortable beds and great shower temperature and pressure. Location: 3 minute walk from central Ella with amazing restaurants and night life. Host: Great guy, organised all our trips and tuk tuk transport for a very reasonable price.

No AC or fan. Steep walk up hill to get to the accommodation. Not a big walk but anyone with mobility issues could struggle. However, tuk tuks can drive up.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel and everything was perfect! Perfect location (close to shops), spacious and clean room and a warm welcome by Vije and Milan. Milan is generous, kind, smiling and responsive. In addition, he gave us many tips for visiting the city and its surroundings. I highly recommend!

The young caretaker was always polite and friendly and I liked him. The hotel was modern, clean and in a close location to shops and restaurants.

The caretaker was chalming and friendly but didn't always give us our privacy as he spent too much time around the guests rooms. He was also a bit too friendly with pricing for tours and transport around Ella. Maybe not his fault, likely under instruction from his employer to maximise profit. When we paid for hotel, they had no electronic payment available nor any change available to pay in cash. I was very angry Id have to go back down street to buy something in order to have the correct money to pay hotel. So unprofessional. Once there was no hot water for showering. There was always an older man lurking around the hotel talking in Sinhalese to the young caretaker but not an employee. Suspicious. Some ongoing construction close to hotel. Not too noisy, just unsightly and a messy shared driveway .

The best thing about this place is the manager, Milan. I've met a lot of very nice hosts in my month in Sri Lanka but he stands above. Very nice and welcoming. Took care of all travel needs. Need a tuk tuk? Safari arrangements. Whatever, he did a great job. My phone got wet and wouldn't charge. He dried it out. I found myself just hanging at the hotel with Milan. The place is fairly new and quite nice. It's up a hill on a one lane road that is two way traffic. 70% of the time it's fine but the rest it can be a mess. The hotel has views of Ella rock and the monastery. Milan said sunrises are beautiful and features Ella Rock but I did not catch one. No AC but you don't need it. Room has plates, glasses, cups and a hot pot. I tried to extend my stay but it was booked.

The internet exists but is a little slow. But my phone data worked just fine. Others complained about construction but I could barely hear it. It's much quieter than most places I've stayed in this country.

Milan and Vije were very welcoming given we booked early in the morning and arrived shortly after. Milan was a great host to chat to and made us feel very comfortable. The bed and bathroom were both very clean. Lots of space in the room, with chairs to sit on inside and outside. The mini fridge was handy too. One of the best bathrooms we saw in Sri Lanka. The balcony view of Ella rock was excellent.

10 minutes before check-in I got a call from them telling me they are overbooked…

Friendly staff, it felt safe and they allowed us to keep our bags there after check-out as we went exploring around Ella, before leaving in the afternoon for the coast.

The room smelled overpoweringly of damp and the 'toiletries' turned out to be a bar of handsoap and the bathrobes pure fiction. No sheet to cover yourself - just a blanket.

Actually we liked the rooms, we ordered two. One was triple, spacious with a wonderful views from balcony, big windows and the other one was at first floor, double room, smaller but also nice. Very good value for the price. It is also located 3 min from Ella centre with all shops and restaurants so that was comfortable.

Not so good things place about this place: - constructions are happening around the building so keep in mind that you can be woken up at 8 am from all the sounds. - kind of poor sound proofing you can hear people talking outside and music in the late evening from Ella center

It’s a perfect location up a bit of a hill but means you can’t hear all of Ella on a night, the accommodation itself is very well cleaned with good facilities and can’t name a single fault. Would definitely recommend very shocked this place is not more expensive.

The room had zero privacy, is all windows facing every one who is going to other rooms, there were workers so I had to stay the entire time with all the curtains closed.

Location great! Ella itself is a bit noisy so we were very happy to be a little bit outside the center, but still close enough to have restaurants, ect. Ruwan is a really easy-going, nice guy and helped us a lot. The room was very clean and the beds huge.

Chilly at night, but Ruwan gave us more blankets, then it was totally fine.

The bed was lovely. The garden is small and they were working there, but no disturbance. Owner was nice and the windows in the room nice. You do not hear the noises of Ella, what is very nice and a lot of nature sounds around. It is very close of everything.

It is a steep hill up. Specially after a night drinking it is steep.

It is very difficult to find accommodation in Ella where you don’t feel the dampness, and all your belongings end up damp after just one night. But here, we found it! The room was beautiful, clean, and airy. The bathroom was modern and spotless. The owner was extremely helpful. On the evening of our arrival, he arranged for our laundry to be done, and by the next morning, everything was washed and fresh. The following day, he arranged a scooter rental for us. We initially planned to stay for only two nights, but we liked it so much that we extended our stay. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Very close to the city. All the restaurants/supermarkets/bus stand / rail station are within minutes away. The room is clean and the staff is very friendly. We will hope to visit once again.

Ruwan is amazing! the police station took our Tuk Tuk and Ruwan saved it :) the accommodation is also comfy and near everything, i can recommend

Ruwan was very helpful and friendly! The room itself was amazing - very clean and looked new. We would stay here again. There was construction on next door but this didn't not bother us as it wasn't loud and it wasn't a problem.

The toilet leaked a little which made the bathroom smell a bit. We would stay still again though.

Good location in Ella. Is based on a big hill, but don’t let that put you off. Ruwan will go above and beyond for you. The nicest host ever!! Room was clean, spacious and comfortable!! Would stay again if ever in Ella.

Nothing not to like. Only suggestion to owner would be to add mosquito nets to all rooms.

Nice place close to town, but quiet and secluded.

This was the only place I stayed that only had type g plugs. The nearest grocery store sells cheap adapters if you find yourself with only a type d. I felt perfectly safe, but the windows don’t have any type of bars or screens. Since there’s no a/c you’ll likely want to have them open.

The host ruwan is very friendly and good person. We were late for our check-in it was like 10.45 pm but he was ready to welcome us. I really recommend the place. It is a bit uphill but worth the price you pay.
