The room was available very quickly and the staff allowed us to stay until 5pm even though the check out was 12am, the location is close to the center and very convenient.

No air conditioning, and in the shower it wasn’t easy to adjust cold and hot water it was either super cold or super hot.

We searched for a long time for a place that balanced our need for peace with being close to the city center, and this hotel was the perfect spot. The cottages are very spacious, with large bathrooms and incredibly comfortable beds. Everything was spotless. The location is strategic: you are very close to the center without any of the city noise, and it’s a great starting point for visiting nearby waterfalls and temples. Plus, there are plenty of tuk-tuks right outside. Just a quick heads-up for future guests: there is a short but quite steep hill to reach the cottages. It is totally doable, but it might not be suitable if you have mobility issues or need barrier-free access. Otherwise, it was an absolutely fantastic and beautiful stay. Highly recommended!

Its secluded so its chill but u need to hike up the property to reach it everytime u decide to go out. Not the cleanest. No breakfast and the host only came in the end to collect the money. Good for value but won’t come back here again.

The location of this property was really good, right in Ella town centre. The beds were pretty comfortable and the staff were friendly.

Being right in the town centre, you’re close to all the loud bars which can be pretty disruptive in the evening. The room was also a little tired looking inside, smelt a bit musty and could get a bit warm given there’s no AC!

Such a great location to Ella town, amazing rooms, nice and big! Lovely garden and super helpful staff! We would highly recommend

Wir haben leider nur eine Nacht hier übernachtet, da die Unterkunft bereits ausgebucht war – wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und die gesamte Anlage sehr gepflegt und einladend. Auch das Frühstück war hervorragend. Besonders praktisch fanden wir den Wasserspender, an dem man sich jederzeit mit leckerem Trinkwasser versorgen konnte. Die Lage ist zudem relativ zentral, sodass man das Zentrum bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Das Personal war zudem sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

It was close to a venue where there was loud music every night

Yoga (the manager) and his staff were very helpful in many ways. I was here with my two brothers and we really had an excellent time here: location is very central, rooms are very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The generous breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka. You couldn't ask for more.

This was the prettiest most comfortable room we’ve stayed in in our now 6 weeks in Sri Lanka. It was amazingly well designed and perfectly situated.

it was quiet and full of beautiful birds were in the area. we definitely loved the garden and the view

the bedsheets were not the cleanest, although when we asked the staff to change it they did without a problem, yet it was still a bit dirty

Great location — just a 3‑minute walk to the main street of the town, full of restaurants, bars and shops. It’s also very convenient for hiking: only 10 minutes on foot to the start of the Nine Arches Bridge trail and about 15 minutes to Little Adam’s Peak. The property is very nice, with the option to have a very good breakfast From the balcony of our room, which overlooked the garden, we could also see one of the main streets of the town. The room was clean and exactly as described in the offer. Overall, a very pleasant stay and an excellent base to explore the area.

Small downside: being close to the main road, loud music can be heard at night until late.

We arrived at ….. and saw our rooms were not together. Both in separate areas. The management, Mr Gihan and team were quick to swap some guests around to make sure we were happy with placement. The following day (our last day) they kindly let us check out a little later to gain some extra rest from all our travels. Once checked out my friend came back from a massage and mentioned he was still a little oily from it and Gihan insisted he took a shower before leaving even know we had checked out. The level of care and genuine compassion was 10/10. Such lovely caring team willing to make your stay as pleasurable as possible Thank you Gihan and team. B and Jack

Very nice and clean cottages close to the centre of ella. Everything within walking distance. Check in and out without problems and the staff was very friendly and courteous. Laundry service was also great and reasonably priced. I would book again at any time.

The view and balcony is fantastic and the cottage big enough . Good situated.

I would have preferred a working safe and a well lockable door but even though this was not so good we felt safe - but it would be good to improve

De locatie (5 minuutjes lopen van de gezellige straat met restaurants en souveniershops, maar toch rustig) en de vriendelijkheid van de staff. Ze stonden 24/7 voor ons klaar en gingen zelfs onze was ‘s avonds nog doen na een hike.

La struttura molto semplice ma davvero carica . Le camere sono abbastanza pulite e con un giardinetto davanti recintato . A pochi passi dal centro per una stradina in salita .

We had an amazing stay! It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our privacy and to be away from the busy center, but in just a 3 minute walk we were at the Main Street! It was amazing!

La struttura di per sé era carina ma purtroppo un po’ mal tenuta e poco pulita (c’erano macchie evidenti di sporco sulle lenzuola). Siamo stati sfortunati inoltre in quanto accanto al nostro cottage c’erano dei lavori in corso quindi poca privacy .. Molto vicina alla strada principale ma la salita è da tener conto, per chi non è “agile” c’è da dire che é molto ripida.

Pulizia in primis , letto un po’ scomodo (erano due singoli uniti,non matrimoniale come da richiesta)

On a payé 10€ de laundry, je pense on s’est fait arnaqués un petit peu. Pensez à demander le prix au kilos avant de donner votre linge ça évitera des surprises en découvrant la note.

Location was close to the center of Ella. Accommodation with the balcony, spacious with it s high roof.

The cottage is not located in a nice green area, but surrounded by construction sites on every side. Photos are a bit misleading.

Posizione centralissima, per arrivarci bisogna fare una salita piuttosto ripida ma fattibile. La struttura è molto carina e accogliente, arredata con gusto. La stanza è molto spaziosa e dotata anche di frigo. Il letto abbastanza comodo.

Il bagno, anche con le finestre chiuse, rimane sempre freddo. Specialmente di notte, quando le temperature a Ella si abbassano e non di poco.

Lo staff super cordiale e disponibile. Abbiamo soggiornato due notti e le colazioni erano diverse per ogni mattina e buonissime. La posizione centrale ma silenziosa e immersa nel verde. Super consigliato

The road is steep!

Habitación amplia y bonita, cama muy cómoda, ubicación próxima al centro, servicio de lavandería, garrafa de agua grande para poder rellenar las botellas.

El aislamiento de la habitación debe tener algún fallo ya que encontramos una rana y una lagartija dentro del baño en cada una de las noches que nos alojamos allí, al cabo de un rato con la puerta cerrada ya no estaban.

- l’emplacement, dans le centre d’Ella (2 min à pied de la rue des restos et bars) mais au calme. - grande chambre très confortable avec tout de qu’il faut : frigo, thé, eau ..beauté de la chambre et sens du détail (pour des chambres trois fois plus chères nous n’avons pas forcément eu ça dans d’autres hôtels du Sri Lanka) - petit déjeuner incroyable - gentillesse du personnel - et du patron notamment a été adorable avec nous et nous a emmenés en tour d’une journée, que nous avons bcp apprécié - service de nettoyage du linge pas cher et impeccable : cela nous a bien dépannés ! - le rapport qualité prix imbattable

We booked two rooms so had our own separate cottage. The rooms were clean. It had its own lawn. Very much next to the Main Street but being at steep, there was no noise from outside. The staff was nice and helpful.

The room at the ground floor didn’t have a carpet. The one above was carpeted. The door locks were not very great. Water was provided in refilled glass bottles which we were not comfortable with. The steep hill to the cottage was challenging to walk.

Attention pente raide pour monter a l hôtel, mais juste 100m Vue qui ne correspond pas tout a fait , un immeuble a été construit depuis... Moustiquaires qui nécessitent un bon lavage ...

Lugar muy bien ubicado. Cerca de la avenida principal, una zona con mucho ambiente con numerosos bares y restaurantes con muy buena pinta. El hotel tiene todo lo necesario y las habitaciones son amplias. El personal muy atento.

Location - very rustic cottages very close to the vibrant centre of Ella. You have to walk up an incline to get to the cottages but gives the feel of being in the bush rather than town centre. Beds very comfortable. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Lovely garden in front with chairs and hammocks to lounge in. Even had a visit from 2 mongooses, a squirrel, frog and sounds of different birds in garden area. Host and his staff very friendly.

No air conditioning but the room did have a large wall fan and ceiling fans which did the job. The shower/toilet room could do with a ventilation fan as it felt a bit damp.

Die Lage des Bungalow-Hotels ist perfekt. In der Nähe der Hauptstraße, aber abseits vom Lärm. Die Bungalows sind wunderschön und haben einen riesigen und spektakulären Garten. Geld wechseln können Sie im nur 100 Meter entfernten Supermarkt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Zu Fuß ist der Anstieg zum Hotel recht steil, mit dem Auto oder Tuk-Tuk ist das aber kein Problem und wer fit ist, kann ihn auch zu Fuß bewältigen. Wir haben es mehrmals am Tag gemacht. Die Warmwasserregulierung ist etwas “tricky”, aber wenn man weiß wie es geht, klappt es einwandfrei und der Wasserdruck ist sehr gut.

Very nice place well located (out of the noisy main road) and managed by a friendly staff. Very tasty breakfast !

One of our best stays in Sri Lanka. The rooms are very thoughtfully done. The shower was brilliant. Very close to the main street. Really loved it.
