Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet endroit absolument parfait. Situé à la périphérie de nuwara Eliya, on a pu profiter du calme et de la belle vue. Pas de soucis pour se rendre à nuwaraEliya, il suffit de marcher 10 min ou prendre un tuk tuk. Nous avons également pu savourer de délicieux et généreux repas. L'hôte parle parfaitement anglais et saura vous aider et conseiller si besoin et tout ça avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Nous avons également passé du temps avec l'hôte à cuisiner et avons pu jouer à un jeu Sri-lankais avec le fils. Foncez vous ne serez pas déçu, les chambres sont propres et l'eau est chaude!

L’emplacement, un peu excentré, est idéal pour être au calme. L’hôte est ADORABLE et accueillante. La vue est incroyable

Il fait assez froid à Nuwara Eliya, et comme partout au Sri Lanka, l’isolation n’est pas terrible… il fait donc assez froid dans la chambre, les couvertures fournies sont très efficaces !

This was the perfect "welcome to Sri Lanka experience". The hosts were the nicest, most accommodating and lovely people imaginable. Stunning views, clean and comfortable room and a short walk into the city centre while also being far enough to not be bothered by any noise at all. Lovely greeting with tea and delicious cake and the hosts were incredibly helpful in organizing the transfer to our next location as a tea estate and waterfall tour along the way.

The view from the accommodation was beautiful. The rooms are simple but very clean. The best part is the host. She took great care of us and organized a wonderful tour. She also gave us very helpful tips about using public transportation. We would definitely come back again.

One of the headlights was flickering and we couldn’t turn it off. We still slept very well.

Un super acceuil chez ce couple très agréable. Un emplacement de rêve dans les hauteurs de Nuwara Eliya . Tout était parfaitement propre, très bons dîners et petits déjeuners. Quand nous sommes arrivés, cela paraissait loin en touk touk, il y a un raccourci juste devant la maison, vous pouvez descendre en 5 minutes à pied au centre ville.

I had a wonderful stay at Zion in Nuwara Eliya. The place is very clean and peaceful, which made it perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The couple who own the property are incredibly kind and welcoming, they made I feel at home from the moment I arrived. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Hosts were exceptional, very helpful in every way possible especially when speaking to drivers who couldn't find their location. Everything was perfect with the accommodation, multi plug adaptor as far .as we could see fitting every standard, kettle and cups in room - no tea/coffee but you can purchase for a price. One thing to note for guests..we went through booking.com and payment was clearly stated to pay hosts in dollars..they prefer larger denomination of notes of USD 20 notes up...we didn't have these but was no problem as they gave us change back in smaller $`s from the big notes we had. Highly recommend this Homestay, but at night get a vehicle to get you back.

The owner was amazing. She was so nice and helpful with anything we needed. She cooks the best Sri Lankan food we ate in our trip. The rooms are big with hot shower. It is a little bit far from the city Center but there is a short cut which makes it only 10 minutes of walk to the city centre. If you’re in Nuwara Eliya you must stay in Zion guesthouse.

En Nuwara Eliya hace bastante frío y llueve la mayoría del tiempo en septiembre, no hay calefacción para poder secar los zapatos, y si lo quieres tienes que pagar 600Rp por día

Majitelé byli skvělý! Po domluvě připravili skvělou večeři i snídani. Zajistili nám i odvoz na Horton Plants. Domeček je v kopci nad centrem. Tuk tuk i auto nás tam zvládlo odvézt. Zkratkou je to kousek do města, ale v noci bych to nešla. Noci jsou opravdu chladné, ale k dispozici byla deka.

The small hotel is run by Anne, her husband Sumit and their son and daughter, who are all lovely and helpful people. The hotel is squeaky clean, the bed and linen are comfortable. All the rooms have a bird's eye view over Nurewaeliya, and I just loved watching the monkeys play around! Anne serves the BEST breakfast ever. Her tea is delicious. And I am a difficult person when it comes to food and tea! Hers was really the best I've had throughout my time in Sri Lanka. I had to work online (I interpreted during a 2-hour meeting) while I was there and wifi was solid. Location is great. A very pleasant 10-minute walk takes you to the center.

We felt very welcomed by the owners. The view was great and we really enjoyed sitting at the balcony. The breakfast wasn't included but was fantastic! We would really recommend the homestay.

This is a very welcoming and special place. Room was perfect, not cold at all. The house keepers have been incredibly gentle and warm. They gave us many tips to avoid spending much on transfers. They even lend me a jacket to enjoy the cool weather of the village, I really appreciate! View was incredible, perfect for a morning coffee with silence and fresh air. Anna and her family were great hosts. They have built several rooms onto their house, and the abundant breakfast is in the family dining room, so it is very much a family affair. Anna made sure we had everything we needed, including rain coats and umbrellas, and an extra blanket. The room we got had a great view of the town (be aware of monkeys if you leave the windows open. We found some of our stuff in the street. ) Everything worked perfectly and it was impeccably clean (but for the WIFI, see below), including a wonderful hot shower, that, believe it or not, we used! She got us a tuk-tuk in the morning, and gave us advice on what to do in the city and on restaurants. She was just great!

They struggled a bit with the WIFI. Their modem didn't work for us, so we had to rely on our own data.

The room was maintained well despite it was raining most of the time. The host provided warm jackets and bedsheets. Check-in and check-out were really quick. Local tuk-tuk drivers know this place really well. There is a shortcut that we can use to reach the town by walking. Overall value for money.

Breakfast not included. Location a bit far out, there is a shortcut however right out front. Highly recommend Coffee bar and Dushan's kitchen. Google location, both walking distance. Tuk tuk from Nanu Oya should cost you around 1500, use pickme app A lovely stay, highly recommended.

Ann warmly welcomed us with tea and cake, which was very nice. The bedroom as well as the bathroom were spacious and clean. It is a bit away from the center but its only a 10 min walk down. Breakfast was good and inkluded fruits and sweet Sri Lankan pancakes.

We missed having a rack or some hooks to hang some clothes on.

We felt very much at home at Zion. The host welcomed us with tea and sweets and took such great care of us! The laundry was done overnight and she gave us extra blankets. I was also allowed to borrow Charlie and the Chocolate Factory from Roald Dahl from her son during our stay. In addition, the breakfast and dinner were delicious! The room is spacious and comfortable, with an amazing view over Nuwara Eliya. Thank you for the great care! :) I would recommend this lovely homestay to everybody!! Ps. I would also recommend walking stage 10 (15 km) and 11 (13 km) of the Pekoe trail through the Horton Plains. The location is up a hill but is walkable to and from town. It didn’t bother me but you may want to get a tuk tuk on the way home.

Best balcony view of the city. The hosts are so educated and give all the information you need in the city, they can arrange one day tour with Tuk Tuk of the tea plantation as well. We have a excellent breakfast their also.

Zion is a wonderful place to stay whilst visiting Nuwara Elija. The rooms are simple and comfortable, the price is more than competitive, and the host is very lovely and helpful. We got a delicious cup of tea on arrival, and she was able to help with organising a few trips for us (Hortons National Park, tea factory, etc), all at a good price (better than we could have negotiated!). Would recommend.

Overlooking beautiful Nuwara Eliya, this homestay is our highlight of our journey through Sri Lanka! The host Ann is so lovely and accommodating, offering extra blankets, umbrellas, even rain jackets, and tea on arrival! The breakfast was delicious and a good price. The room we stayed was warm, very clean, with a super comfortable bed. The location is great, only a short 10 minute walk into town! Ann was also so helpful in organising transport for us, especially when the trains weren’t running due to landslides. It rained the entire time we stayed here and is still our favourite accomodation and we wish we could stay longer! We could not recommend this homestay more, please stay here if you’re visiting Nuwara Eliya! Thank you for such a lovely experience 😊

We had the best stay in Zion! Ann and her husband are extremely kind and helpfull. They spoke very good english and we had some really nice conversations with them. On top of that, the food is super delicious. The room is spacious and clean. We felt really welcome and would recommend everyone to stay here. It is around a 10 minute walk from the center but still far enough that is quiet and peacefull.

I had an amazing two-night stay at Zion, nestled in the beautiful mountains of Nuwara Eliya, just 2km from the city center. The room offered breathtaking views of the mountains, city, and nearby temple, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The room was not only soundproof but also incredibly comfortable with a cozy bed. The extra blankets provided ensured I stayed warm during the cool nights, and the adjustable hot water shower was the best I've ever experienced! The room was well-equipped with an electric kettle, two tea cups, spoons, and even a hair dryer. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like two towels, two tables, and two chairs, making the stay very comfortable. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing a rain jacket and umbrella for my outdoor excursions. They also arranged PickMe services easily, so I could explore nearby attractions like Ambewela New Zealand Farm, Piduruthalagala, and Lover’s Leaps without any hassle. I highly recommend Zion for anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya. It's a safe, welcoming place with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and I'll definitely be coming back!

The family we stayed with were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. We had a great home cooked meal! The rooms were clean and well insulated. They stayed cool when it was warm and were snug when the temperature dropped. The location was about a 15 minute walk from town which suited us just fine.

Location is really handy - there’s some steps that take you right into town, takes about ten minutes. The hosts were so kind and warm, and prepared a really delicious breakfast for us, offering more of everything if we had any room left. The rooms are basic but have everything you need. The roof terrace is beautiful to catch the sunset on too!

The shower has great pressure but didn’t keep its temperature so would go very hot and then very cold which was a bit frustrating. And the wifi doesn’t stretch to the rooms which was a bit annoying but is not the end of the world at all.
