Reviewed Jul 20, 2026The stay at Equestre was one of the best we have had so far, the only thing we regret is not booking our stay for longer. The accommodation is beautiful, neat and the owner is well prepared- from plugs to coffee to snacks and anything else you could imagine needing. The breakfast was delicious and made fresh so no cold buffet food to be seen here!

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026It's like visiting a second home where all you need to remember is your toothbrush. Very quiet and calming environment where that makes one leave feeling clear-headed and refreshed, and longing for a longer stay. It's clear that the hosts have put a lot of thought into their business and consistently deliver to meet and exceed expectations. They're also really friendly while professional and are mindful to remember each individual by name - even seemingly minor details of previous stays. Thank you once again for an amazing stay.
The gown wasn’t something I felt entirely comfortable in, but that’s just a personal detail in an otherwise exceptional stay.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026The hosts were superb. Nothing was too big an ask for Hewlett and Mary-Anne. A little bit outside the city, so it really feels like you're in the country, but still easy to get ubers into town, and convenient to the N3.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026The rooms are very clean, spacious and had all the essentials and more! It was the perfect place for our group of 9. The place is quiet and peaceful. My 5 year old daughter particularly loved checking out the beautiful horses in the nearby stable. We had a very warm welcome from Hue. He gave us all the important information prior to arrival and he was amazing as a host. Definitely value for money.

We had booked a family room for the weekend as I was there with my wife and two daughters. All pictures of family rooms on the website show two separate sleeping rooms, however upon arrival we were booked into a standard suite with all beds in an open plan room with no privacy.

Our room was a very good size, beds were so comfy and we were supplied with milk and coffee.
