We had a truly wonderful time at Plettenberg View. The guesthouse was recommended to us, and it lived up to all our expectations. We especially appreciated our hosts Cherry and Andrew. They were both very friendly and helpful and assisted us with any questions or concerns. Breakfast was freshly prepared every day and was delicious. A highlight of the guesthouse was the beautiful view. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was a fantastic experience, and we really enjoyed our stay. We have absolutely no complaints about the accommodation and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Many thanks again to Cherry and Andrew for being such wonderful hosts!

Wir würden die hervorragenden Detailbeschreibungen nur wiederholen. Alles, Unterkunft, Gastgeber, Lage, Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis unglaublich gut und herzlich. Wenn wir mal wieder in Plettenberg Bay sein sollten, dann hier. Mobil natürlich. Fazit: Wer in Plettenberg Bay ist, sollte hier einkehren. Uns haben die durchweg guten Bewertungen auch neugierig gemacht, und wir überzeugen und gerne selbst von beschriebenen Umständen. Deshalb, ganz klar eine Empfehlung.

Falls Sie Wurst und/oder Käse beim Frühstück vermissen oder den Hinweis darauf auf der Frühstückskarte übersehen: Dieses wird auf Wunsch an den Tisch gebracht. Die Menge war dann etwas übersichtlich, aber ruhig nachfragen, auch wiederholt. Es wird nachgereicht. Besser, als wenn diese zu kühlenden Sachen hinter ungenutzt weggeworfen würden. Dieser Hinweis für Leute wie meine Frau, der es zunächst etwas peinlich ist, nachzufragen. Aber es war absolut kein Problem.

Alles war wunderbar. Großartige Gastgeber, die uns sehr wertvolle Tips für den Aufenthalt gegeben haben. Es hat an nichts gefehlt in dieser wunderbaren perfekt sauberen Unterkunft. Dazu hat man noch einen tollen Blick auf das Meer.

Our hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with access to the swimming pool and balcony with lovely views. The shared living room was pleasant, and the house had plenty of tasteful art. Breakfast was very good.

The enclosed on-site car parking was fine, but access was a little difficult.

Beautiful property, exquisite views. Our hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful and a joy to chat to. Our room was modern, spotless and had everything we could have possibly required. Breakfast was superb, with a wide choice; continental, cooked. Andrew had previously Whatsapped a list of restaurants and Cherry gave recommendations as to where I could shop. Our 1 regret was that we couldn't stay for longer! Thank you Andrew & Cherry and every good wish to you both.

Plettenberg View has a great view from the terraces to the sea and Robberg Island (especially from the upper terrace). The hosts were very friendly and prepared delicious breakfast.

We loved everything about our stay. Andrew and Cherry (A&C) are wonderful, caring, loving hosts. I enjoyed the gluten-free french toast in the morning. Thank you. The view is fantastic. A&C suggested really good restaurants. Unfortunately, we were only able to try two due to time constraints. Amelia’s and Emily Moon are a must visit and must book way in advance. Included a sunset view of Emily Moon in the photos. Next time, we’ll try the others - The Fat Fish and Enrico’s. A&C also suggested Cathedral Rock which could only be visited during the low tide. It was a short hike and definitely worth a visit.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the guesthouse in Plettenberg! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Cherry and Andrew, who truly made our visit exceptional. They were incredibly attentive and supported us with everything we needed – from booking restaurants, even managing to secure us a table at a fully booked place, to giving us fantastic tips about the area. Their local knowledge and genuine kindness made every day of our stay even better. Die Lage zwischen der Robberg Halbinsel und der Stadt genau richtig, leckeres Frühstück auf sonniger Terrasse mit Meerblick, hilfreiche Tips für Ausflüge und tägliche Unterstützung bei der Wahl und Buchung der Restaurants. Die Zimmer sehr hochwertig ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht, sehr hell, aber auch nachts gut abzudunkeln, sehr gute Betten/Dusche, der Blick von den Terrassen aufs Meer, den Pool und den sehr gepflegten Garten. Die Gastgeber sind ganz besonders freundlich und hilfsbereit, hatten gute Tips für Ausflüge und haben sogar Restaurants für uns reserviert. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt, wie als Gast in einer privaten Villa. Besser geht es nicht!

This is an exceptional B&B with a warm welcome from the owners who made us feel very much at home. We particularly enjoyed our “lookout room” which was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the bay. There was great attention to detail with serving a great breakfast and personally looking after us. We particularly appreciated the comfortable bed, pillows and crisp white cotton bedding which helped us sleep really well indeed. Highly recommended. Thank you for having us.

We had the most delightful stay! Cherry and Andrew were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we experienced the best of Plettenberg Bay. They are very passionate hosts and have an eye for small details - from the state of their rooms, the garden/pool to the breakfast they serve. Their hospitality was truly remarkable, and we'll certainly be back!

Cherry and Andrew were exceptional hosts, probably the best we've experienced anywhere. They are hands-on and it shows. Property is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. Room was a good size with plenty of built in cupboard space. Lovely views out to sea and towards the Robberg Peninsula. Breakfast was basic, but more than adequate and freshly cooked to order. The freshly baked bread each morning was a real treat.

Restaurants in Plett are plentiful, but fully booked every night, even out of season. The hosts offer to book for you. Make use of the offer, as soon as you arrive, and don't procrastinate like us !

But what makes this place exceptional and really stand out is the warmth of the hosts, Cherry and Andrew. They could not have done more for us; excellent communication before and during our stay, greeting us warmly on arrival, remembering our breakfast preferences day-to-day, recommending days out & places to eat, along with booking everything for us including restaurants, taxis and excursions...their 5* hospitality would be impossible to beat.
