Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Top of the line B&B in Cong. Very homey and atmosphere. Mary and Gerry, our hosts and owners of the property were personable and provided quaint, traditional Irish good nature. We stayed at multiple locations in Ireland, This was the most Western friendly atmosphere we experienced. I have already recommended Nymph Field House to my family and friends.

A soli 10 minuti a piedi si è a Cong, delizioso villaggio molto ben tenuto. Siamo stati benissimo e consigliamo a tutti un soggiorno da Mary!

Douche pas pratique. Draps tâchés. Nous avons été prévenus à posteriori qu'une coupure d'électricité allait avoir lieu toute la journée. Je n'ai donc pas pu me sécher les cheveux. J'aurais apprécié le savoir lors du check in.

She made a lovely breakfast in the morning too. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. I really enjoyed my night stay there and will definitely look to stay again next time i visit Cong. Thank you Mary!

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Sehr freundliche Begrüßung mit Tee und Keksen, Zimmer im zweiten Stock hatte eine schöne Größe, Parken war auf dem Gelände möglich. Frühstück war frisch zubereitet und lecker. Cong konnte man von dort zu Fuß erreichen.

Reviewed Jun 25, 2026Wir wurden bereits bei der Begrüßung mit Kaffee und Keksen bewirtet. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und super schön möbliert. es gab viel Ablageplatz. Die Betten waren sehr gut und wir haben auf Anfrage auch 2 Decken erhalten, da wir mit einer für 2 nicht klar kommen. Das Frühstück war ganz frisch und super umfangreich mit allem was man braucht. Die Lage auch sehr schön außerhalb und doch nahe an allem.
Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war sehr niedrig und das Wasser nicht sehr warm. Der Duschkopf leider nicht abnehmbar.

Breakfast was truly amazing with home baking and a great choice. A lovely walk down into Cong and plenty of walking nearby and great places to visit. A real gem. We didn’t want to leave.

Reviewed Apr 25, 2026Our hosts were fantastic! Mary and Gerry were most accommodating with our late arrival, and served an excellent breakfast! The bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable, and the breakfast room was lovely. Highly recommend it, and would stay again if in the area.
The bedrooms being upstairs posed a problem for us to carry the suitcases up, but Gerry very kindly gave us a hand.

Schwierig zu sagen, da due Zimmereinrichtung immer eine Geschmacksfrage ist... und nicht so ganz mein persönlicher Fall war, doch dafür gibt es ja Fotos und es ist nicht so wichtig...

Mary prepared a wonderful cooked Irish full breakfast and also had some great alternative choices, mine being scrambled egg and smoked salmon ... plantiful. We were also sent away with fresh baked scones for the road. Beautiful B&B. Very nicely kept.

Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und haben alles, was es braucht. Das Frühstück war eins der besten auf unserer Reise sowohl das full irish, dass für uns zubereitet wurde als auch das weitere Angebot von Scones, über Croissants und Müsli waren außergewöhnlich für ein B&B. Wir würden wieder kommen, wenn wir in der Gegend sind. Nette Wanderung um die alte Abbey und den Fluss herum (Turm nicht auslassen, wir konnten hochgehen) sowie das Stadtzentrum sind fußläufig zu erreichen.
