Das Bed&Breakfast ist im Vergleich recht günstig. Es ist in der Nähe von Cong, allerdings läuft man zum Dorf selbst noch eine Weile. Die Unterkunft ist voll auf den Film "The quiet man" ausgerichtet, mit Zitaten, Postern und Memorabilia. Die Brücke aus dem Film ist auf der Rückseite des Hauses nachgebaut. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und es gab auch eine vegetarische Option! Parken war problemlos direkt am Haus möglich.

Die Zimmer sind recht hellhörig. Nachts konnten wir den Nachbarn auf der einen Seite schnarchen hören, morgens hat uns die Familie auf der anderen Seite geweckt.

The location is perfect, 2 minute drive to cong. The decor is beautiful too. Breakfast was lovely and the owners are such sweet people! Lovely little place and I will 100% be coming back!

Irish breakfast in particular was wonderful. My partner has coeliac disease and was catered to by the friendly and hospitable staff. Room was like the photos and very clean.

Le petit déjeuner était TOP 👍 La chambre offre un confort standard, mais le personnel est le matin aux petits soins pour compenser et vous servir un super Irish breakfast du tonnerre !

La nostra stanza era piuttosto umida,sotto al livello strada, nella parte posteriore dell'edificio.

L'intégralité des prestations ainsi que l'emplacement : le merveilleux accueil de tout le personnel ainsi que leur professionnalisme, les équipements : chambre bellle et confortable avec des lits refaits chaque jour, sanitaires propres et spacieux, beauté du site, le calme et la sérénité, la gentillesse et l'humour du patron. Les petits déjeuners remarquables. Le village de Cong charmante, emprunte du passage de John Wayne.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Alles war rundum super. Das Zimmer war extrem sauber und sehr gemütlich. Auch das Frühstück war hervorragend und lecker. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Ein sehr schönes Zimmer in einer herrlichen Umgebung mit traumhaftem Blick. Kleiner Kühlschrank ist vorhanden. Das Frühstück ist super.Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Eigentümer.

De gastheer was heel joviaal en complimenten aan de keuken voor het lekkere ontbijt. (Het ontbijt bestaat uit verschillende opties (bv. full Irish breakfast, omelet,...) en brood, muesli,... ) De kamer en badkamer zijn netjes . Het pension is goed gelegen om allerlei uitstappen te doen.

Breakfast was great, staff excellent and friendly. All very professional. We had a great time in Cong fur a wedding. You could walk into cong in 15 minutes through the beautiful ashford castle grounds.

For a b&b it was perfect - what you would expect and want. Nice choice ones breakfast, comfortable bed, soft sheets and clean plus staff lovely x

The room was fine, the TV very small, bed was comfortable, room a bit smaller than I had imagined. It was quiet.

The breakfast was terrible. Only got offered over-cooked scrambled egg with either sausage or bacon and they called it a 'full Irish'. I couldn't eat mine, the egg was awful.There were breads and cereals etc which were fine. Just a bit of a joke with the 'full Irish' nonsense. I had been looking forward to a really good, hearty breakfast, but we were so disappointed. The whole building seemed a bit deserted and not homely. I'm afraid I wouldn't really recommend it. The people were friendly though and it was convenient for one night.

My only problem was the bathroom sink faucets only came out about an inch. Hard to get your hands under the water.

Le Bed & Breakfast est très bien localisé, à cinq minutes en voiture de Cong. Le personnel est particulièrement gentil, il faut le souligner ! Le petit déjeuner du matin est copieux et familial. Bref, c'est une très bonne adresse sur la route du Connemara (nous avons rejoint le point de départ de la randonnée de Diamond Hill en 1h15 de voiture).

L’accueil exceptionnel de Gerry et Marguet 💕 (la graaaaande cafetière de Gerry très plaisantin 😉😂) L’emplacement est idéal , au calme, légèrement écarté d’un magnifique petit village où rien ne manque (restaurants, balades bucoliques tracées dans un grand parc, balades en bateaux etc…)

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights during our trip to Ireland and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You are short distance to restaurants and attractions and the hosts are more than willing to provide suggestions to make your stay memorable.The accommodations were fantastic and the hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome. You are not treated as a guest but as a part of their family. Highly recommend this place.

There is nothing we did not like about this place.

We loved our stay at Michaeleen's! When we arrived, there were helpful instructions at the door about how to check-in (there are two properties, one on either side of the street--the B&B is on one side, and check-in is just across the street at the campground office), and the young woman at the check-in counter was extremely helpful in getting us sorted with our room. The B&B is family-run, and everyone that we met there was wonderful and friendly! The B&B itself is well maintained and in a very quiet area, and while there were other guests on our floor, we never heard anyone else through the walls, so we were able to have a wonderful night sleep. Our room was well appointed, with extremely comfortable beds and a great bathroom! A full Irish breakfast is served downstairs in the morning in a dining room that is a tribute to The Quiet Man, with the film's gorgeous score playing softly in the background and memoribilia on the walls, including a table full of thank-you cards and postcards from past visitors to the B&B, which was a really lovely touch. Breakfast was also wonderful and also includes continental options in addition to the aforementioned Irish breakfast. The B&B is also only about a 15-minute walk away from the village of Cong, and the walk itself is peaceful, with great scenery to admire along the way. We would definitely return to Michaeleen's if/when we return to Cong in the future!
