The rooms are simple but clean and have everything you need. The hotel is located in a quiet area, within a reasonable walking distance from the center. Breakfast was varied, plentiful, and very good. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay.

There are some insects that can get into the bathroom, but this seems to be part of staying in such a natural setting, and the mosquito net over the bed works very well. The rooms are a little dated.

Parfait. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, le meilleur de tout notre séjour. ( et il varie tous les jours) L’emplacement est top, chambre propre. Possibilité de louer un scooter. Nous devions rester 3 nuits nous avons prolongé jusqu’à 5 nuits. Les gérants sont adorables. Je recommande sans hésiter !!

המקום היה שקט ונעים. נקי. המיטות היו סופר נוחות. קרוב למספר מסעדות ממש שוות ומרחק הליכה קצר מרחוב הראשי. הנוף היה משגע. היו 3 לילות בלבד.

בשעות מסוימות האינטרנט היה חלש מאוד. עם שני מתבגרים זה היה מאתגר.

Très bon acceuil. Logement propre et confortable avec une terrasse sympa et très bien situé au calme et proche du centre. Super petit déjeuner. Merci beaucoup à l'hôte de nous avoir amené jusqu'à la gare avec son véhicule.

La sala da pranzo con il camino acceso e la cena cucinata dalla mamma.

Purtroppo essendo a ridosso della montagna e non avendo nessun tipo di riscaldamento se non il camino in sala da pranzo, le camere sono molto umide e quelle al piano terra odoravano di muffa complice anche la pioggia che in quella cittadina è una costante.

Sehr schönes Homestay. Wir fanden die Lage, etwas abseits, sehr gut. Trotzdem war alles fußlãufig erreichbar. Auch vom Bahnhof sind wir gelaufen. Am Morgen konnten wir die Affen und das Riesenhörnchen beobachten.

Sehr schöne eigene Terrasse zum Entspannen und Tiere beobachten (Affen, "Hörnchen", Vögel), sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Familie, sehr sauber, ruhig, leckeres Frühstück, gute Lage zum Zentrum, Little Adams Peak, 9 Arches Bridge. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist ok, nur die letzten 20 Meter sind für Autos oder TukTuks mit Gepäck schwierig. Die Katzen der Familie sind süß. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Es wurde täglich etwas anderes angeboten, wodurch es abwechslungsreich war.

Bellissima guesthouse a 2 passi letteralmente dalla strada principale ma lontana dalla confusione e dai rumori. Immersa nella natura, la camera molto comoda con una bellissima veranda affacciata sul verde. Chanaka è stato gentilissimo e super accogliente, ci ha supportato in tutto (consigli, prenotazioni tuk tuk ecc). Colazione spettacolare. Struttura molto pulita. Lo consiglio al 100%!

I had a wonderful three-night stay at this lovely homestay in the beautiful hills near Ella, run by a very kind family. Upon arrival they immediately greeted me with a delicious tea. The breakfast was very filling and delicious. The location is ideal, a close walk from the town but sufficiently far to be away from the noise of the town.

Clean room with lovely terrace, overlooking trees with birds and occasional monkey family, delicious breakfast and amazing owners, that helped me organise everything I needed. I recommend this place and if I come back to Ella, I would definitely stay in Littleadems View!

I loved the location. It's a few minutes of walking from the center, peaceful, full of wildlife. It has a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy even when it's raining. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was very kind.

There were little troubles with electricity (it was raining a lot) and hot water in the shower, but once we contacted the owners, they solved it immediately. It was a little damp in the room - it might be because it was raining a lot before we arrived and during our arrival.

The very crowded part of Ella is about a 10-minute walk from the accommodation. However, the location is very quiet. The family is lovely and prepares a delicious breakfast. The room was clean, but there was a smell of a combination of cleaning products and dampness. Therefore, we kept the windows open at night. Then it was fine.

The room and the family are nice. It takes a 15 minute walk to the train station. The breakfast on the balcony is really good! I would recommend staying here.

Nice location about a 15 minute walk to the main centre but quiet. Owners were really helpful and attentive. Plenty of wildlife including monkeys. Breakfast was excellent. Other reviews mention the hot water. Pressure was a little low (but it's gravity fed so will be) but the water was hot but took a while to come through. Thoroughly recommend.

Although not the wet season there had been lots of rain and the room was a little musty. TBH with the level of humidity I think all properties would be the same

The room was lovely, overlooking nature and featuring a private terrace. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed the location being a 10 min walk away from the busy Ella centre.

Having only cold water wasn’t the most convenient- it was quite chilly when I visited Ella and I didn’t take a shower for a bit because it was simply too cold!

The hostess was a lovely woman who made an excellent breakfast. The place was simple and clean. I had a small porch with a great view into the forest. Some of the Hornbill birds roosted right outside the door. On the front side of the house is a view of the 2 main peaks of Ella. There was excellent bird life all around. There was a great cooking class right around the corner, as well. Being in the forest you were about a 10-15 minute walk into main Ella.

The road into the guest house was a bit rough. Not all vehicles can get in. The final steps are up a steep hill which is not the easiest to navigate.

A lovely family-run accommodation just a short walk away from Ella center. The breakfast was stunning and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure I am fed on my too early departure. The atmosphere in the middle of nature and accompanied by birdsong was very peaceful.

The homestay has a beautiful garden and a very cosy veranda with a great view at a green scenery. The location is perfect, just some 500m from the center, but also a hike to little Adams peak or the nine arch bridge will take only 30-60 minutes. The host family is very friendly and welcoming and provides a very tasty breakfast in the morning. Definitely a great place to stay in Ella!

Great, calm location close to the center and the wonderful family that owns the place. We had a beautiful small terrace in front of our room where we were eating amazing breakfast. Our room was small but very clean and it was enough for our needs. If you need any help with laundry, you have questions about connection to other locations or anythig else don’t hesitate to ask the owner, he will help you. Strongly recommended!

Nice Homestay, out of the busy area, but just a short walk away. We were there for hiking and little Adam’s peak and Ella Rock, are nearby or with a good 2+ hour hike away. Host were nice, helpful and provided us with a very nice breakfast.

The place did lack some facilities. The shower was terrible, it barely worked and there is no AC at the accomodation.

Prinita and Chanika were really welcoming, we enjoyed a nice pot of tea on arrival . We had a small room with a double bed and mosquito net a fridge, a tall boy with mirror and hanging space. There’s no AC, but we did have a fan, it’s warm now it’s April, so the room was manageable after sunset. We needed the fan to run all night but it was on a timer so I had to keep waking up to put it on for another hour. The bathroom was functional. There was a little hot water but not a lot however as the weather is so warm, it doesn’t really make a difference. The location of the property is on a hillside, so you have a few uphill downhill walks to access or leave the property. We thought this was more than worth it for the views alone, never mind feeling like we were living in the jungle. We chose to spend a few hours in the afternoons on the balcony, listening to the sounds of the jungle, very relaxing. The breakfast consisted of an egg dish, pancakes, bread, a large plate of fresh fruit, each, freshly squeezed juice, and a teapot of tea. A good meal to start the day. We would recommend this Homestay.

The family hosting were lovely and always haooy to help with arranging day trips/taxis. The location giving you a little taste of the jungle whilst still being in the city. We even had a monkey pass by at breakfast!

The room STINKS 😷. Everything else that I did not like does not matter. Unless they get rid of that smell, you should not stay in this place. I feel sorry for the family as they seem super nice but giving a 10 to this property is a crime (I have done backpacking for 10 years, not a fancy traveler).

Beautiful house in the garden, large and nice room, bathroom also ok. Very nice and helpful owners, good breakfast. There is no air conditioning, but there is a fan, which is enough because it is cooler in the mountains.

The breakfast was just amazing!! Everything was very tasty and the portions were more than enough. The room was clean and quiet so I really enjoyed my stay here! The owner was so nice he even drive me to bus station early morning which was a big help!

A beautiful location, away from the traffic and tourist traps, but just a short walk from town. The terrace is a delightful garden of native plants. And the hosts are friendly, knowledgeable people, providing a filling, nutritious breakfast. Highly recommended!

I liked everything

Lovely room and great location. Short walk to town, although it is quite steep. We were lucky enough to see monkeys as we ate our breakfast.

Note: we stayed at Dream View and NOT Littleadems - when we arrived we were told that Littleadems was closed and they offered to take us to another place that the family also ran. Surprisingly though, this turned out to be amazing! It was called Dream View and in our opinion it was even better than what we'd booked. The breakfast was an epic mix of fruit, hoppers, eggs, tea, etc. The balcony and view was stunning- i don't think we found a better view anywhere we went during our entire time in Ella. Dream View and the people running both guesthouses were absolutely wonderful.
