Ella Mount Relax Cottage

The view from our room was fantastic, the room was comfortable and had air conditioning. There room was a short tuk tuk ride from the centre of town but well away from all the noise. It was cheap and easy to get a tuk tuk. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of it, the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Es war super super schön. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt das wir um einen Tag verlängert haben. Bei uns hat es Nachnittags geregnet und wir konnten aus dem Bett raus den Regen beobachten. Ein Traum

Je to jedna z nejlepsich lokalit v Elle, blizko 9 Arch Bridge i Little Adam’s peak. Nekrasnejsi vyhledy primo na Ella Rock a do udoli. Na manazera se da spolehnout a vse zaridi, napr. tuk tuky. Radi se tu vracime.

Het uitzicht is echt fantastisch! En de cottage was brand schoon, had een heerlijke douche, goed bed en een heel leuk zitje voor.

De accommodatie ligt iets hoger in de bergen. Om het te bereiken moet je een heel stijl pad omhoog. Wij vonden dit echter geen probleem, aangezien we een eigen tuktuk hadden. Mocht je geen eigen vervoer hebben, kan ik me voorstellen dat het een aardige klim is.

Es war atemberaubend! Die Aussicht vom Cottage 1 ist ein absolutes Highlight. Wir wurden herzlichst empfangen. Das Cottage war sehr sauber und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Frühstück ist gut und man läuft nur wenige Minuten in die Stadt. Auf der Terasse haben wir Mangusten gesehen, welche interssante Tiere sind.

Complesso di camere in casette dislocate su una collina (la nostra era in una struttura indipendente ed autonoma) tutte affacciate su una vallata maestosa con una vista ... disarmante. Patio da totale abbandono dei sensi. Non c'era la TV nel nostro alloggio (scelta fantastica dei proprietari). Colazione completa ed eccellente, in una sala aperta sulla natura circostante. Location altamente consigliabile a tutti (anche i bambini ameranno scoiattoli e volatili che interagiscono senza fastidio alcuno).

La breve distanza da percorrere per raggiungere la via principale di Ella, quella con le attrazioni, è un pò dissestata e faticante (non lunga, ma ci sono sali e scendi in un tragitto per buoni tratti non illuminato). Ma non è nulla in confronto a cosa c'è da vivere in questo posto fantastico.

La vue est magnifique et l'hôtel est très bien placé. Le petit déjeuner était très bon.

La salle de bain

Hotel conforme aux photos avec une très belle vue en pleine nature, proche de Ella et des possibilités de rando. Des grandes baies vitrées dans la chambre sur la nature. Hotel simple, parfait pour une immersion.

Camas comodas, buenas vistas desde el balcon, desayuno en cantidad, esta un poco alejado del centro pero se agradece porque es un lugar tranquilo

No nos gustó que nos obligaran a pagar en efectivo, ya que es un sitio más caro y nos dejó casi sin dinero, si tienes límite para sacar dinero en cajero como teníamos nosotras hay que tenerlo en cuenta. Si tuviera piscina seria ideal.

Super schöne Lage. Man ist schnell aus der Stadt dort und bekommt den ganzen Trubel nicht mit. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich gewesen und auch das Frühstück vollkommen in Ordnung.

Amazing view of the mountains from where you eat breakfast and also the bedroom window. The breakfast is exceptional. They made a decorative design on the bed for our honeymoon.

There's no A/C.

Ella was our first stop in SL. The location of the property was great. A short walk via a path into the main street. The views down the valley were wonderful from our room/bed. Good shower & excellent to have a fridge. Breakfast’s yummy & filling. Staff friendly & helpful. Squirrels & birdlife a joy & interesting to watch. We arrived late & was too tired to go out. There is a restaurant across the path that we ate at & the food was delicious.

Der wunderschöne Ausblick vom Balkon und der Frühstücksterrasse. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wie hatten als Unterkunft eine der Hütten, das Badezimmer war sehr einfach aber der Ausblick war traumhaft. Gutes Frühstück

Die Straße zum Hotel ist eine kleine Seitenstraße die Nachts unbeleuchtet ist. Wer sich unsicher ist, kann sich aber auch mit dem Tuktuk fahren lassen.

The best view in the whole of Ella. Our room looked straight out over Ella Rock and Ella Gap. Very friendly staff with a great breakfast.

Comme dans un petit chalet ! La vue était incroyable et la propreté parfaite ! Grande douche vitrée dans la salle de bain et bcp de couverture fournir pour un lit top confort. Possible de déjeuner sur place mais je n’ai pas essayé. Il y a une terrasse avec des tables et encore une vue de fou ! eau filtrée fournie aussi. Petit paradis de tranquille en nature à 5-6 minutes de marche des rues principales ( avec une pente mais ça vaut l’effort )

Un petit coin de paradis! Le cottage est confortable, les équipements sont modernes (salle de bains ultra confortable) et la vue depuis le petit balcon est tout simplement sublime! Calme total. Un petit sentier mène au centre ville en quelques minutes à pieds. Tout proche d'Adam's Peak et du 9 Arch bridge. Les petits-déjeuners sont agréables sur la terrasse commune. Nous recommandons à 100%!

De ligging was top! Midden in de natuur met zicht op Ella Rock. Het ontbijt was lekker en het personeel vriendelijk. Ze waren ook heel behulpzaam.

Staff was courteous and helpful, breakfast was 4 course and lavish, room had amazing views and was very comfortable.

Path leading to hotel is very narrow and dark in the night, we hope some street lamps are installed in future. No safe, no TV....

A beautiful location. The room was ideal for us as a family of four. Breakfast was delicious.

The bathroom. It is small and not that clean

Wunderschöne Aussicht. Bequeme und saubere Betten. Leckeres Frühstück. Gute Lage, fast alles Fußläufig erreichbar.

Im Bad hat es leider sehr muffig gerochen und die Wände waren schimmelig. Es gab leider keinen Abzieher so das nach dem Duschen das ganze Bad überflutet war.

Emplacement idéal

Der Ausblick vom Zimmer war atemberaubend schön. Das Zimmer an sich war geräumig (wir hatten ein Dreibettzimmer zu zweit). Dort gab es einen Kühlschrank, Fön und Klima, alles was man braucht. Das Frühstück war gut, es gab Standard Sri lankisches Frühstück. Das Personal war sehr nett, sie haben uns am Ende als wir abgereist sind auch noch Wasser mitgegeben.

Das Bad sollte wirklich modernisiert werden, es war leider Schimmel an den Wänden. Insgesamt roch es in dem Zimmer vor allem nach Regen oder Duschen feucht. An einem Abend war es leider sehr laut weil da Gäste ne Party auf der Terrasse wo das Frühstück stattfindet gemacht haben, dass wir irgendwann rausgehen mussten und sie bitten mussten, die Musik leiser zu machen. Aber da können die Besitzer natürlich nichts für. Insgesamt haben wir uns aber trotzdem wohl gefühlt.

Sie war super chramant mit den Häuschen. Man ist irgendwie im Dschungel und irgendwie auch nicht.

L’établissement bénéficie d’une vue extraordinaire (et je pèse mes mots). Le personnel est très sympathique, à l’écoute et le petit déjeuner est très complet.

La salle de bain est à refaire de notre point de vu et l’établissement est à 15min à pied du centre avec du dénivelé (a noter pour les familles).

The view from the room was stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful with any requests that we had. The location is quite close to the Ella main strip.

Unfortunately the bathroom was quite dated and mouldy.

Beautiful little cabin with amazing valley and mountain views; peaceful but only a 5 minute walk to the main tourist area of Ella. The breakfast was fantastic

Very cute, simple cottage with fab views of Little Adam Peak and Ella Rock and the misty valley between. Great variety of birds calling in the morning. Private, quiet and very good value. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.

This place was really beautiful with incredible views and very welcoming staff. Our room was very private and the terrace had views right down the valley which were great for sunrise in particularly. Also provided a very good breakfast.

Petite chambre un peu sommaire avec terrasse et belle vue. Petit déjeuner satisfaisant également avec vue sur la vallée. Bon accueil et personnel serviable qui nous a loué un tuktuk pour rejoindre la rue principale avec nos valises.

We kregen bij aankomst een welkomstdrankje van het hele vriendelijke personeel. Het ontbijt was erg goed en het terras heeft werkelijk een prachtig uitzicht. De kamer was prettig, met eenzelfde schitterende uitzicht en schoon. Locatie ook prima, op loopafstand van het centrum en de Ella Rock trail.

Niks. Wij hadden een eigen TukTuk, maar misschien is het om te lopen een klein stukje pittige omhoog.

We booked the big family room because it was the only one available, but we loved it. The views are incredible and it's quiet and private. The hotel also gave us the contact of a very good local driver to arrange our transfers before arriving. Everyday we enjoyed the breakfast with the amazing view over the valley and Ella Rock. The town center is just 5 min walking away. Little Adam's Peak and the Nine Arches Bridge are also in walking distance.

Location, breakfast, cleanliness and the view

No AC, the ceiling fans provided no relief from the heat. Almost no hot water, small bathroom with no counter space on the sink, very limited amenities (not even a soap dish). They do not accept credit cards. Cash only

I mean that VIEW! If you're booking this space, it's for that reason alone. The view is incredible. The room is simple, it does the job. Comfy enough bed. Simple and functional wifi and mini fridge. But the room has all glass facing the mountains and my room (Cabin 1) had a surprisingly private porch area as well! Really felt totally within the nature of Ella. Gorgeous!

My only complaint really is that they only take cash payment, which is a headache given the amount you might need to withdraw from an ATM if you're staying for multiple nights. If you don't mind that (or if they get a card machine) then it's a 10/10 easily!

Не комфортные условия санузла. Долго не уходила вода в раковине, не хватало полотенец (номер рассчитан на 5 человек, нас было четверо). Недостаточное количество посуды. Отсутствие микроволновой печи. Тяжело добираться на машине до объекта (практически невозможно, особенно если с чемоданами). Либо 200 метров спускаться с чемоданами пешком, либо вызывать тук тук

Der Ausblick war Weltklasse und die Lage zum Zentrum Fußläufig in ca. 10 min. erreichbar. Frühstück war gut mit viel Obst und reichlich. Das Personal war höflich und hilfsbereit.

Unser Zimmer wurde in den drei Nächten nicht gesäubert. Die Sauberkeit könnte besser ausfallen. Mehr Ablageflächen im Bad wären wünschenswert aber nicht entscheidend.

The views, the rooms were clean, spacious. The breakfast was delicious and served with the best view over the valley. Very good value for money and great location away from the hustle and bustle but easy 7 minute walk into town.

Das Bad war winzig und sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Stand beim Duschen unter Wasser. Schimmel. Am schlimmsten war ein penetranter, unerträglicher Gestank nach einem Raumbedufter! Wird den Bewertungen in keiner Weise gerecht!!!

The view from our room was incredible and meant that the bad weather didn't dampen our spirits! Huge breakfast with good selection, and great breakfast set up watching the birds. Room was clean and had good facilities (kettle, hairdryer etc). You are actually in the jungle so heard animals and had some bugs but it's all part of the jungle experience!

Sometimes water wasn't very hot; seemingly early morning and late night so may just be a timing issue

Ella Mount Relax Cottage absolutely blew us away. We stayed for 3 nights in the family suite, which was comfortable, spacious, clean and with a breathtaking view. We watched the sunrise from the comfort of our bed most mornings and it was a joy. The location is also super handy, a short walk to Ella town and close to the Little Adam’s Peak trailhead. The service was some of the best we had all trip. The breakfast (with a view) was fantastic and changed every day so there was variety. The manager and the rest of the staff were so attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. From bringing us a drink upon arrival, doing our laundry and even surprising us with a birthday cake at breakfast as the manager noticed it was my 30th from seeing my passport during check in. This such a wonderful and kind gesture. The value for money here is fantastic, and we would’ve played double for the experience we had. We would recommend this to anyone and hope we can come back again!
