Nada más llegar nos dieron zumo de recibimiento. Visto que había habitaciones libres nos cambiaron a uno mejor con mejores vistas sin nosotros pedirlo, un detalle que nos gustó.

La recepcionista, que era con la que hablábamos, estaba como muy encima nuestro, pendiente de que era lo que queríamos hacer y no hacer. Los desayunos empezaban 7:30 teóricamente, el día que subimos a desayunar hasta las 7:45 no apareció nadie y hasta las 8:00 no nos sirvieron el desayuno, oseaque si andáis con prisas tenerlo en cuenta.

La propreté n’est pas comme nos standards européen, mais ca allait. Le bip de la vidéo surveillance qui résonnait dans notre chambre. Nous sommes allés l’éteindre à 23h30. Le lendemain le personnel l’a coupé à 21h30 juste pour nous

Het beste hotel in Sri Lanka tot nu toe!! We verbleven hier 4 nachten en genoten van een prachtige kamer met voldoende voorzieningen. Na een welkomsdrankje genoten we van de heerlijke douche en het uitzicht!! De douche heeft een goede straal en is lekker warm. Het personeel is geweldig!! Wij zijn in het bijzonder heel tevreden over de service van Charuka. Hij bracht ons naar de Ella rock en gaf ons een watervallen tour. Charuka zijn Engels is heel goed en we hebben veel van elkaar geleerd. De locatie van het hotel is ook top, met 5 minuten sta je in het gezellige Ella. Het hotel biedt een tuktuk service en we hebben onze kleding laten wassen wat heerlijk rook. Ook het ontbijt verdient 5 sterren, we kregen elke ochtend iets nieuws en de kok liet ons Sri lankaanse gerechten proeven. Conclusie: dit hotel verdient 6 sterren.

The Peak Ella was a beautiful place to stay! It was really handy to town and the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. In particular, Nimesha, on the front desk, went out of her way to ensure we were having a good stay.

Toilet cistern leaking on bathroom floor. No bath mat. No working lift. No room service. Rubbish was not collect. Ants in the room to eat the rubbish.

The staff at The Peak Ella are incredibly friendly. Usually, the relationship between tourists and hotel staff is strictly business, limited just to the booking. But The Peak Ella is different. The employees and managers went above and beyond, treating us like family and providing service that was worth far more than what we paid. Plus, the location beautifully showcases the true Sri Lankan identity. As someone who has traveled to several countries, I am absolutely delighted with this trip. Thankyou peak ella ❤️

We had a wonderful stay! The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The view was absolutely stunning and made our stay even more enjoyable. The room and the entire property were very clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended, and we would love to stay here again!

The balcony to have breakfast has fantastic views and the staff were great, and food lovely. But rooms were not clean, shower flooded, sheets didnt look that clean.

Beautiful view where breakfast is served on the rooftop. Elevator available. Friendly staff. Close enough to the main strip and easily walkable. Excellent water pressure.

Mattresses were old and uncomfortable, whole room was pretty old and needs a renovation. Some sheets were dirty upon arrival but were quickly changed. We had the family room and there is no mountain view. I wish the pictures were taken with the curtains open so one can know what view to expect. I suppose this was intentional. The whole point we booked this hotel was thinking we would get a nice view. We paid for the more expensive family room only to be disappointed when we stepped out onto the patio.

The best stay of our Sri Lanka trip so far. The room was lovely and comfortable with a stunning view. The property is in an excellent location, a 5/10 minute walk from the town centre yet it feels quiet and peaceful. Our main takeaway was the staff who were incredibly helpful and friendly - in particular Charuka and Nimisha. We cannot recommend this property more.

I think everything was mostly good, specially front desk lady Nimesha was perfect. Helped us in many ways, example arrange massage, trip to waterfall etc. Other staff members was also so nice!! Breakfast was okay, nice views from the rooftop (and also from the roofs).

Bed was not so good, it would be good to renew bed mattresses. But even though we got good sleep.

The best view of Ella! Comfortable beds, good shower, everything was clean and friendly staff. Just a 5-10 min walk to all the restaurants.

The hotel is close to the city center, and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, the hotel lacks cleanliness. On our first night, there was a disturbance and no hot water. On the second day, we were moved to another room; the bathroom was infested with insects, and the air conditioning didn't work properly. On New Year's Eve, we searched for staff throughout the hotel, but no one was there to help. An unpleasant experience.

Purtroppo l’hotel non sembra finito. I soffitti e il pavimento in alcune parti non erano sistemati e si vedeva la gettata di cemento. E la pulizia era buona nella stanza ma non delle migliori negli spazi comuni. Comunque nel complesso una buona esperienza.

Personnel agréable, Propreté. Plats et petit déjeuner au top (fruits, jus, oeufs, tartines...). Superbe terrasse avec une vue sur le Ella rock (idéal au petit déjeuner) Emplacement au calme, à 5min à pieds du centre ville.

Les réglages de la climatisation ne fonctionnaient pas très bien visiblement, mais elle faisait le job quand même

The view from the balcony is breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the vibrant Ella town. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff was very accommodating and made all arrangements for us to have evening drinks.

Esta bien ubicado en la carretera principal a 5 minutos andando del centro. La habitación y el baño estaban bien. Lo mejor eran las vistas que tenía el hotel.

Se oye mucho el ruido de la calle, a todas horas del día incluso por la noche, dificulta el descanso. Cuando fuimos estaba en obras y todas las zonas comunes estaban sucias y poco accesibles. Además, el techo de las zonas comunes es asqueroso porque tiene suciedad acumulada.

It was a building site when we arrived and we hadn’t been told about it. Didn’t really impact the stay as we out during the day but the dust was everywhere. We had to wrestle a gecko out of the room everyday and even put towels inside and outside the door to try and stop the coming in.

The staff was very friendly, the rooms large and clean, a tasty meal, and the view from the balcony was simply magical.

They are rebuilding loads of this hotel so you are staying in a building site with all the dirt, noise and awkwardness that it brings. Sad we were recommended this by the sister hotel when they knew the state of the hotel. Very pleased to run away after one night (where the power cut out many,many times)

Il panorama dall’ultimo piano dove si fa colazione.

Praticamente niente. Posizionato a 5 min a piedi dalla strada principale, cammino da fare su una strada trafficata. La struttura è sopra una salita ripida e poi ci sono tante altre scale da fare. La reception è veramente rudimentale, così come il resto. Le stanze di dimensioni grandi ma datate e tenute un po’ male. In bagno nessun punto d’appoggio. Il personale cordiale. Sinceramente le foto sembrano meglio di quanto lo sia in realtà.

La habitación y el baño eran súper grandes y con muy buenas vistas. El agua funcionaba muy bien y el desayuno estaba muy rico.

El hotel estaba en obras por lo que al llegar por la tarde no pudimos descansar porque habia mucho ruido. Su ubicación es buena porque no estas en medio de Ella y hay más relax pero tiene muchas escaleras, ahora estaban construyendo un ascensor. El aire acondicionado no nos permitia modificar la velocidad. La cama era muy incómoda, se nos clavaban los muelles. Además, habia ciertos detalles de falta de calidad en el hotel como por ejemplo, la puerta del baño no tenia cerradura y por lo tanto, no se podía cerrar y en el baño no había ventilación.

Té una terrassa a dalt de tot xulissima, és on s’esmorza, que està inclòs en el preu i quasi ens ho perdem perquè no ens ho van recordar. I súper bo! A la nit vam coincidir amb el treballador Charuca i vam tenir una conversa súper interessant amb ell. De lo millor d’Sri Lanka: la seva gent.

Estaven en obres a l’entrada i hi havia bastant soroll durant tot el dia… Està una mica allunyat, toca anar per la carretera i quan es fa de nit és una mica rotllo.

Très bon emplacement. Personnel très sympathique. Nous avons été très bien reçu. Petit déjeuner convenable. Matelas confortable. Vue magnifique du balcon le matin au réveil.

Immeuble en travaux. Chambre sans insonorisation. Nous avons entendus tous les bruits extérieurs comme intérieur de l’immeuble. La douche fuis dans la salle de bain en dessous de la parois. La clim fonctionne une fois sur deux avec la télécommande. Finitions des travaux et propreté moyenne.

Ella ist zu fuß in 5 min erreichbar. Man hat einen unglaublichen Blick ins Tal und auf den Ella Rock. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und mit Balkonen ausgestattet. Das Hotelpersonal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Kein Aufzug vorhanden, da dieser in Reparatur war.

Hotel in completa ristrutturazione. Per poter accedere devi attraversare la zona lavori. Formiche in camera e camere non insonorizzate. La proprietaria è stata gentile e ci ha concesso di ridurre il soggiorno.

Il centro si raggiunge a piedi in 5 minuti, anche se la strada per arrivarci è molto trafficata. Bellissima vista sia dal terrazzo per la colazione sia dalle camere. Personale gentilissimo, la ragazza della reception ci ha aiutati con un problema avuto coi bigliettini del treno. Buona la colazione. Camera pulita

Purtroppo nel periodo di nostra permanenza l'hotel era un cantiere per ristrutturazione, gli spazi comuni era pieni di polvere per i lavori e molte aree erano chiuse, cioè ha creato qualche disagio. Ma sicuramente nel futuro sarà ancora più carino

There was work, it was horrible, there were electrical wires everywhere, and there was noise of work in the night.

Nebylo úplně čisté, velmi dlouho jsme čekali na snídani.

Sitting in the Balcony looking at Ella Rock was extremely pleasing, with sometimes mist covering everything. The staff knew that they were lacking better service, specially because construction work was going on for expansion & betterment of the Hotel, including an upcoming lift. Hence all of them were more than committed to give us service in all other ways possible; starting from carrying luggage to 1st & 2nd Floor to giving suggestions for Local attractions. And always with a smiling face. That uplifted the mood so that we could ignore the other drawbacks, during our stay.

Rooms & Bathrooms could have been much more clean.

De bovenste etage waar het ontbijt was, had een spectaculair uitzicht. Het personeel was aardig en het ontbijt prima. Je loopt zo naar Ella toe. De locatie is goed.

De kamers zijn echt aan renovatie toe. In de stenen vloer zitten allerlei vlekken. De aankomsthal wordt verbouwd waardoor het er erg ongezellig uitziet. Er wordt een lift gebouwd. Te duur voor wat je krijgt.

Lo mejor del alojamiento son las vistas, son impresionantes. El desayuno era muy completo y estaba bien.

Por donde empezar… la habitación estaba llena de humedades y se notaba incluso en las sábanas. El baño perdía agua, dejando el suelo inundado con agua del inodoro. Además, el ruido del goteo durante la noche era muy molesto. El personal en general era bastante desatento y resultaba difícil comunicarse con ellos. No lo recomendamos.

Die Lage ist gut (5 Minuten zu Fuß von der Hauptstraße) mit einem phänomenalen Ausblick auf Ella Rock. Das Zimmer ist super ausgestattet mit bequemen Betten und AC. Alle Angestellten des Hotels waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben für uns TukTuks und einen Kochkurs arrangiert. Das Frühstück war lecker und es durfte auch nachbestellt werden. Klare Empfehlung wer etwas mehr Geld in die Hand nehmen mag.

Leider waren während unseres Aufenthalts Bauarbeiten im Hotel - das Hotelpersonal war aber sehr rücksichtsvoll und hat uns gefragt ob es uns stört.

Very nice view on Ella Rock. Rooms are comfortable, the desk helped us to change our rooms to got one of the four one facing the mountain.

Big renovations were ongoing during our stay, it should have been announced, so a bit noisy during the day, not a problem if you’re away but since some of the activities are for sunrise, can be a bit a problem for afternoon nap. They got a Tuktuk which can drive you to main town for 100RP (even though not really advertised during check in) The food at the restaurant are not amazing, you may want to walk to main down for good local ones.

Sehr freundliches und hilfreiches Personal, dass immer schnell geantwortet hat (WhatsApp) Gute Betten, Zimmer mit Balkon inkl Sitzmöglichkeit Toller Ausblick Großer Obstteller zum Frühstück (außerdem Saft, Kännchen Heißgetränk, Toast & Ei) Guter Wasserdruck in der Dusche Schimmel haben wir nicht entdeckt, wenige Ameisen und Mini-Salamander (nicht störend)

Baustelle im Haus mit teilweise gefährlichen Ecken (Fahrstuhlschacht offen und kaum gesichert) Klapprige Türen, Badezimmertüren schlossen gar nicht Klimaanlage nicht regulierbar Nur mit Ohropax haben wir ruhig geschlafen, da es zum Hausflur nur eine Zimmertür ist. Preis-Leistung ist so lala. Wir haben für weniger Geld schon besser gewohnt in Sri Lanka. Es ist ein Budgethotel ohne super günstig zu sein.

The people were so nice, the view was amazing and the rooms were big en clean. The location is close to the center.

On est arrivé le soir et y'avait pas d'eau chaude. L'établissement est en travaux, t'as l'impression d'être dans un immeuble en chantier. Dès 8h t'es réveillé par la perceuse. Ils ont voulu me faire payer 2 fois une course pour 2 sites à 3mn à pied l'un de l'autre. Enfin la chambre était d'une propreté relative.

Nice (simple) breakfast. Nice location. Got to keep our luggage in our room for late checkout.

Hemos estado muy poco en el hotel, y nos hubiera gustado pasar unas noches más. Las vistas son súper bonitas, el hotel es limpio y amplio. El personal nos ha ayudado en todo. Preguntar por la excursión a la cascada, vale la pena ;)

Las personas de recepción era lo mejor que tenía el hotel. El aire acondicionado funcionaba bien y las habitaciones eran grandes con buenas vistas. Las camas y almohadas muy cómodas.

La ubicación no era muy buena. Tenías que andar unos 10 min por plena carretera y curvas para llegar a la calle principal de Ella. Las habitaciones no estaban limpias, muchos bichos. Tuvieron que cambiarnos de habitación porque el baño y las sábanas estaban llenas de hormigas. No tiene ascensor

Perfect location, 15 minute walk into town, but quiet location with stunning views. The team that work there are amazing, nothing was too much trouble, went out of their way to make us feel welcome.. the food was fabulous,both at breakfast and evening meals.

Excellent location, short walk into town centre. The road has no pavement tho and does feel a bit dangerous. Good restaurants close by. Amazing views from top floor restaurant where we had breakfast everyday. Good mango juice. Friendly and helpful staff. Room had a balcony with amazing views.

No mosquito nets. Lots of ants in the bathroom although this probably can't be helped in a tropical country.
