B&B Plattestien

La chambre très bien équipée, accueil chaleureux, belle déco, terrasse très agréable. Le petit-déjeuner somptueux !!!

La route d accès n est vraiment pas suffisamment praticable...

We hebben een erg prettig verblijf van 2 nachten gehad bij B&B Plattestien. We werden warm ontvangen door de vriendelijke host, die rustig de tijd nam om alles netjes uit te leggen. De kamer was schoon, ruim en modern ingericht, met prima bedden. De accommodatie was van alle gemakken voorzien: gratis wifi, airco, een grote televisie, koelkast en magnetron. Op tafel lag een handige map met informatie over het verblijf en de omgeving, inclusief fijne restaurant tips. Ook gaf de host zelf bruikbare tips over de buurt. De ligging is erg praktisch: rustig, goed bereikbaar met gratis parkeergelegenheid direct naast de B&B en op 10 minuten lopen van het Hallerbos. 's Ochtends kregen we een erg lekker ontbijt met verse broodjes van de bakker, beleg, fruit en vers sap. Zeker een aanrader voor wie een fijn en comfortabel adres zoekt.

Eerlijk gezegd was ons verblijf vrijwel perfect. Als we heel streng moeten zijn en kijken naar kleine details, zijn er twee puntjes: Aan de kamer grenst een tuintje waar je lekker buiten kan zitten, maar met enkel een halve schutting als afscheiding met de buren. Persoonlijk hebben we liever net wat meer privacy, maar onze buren waren rustig, dus het was voor ons nu prima. Mocht je wat luidere buren hebben, kan dat storend zijn. Daarnaast is het laatste stukje (openbare) weg naar de B&B erg slecht onderhouden en krap. Dat valt de accommodatie uiteraard niet aan te rekenen, maar wel handig om te weten voor grotere auto's. Die moeten wellicht omrijden. Verder viel er echt niets tegen en hebben we een heerlijk verblijf gehad.

Wij verbleven in de woning Stienput. De vakantiewoning is heel mooi en netjes, een keuken waar alles voorhanden is, een zalig bed en een leuk terrasje met prachtig uitzicht! De super lieve eigenaars maken alles compleet.

Het mooie uitzicht en het overdadige ontbijt (wat ook fungeerde als lunch).

Het was een heerlijke goed verzorgde B&B. Wij zaten in de Stienhut. Een fijn appartement met mooi uitzicht over de landerijen en op het Hallerbos in de verte. Zittend op het terras met uitzicht op ons tuintje genoten van de vogels en de zon ! Het ontbijt hebben wij bijgeboekt en dat was prima, lekkere producten en uitgebreid zodat we elke dag nog broodjes mee konden nemen als lunch. Marc, één van de twee eigenaren, die voornamelijk de B&B runt was steeds zeer bereid ons te vertellen over de omgeving. Je voelt dat hij met heel zijn hart de B&B runt en er veel plezier in heeft. Al met al een heerlijk verblijf en voor herhaling vatbaar.

Wanneer je wil fietsen is een elektrische fiets zeer aan te bevelen want het is er zeer heuvelachtig met soms slechte en smalle fietspaden. Dat viel ons wat tegen maar de omgeving is mooi en er is genoeg te beleven.

Een fantastisch, goed verzorgd vakantiehuis. We hebben enorm genoten en ons prima thuis gevoeld. Gastheerschap is Marc en Marleen op het lijf geschreven. Een dikke aanrader.

Helemaal niks, alles tip top.

Absolutely not family friendly. Thin walls. Nosy staff who walk around on site, look at your car, ask questions. Check-in feels like an interview. Very extreme reactions if you don't fit the profile.

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber und gut eingerichtete Wohnung und ein gutes und reichlichhaltiges Frühstück. Auch nachdem 3. Euch immer wieder gerne.

رائع!! المكان جميل و مريح و من انظف الاماكن اللي سكنت فيها و الاطلاله رهيبه، فيه جلسات خارجيه و مظله عالجلسة مفيده بوقت المطر او الشمس، كل شي تحتاجه موجود بالسكن و السرير جدا مريح وصاحب المكان مارك متعاون جدا ساعدنا نحل مشكلة بالسياره و دائما كان متواجد و شرح لنا كل شي نحتاجه عن المكان و الفعاليات من البدايه. انصح فيه جدا لاجازة استرخاء.

Een mooie B&B midden in de natuur, rustig gelegen. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid, kamer van alle gemakken voorzien en Marc is een hele fijne gastheer. We komen zeker terug om de hyacinten te zien.

Prachtig gelegen, mooi uitzicht, paradijselijke tuin! En een allervriendelijkste host (Marc) die ons geweldig verzorgd heeft. Een ontbijt waar je de hele dag nog lekkere dingetjes van kunt snoepen, met broodjes van de warme bakker!

Der Aufenthalt in diesem besonderen Ambiente war wunderbar. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett, wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und es waren angenehme Gespräche. Marc gab sehr gute Hinweise/Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen und stellte freundlicherweise auch Kartenmaterial zur Verfügung . Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, vielen lieben Dank!

Diese traumhafte Unterkunft lässt keinerlei Zweifel aufkommen.

Die Umgebung ist von viel Natur geprägt, die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und die Wohnung ist aufgrund ihrer Lage sehr schön. Es fehlt an nichts!

Uitgebreid ontbijt op de ruime kamer, ontzettend vriendelijke en gastvrije hosts. Goed bed heerlijk geslapen. Op loopafstand van het Haller bos. Mooie omgeving.

Breakfast was excellent, brought to our own room at the time of our choice. There were delicious home made jams and fruit juices, served with a huge choice of breads and pastries.

Marc the owner is tops!! Beautiful room with great breakfast near the Hallerbos forest.

A very narrow bumpy road for the last km but it’s the country!!

Schitterend uitzicht over de goed verzorgde tuin, de velden, en het Hallerbos. De woning was van alle gemakken voorzien. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren. Vanuit de woning kun je naar het Hallerbos wandelen. Supermarkt op 5 min. rijden met de auto. Restaurant tip voor heerlijk Italiaans eten (geen pizza): La Mia Cucina 2 in Beersel.

Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf aldaar, de uitrusting van het huis is super alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Het geweldige uitzicht vanuit het huis op het Hallerbos.

Alles was ok.

Mooi uitzicht op het hallerbos en een zeer rustige omgeving. Bovendien is de vakantiewoning volledig uitgerust met alles wat je zou kunnen nodig hebben !

Heel goeie ontvangst, mooi verblijf in een mooie omgeving. Super hygiënisch en 10/10 voor het ontbijt

The property used to be a farm and we loved the location..was easy to take the train into Brussels and avoid driving the car in…stunning location and Mark n Marleen were superb hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and the breakfasts were scrumptious.

Frühstück, Zimmer, Bad, Lage, alles hervorragend. Besser geht es nicht. Besitzer sehr freundlich, bemüht und herzlich.

Très bonne chambre spacieuse, bien équipée et décorée. Délicieux petit déjeuner , on a bien aimé la salade de fruits et bien sûr le jus de pommes fait maison, c'était top.

Tolle Vermieter. Sehr engagiert. Alles privat. Geschmackvoll, modern eingerichtet. Sehr gute Betten Boxspring. Ruhige, hügelige, ländliche Lage, dennoch in Weltstadtnähe. Wandern, Radsport etc idealer Ausgangspunkt.

Zuwegung, ca. 150 m, sehr holprig, aber nicht schlimm.

Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und haben sich Zeit für uns genommen. Nochmals vielen lieben Dank. Das Frühstück (in Zimmer serviert), war sehr lecker, reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich und die selbstgemachten Marmeladen ein Gedicht. Unser Dachzimmer war groß und angenehm. Ein großes Badezimmer, bequeme Betten. Ein rundum sehr schönes b&b mit sehr gutes Ambiente.

Eigentlich nichts... Nur 4 klitze kleine Punkte 1. Die Lampen könnten heller leuchten 2. Ein paar mehr Teelöffeln wäre praktischer 3. Wahrscheinlich kurz vor unsere Aufenthalt ist renoviert worden. Wenn man in das Zimmer kam roch es nach Waschbenzin. Nach ein paar Minuten war es nicht mehr zu merken. 4.Wenn man, wenn schon dunkel ankommt, hat man schon ein komisches mulmiges Gefühl. Sehr einsam und die Straße ist schon, sagen wir so... abenteuerlich. Tagsüber ist dieses Gefühl 100% weg.

The owners were amazing, welcoming and really kind. The breakfast was magnificent, all kinds of bread, a good selection of cheeses and ham, along with fruits and yoghurt,,butter and jam ,eggs.....i cannot ask for more 😁 Everything was clean, we had a beautiful view and even a table outside to sit and observe nature. Very peaceful place far away from the city noise with all you need for a wonderful stay! A good place to stay if you want to go to the Waterloo reenactments. We will be back for sure!

This is an exceptional B&B. Marc and Marleen are warm, friendly and informative hosts. It was like home away from home. Spacious, clean, modern with all necessary amenities. The grounds are spectacular with forest views, gardens and outdoor patio area. Comfy bed, modern climate control and large TV even offering Netflix. Great WiFi. I was there to do photography at the annual Bluebell Festival in the Hallerbos Forest and this B&B was chosen due to its close walking proximity. Breakfast was delivered to my door daily and it was plentiful!! Whatever is your pleasing - cheese, meat, breads, croissants, yogurt, fresh fruit, tea/coffee. The couple were there all the time to offer assistance and travel tips. I will always cherish my memory of Halle and stay at the B&B Plattestien.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

This cannot be described in words. Everything is there as described in the ad, or even better. Lovely hosts, attentive, caring and ready to help. Room equipment elegant, modern and very practical. There is no scale in the form for the rating of the ‘royal’ breakfast with a view on the magic Hallerbos forest (one has to see it in spring!). A collection of information is available on site to help you navigate the area. Would gladly go there again!

Great view, lovely room and very friendly host. Also really liked the booklet that had activities sorted by driving distance. Will be coming back to try more of those!

The property was very clean, in a beautiful quiet place and the owner was lovely!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room had floor heating which was very nice addition during the cold days. Mark and Marleen included a welcome binder with all the information one might need when visiting a new place, truly remarkable. You can see that both of them really care, they were always available in case of need. And always will you see them with a warm smile! We will definitely be coming back :)

Quiet, secluded and in a lovely part of Belgium. Marc, the host is friendly,kind, thoughtful and wants to make sure your stay is the best it can be. The space is well thought out, if not a little sterile and lacking in character. However, the outside of the b&b is full of character and matches the countryside it sits in. This is no criticism, just an observation and by n means affects the comfort of your stay Special mention should be made of the breakfast should you choose that option. The term all day breakfast could be used as Marc’s thoughtfulness includes a doggie bag should you want to make up a lunch with the breakfast leftovers.

A bath towel would have been nice to be included as part of the linen.

Wonderful get away in a relaxed atmosphere. The hosts, Marc and Marlene were so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed every moment of our time there.

The road leading to it.

Wonderful breakfast served in my room with view over countryside.I was supplied with maps and suggestions for walks. The bluebell woods were in flower so I was able to do many woodland walks.

This B&B did not do evening meals but there were restaurants nearby apparently.I did not bother as it meant reserving a table by phone and I do not speak French.

Beautiful spot in the countryside, close to local amenities and easy access to the highway. The owner, Marc, has an absolute gem of a B&B and was super attentive and helpful.

Hospitality, very nice comfortable room and bath room, well equipped. Great breakfast. Silent night 🌙
