Excellent place! Perfect location, and the are combination of being at the centre of Patan while really quiet. Lovely staff and great breakfast. Historic building - what more can you ask!

Main tip - If you're over 6 foot, book one of the larger rooms. The ceiling in the single rooms is low!

The property is a beautiful old Newar house with a nice front courtyard and a rear garden courtyard where guests can hang out, eat meals, and relax. It is also a three minute walk to Patan durbar square.

I enjoyed everything about my stay here.

the location is exceptional. in the heart of patan but quiet (except for the barking dogs which is a feature of Kathmandu). staff are very responsive. the old place is charming. breakfast is exclelent.

the bed mattraces were not the same thickness/height in our room so the couples might struggle with comfort a bit.

Je me suis faite dévorer par des punaises de lit (bed bugs) !!! Et dans l'ensemble, les prestations m'ont semblé moins bonnes que lors de ma dernière venue il y a 3ans.

Silence and peace in the big city of Kathmandu! A dream

Beautiful building and garden located in a really picturesque part of the Kathmandu Valley. The staff were exceptional. The receptionist, Safal, was always available to offer help and advice on sites to see. He also makes exceptional coffee (up there with the best in Pātan). The owner, Navy, also made herself available to greet and welcome us to her guesthouse. We highly recommend Boutique Heritage Home for future travellers.

Pātan, with its beautifully designed doorways and tightly round stairways is not a city built for the average 6ft 2” Australian.

Fantastic location close to Patan Durban Square. The staff are so helpful. I would stay here again.

The property felt like an authentic experience of Nepal. The neighbourhood was quiet and the rooms were newly renovated. Staff were friendly and accomodating.

The shower head had very weak pressure and was hard to have a shower.

Beautiful place with good history. The rooms were nice and spacious. The only thing is that the corridor ceilings are bit low so if you are very tall you will have to duck a bit as you navigate through

The shower could not maintain hot water for long. It would work one minute then be gone the next. We came in January so it became very cold at night and in the morning. A consistent hot shower would have been nice.

Delightful staff, breakfast really good, shower curtain filthy, I asked for it to be replaced but it was semi cleaned instead.

I booked my room at the very last minute, literally right before my early-morning flight. When I landed, my airport pickup was already arranged. I arrived at the hotel before check-in time planning to just drop off my bags, but they told me my room was ready, so I checked in immediately. The front desk staff answered all my questions and gave very helpful tips about what to do in Kathmandu. The staff were polite, efficient, and very good at their jobs.

Świetna lokalizacja. Mimo bliskości do historycznego centrum miejsce bardzo spokojne, osłonięte od hałasu ulicy. Można było wypocząć. W godzinach rannych przejazd na lotnisko tylko 15 minut taksówką. Miłe śniadanie w hotelowym patio, sympatyczna obsługa.

Breakfast was great, and the hotel is near all the Patan places to visit.

The floor was not very clean. Shower was relatively week.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned well. I had a king bed, but it was really just two twins pushed together with no pad to make the join comfortable. Better to request a queen or double bed. Staff always seemed distant.

Amount of motorbikes in the streets

The owner was very helpful & informative. The breakfast was fantastic. The original building is very cool with great rooftop views.

The old building is a heritage site so the ceilings & doorways are short in many locations, but that is normal for all of Kathmandu. The rooftops are ancient & so cool, but I kept finding old rat turds randomly as if they were falling from the ceiling...probably normal for Kathmandu.

Hotellet var underbart, ett vackert bälrestaurerat mer än 200 år gammalt hus. Rummen var stora och bekväma. Frukosten serverades i en vacker trädgård på baksidan. Alla bekvämligheter fanns också, wifi och varmt vatten i tillräcklig mängd. Personalen var oerhört vänlig.

Det fanns faktiskt inget jag inte tyckte om!

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Fijne locatie. Relatief rustig in het drukke Patan. Schone en mooie kamer. Elke dag schoonmaak en een heerlijk ontbijt in de mooie tuin.

歴史的民家の状況が良く分かります。非常に清潔であり、豪華な中庭で朝食ができます。

Wer ein traditionelles Newari Haus (ohne AC-Luxus und ähnlichem)sucht, wird sich hier wohlfühlen. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet und ist lecker. Je nach Lage der Zimmer mag das tägliche Singen im Tempelchen nebenan etwas störend sein.

Il posto è stupendo in una via tranquillissima vicino a Durban square a Patan, che è una cittadina tranquilla da girare anche a piedi e per i ristoranti non turistici, a differenza di thamel a Katmandu. Il nostro appartamento era stupendo e ogni giorno veniva pulito. La colazione nel giardino buonissima e tutto lo staff attento e cordiale. Siamo stati in bassa stagione quindi il ristorante dell' albergo era chiuso, ma proprio dietro all' albergo (il giardino confinante) c'è un ristorante buonissimo a stile occidentale che può soddisfare pienamente.

Se proprio devo trovare qualcosa forse le zanzare (sono tante) e il fatto che dietro al letto c'era una finestra con delle tende molto chiare da cui entrava la luce la mattina

Struttura fantastica, tradizionale: giardino sul retro davvero rilassante e ben tenuto. Personale merraviglioso, gentile e disponibile. Buona la posizione, isolato dal traffico della direttrice principale lì accanto

Perfect location for Swayambhu - 5 minutes walk. Exceptionally clean and very comfortable bed and bedding. Lovely room. Attentive and kind staff. Nice seating area downstairs to chill out. Lovely traditional decor. There is nothing not to like! Great value and would happily stay again. Breakfast was delicious too.
