Badri Homes, Studio Apartment

Unfortunately, our stay at Badri Homes Apartment was disappointing. The apartment consists of a bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom. There were cockroaches in the kitchen, and the host was unresponsive, so we had to arrange for cleaning . While every other place we stayed at on our trip was wonderful, this apartment was full of bugs and the customer service was very poor.

Possibilité d’y laver son linge avec son rooftop pour l’étendage, tres appreciable. The host is very responsible, understanding, and friendly. The location is excellent, right next to the square. You can tell that it was once a great apartment, thoughtfully designed and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. However, it is now in desperate need of a deep clean and some refresh.

There are serious cleanliness issues — the room smells of cigarette smoke (and it doesn't air out with the window open), is infested with cockroaches, and requires a very thorough, high-quality cleaning. We also had a problems with hot water and WiFi.

Nothing much but cleaner towels would’ve been appreciated as one had make-up stain from previous use

Ottima posizione,molto vicino al centro. Letto comodo, lenzuola pulite. Il proprietario è stato molto gentile.

Location perfect for us. Very close to Patan Durbar Square. Globally ,comfortable apartment with all what is needed. Quiet. Shops around. We will go again.

It was cozy, clean felt like home❤️❤️The host was very kind the staff girl was sweet as well!! 100% recommend to solo travellers from around the world and even with your friends and family.

Noisy in the day time but its not a problem cuz the nights are very quiet and peaceful ☺️

close to everything was perfect in this home: everything for cooking, spices, salt and oil, microwave oven, fridge. bathroom and shower is clean and comfortable bed is comfortable, WiFi is fast price was very competitive nice rooftop water filter, no need to buy bottles washing machine, I could do my laundry myself

however there is a major thing that does not work for me with this place: the noise. the windows are not up to the standard of this room. they are the old windows like in every building in kathmandu: old and bent wooden chassis, they don't close properly and they let in ALL the noise from the outside. And god the outside is noisy. Constant ballet of motorcycles and cars from early morning until late evening, traffic jams, horn noise. I felt like I was in the street all the time. No tranquility. Impossible to sleep without earplugs. I was eager to leave to find another accommodation. If the owner reads this: please replace the windows with hermetic ones. It's too bad that such a lovely home becomes a hell because of such inappropriate windows.

The hosts were very nice and supportive! The location is really great in the sense that it is close to major sightseeing sites, shops, tiny scenery streets, and the Durbar Square. I really liked Patan, i think even more than Kathmandu.

Although I eventually got used to it, but it's rather noisy because it is right on the corner of an intersection so one can always hear honks and bells throughout the day and early morning.

Here’s the revised version with your addition: We went to Patan for a friend’s wedding, and Badri’s home truly felt like home to us. It’s a very cozy place. While the windows face the roadside and it might seem noisy at first, it actually feels quite local, and the traffic noise is minimal at night. The room has everything you need, and there’s a rooftop with a laundry machine and space to dry your clothes. They also provide purified water for free. The location is excellent, with shops, restaurants, and a historical museum just next door. The hosts—a father and son—are incredibly kind and generous. Let me know if you’d like to refine it further!

Everything was perfect! I stayed a couple of days for sightseeing and online work. Anything you need is ~3 min walk from the apartment. You can’t find a better place in KTM!

This is the best department I could find around Lalitpur, clean with own bathroom. You can also do laundry and wash clothes. It’s very private as well.

My friend and I stayed for a month and since we had gone for an international conference, we had access to see our fellow participants hotels too, and we realised how much better Badri Homes was from literally all other hotels around the area. The location is right next to the Patan Durbar square, with several restaurants, medicine and grocery shops right around it. The hosts were extremely hospitable, accommodating, and helped us in every way possible. The rooms were large and airy, we had access to an attached toilet, kitchen, fridge, microwave, air conditioner, washing machine and even a terrace. Everything about Badri Homes was perfect.

We stayed on the top floor, so we had to climb the stairs. But others can choose some other floor.

The accommodations were clean and well-maintained. Despite the limited staff, they were respectful of our privacy and exceptionally helpful. Everything was in order, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free trip. We are truly grateful for our stay.

The lack of cutlery was somewhat disappointing, and specific cooking tools like a rolling pin were not available. However, this was not a significant issue as most essential items were provided.

This is the best place in Kathmandu. We stayed for a week and we loved it and if we come back to the city we want to live here.

There was nothing to complain about. We absolutely loved the apartment.

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 6 am. Everything was incredible and it looked like an apartment rather than a hotel. Feel like a home.

Newly built hotel's room was very neat, tidy and beautiful. The location is perfect. It has got its own terrace. The staffs were so polite,curious and helpful. Kitchen is available with the necessary utensil needed for cooking. Really enjoyed the stay here. Would love to come here again soon.
