The host is very friendly, showed me around Patan, and gave me lots of recommendations. The rooms are comfortable and nicely designed in traditional style. I'd recommend!

Wer Luxus sucht, ist hier falsch. Wer einen herzlichen, persönlichen Aufenthalt mit echtem Kontakt zu Einheimischen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das Zimmer war einfach, aber völlig in Ordnung, das Frühstück selbst gemacht und lokal, so wie ich es mir gewünscht hatte. Das Besondere war der Gastgeber: ob Fragen nach Lokalen, Sehenswürdigkeiten oder Simkarte, ich hatte den besten Berater, den ich mir wünschen konnte. Er kam sogar mit, um auf Nepali zu übersetzen, als ich meine Simkarte aufladen wollte. Diese Art von Gastfreundschaft ist selten, und genau deshalb würde ich wiederkommen.

Alles war in Ordnung.

The rooms are very cozy, the whole place is beautiful and nicely designed and the breakfast is, without a doubt, the best one I’ve had in Nepal so far! On top of that, the staff is super nice, helpful and sweet. I’d go back for sure!

Such a beautiful place run by a kind and lovely family. Tucked away a couple of minutes from Patan Durbar square, it feels like going back in time when you enter the building. The rooms are gorgeous with attention to small details that make your stay extra special. The breakfast is also delicious and hearty and the lovely hosts will help you with absolutely anything you need. We booked for 2 nights and ended up staying 5, a wonderful place to stay.

オーナーのプラティーブさんは、とてもフレンドリーで、いつも声をかけてくれます。（プラティーブさんは日本語も少し話せます） 時間があればパタンの町をガイドしてくれたり、有益な情報をたくさん教えてくれました。 またプラティーブさんのご家族も、いつも笑顔で接してくれて、一家のお宅にホームステイしている感じで、夕食をご馳走してくれたりもしました。 建物の立地は、パタンのダルバール広場から徒歩5〜6分の住宅街にあります。まるで博物館のような雰囲気抜群の伝統的なネワール邸宅です。 館内は清掃が行き届いていて、とても快適でした。あまりに快適過ぎて、当初3泊の予定を8泊に延長してしまいました。

The room is very Newari-style oriented, definitely central and very well organised. There is the sleeping area, and separate you will find a studio and a nice table. I really appreciated breakfast and nice conversations with my super host. I will definitely come back! Thank you.

L'hotel est très bien situé dans le quartier, à 5min à pied du Square mais dans une ruelle calme ! donc parfait. Nous avons été reçu d'une manière adorable, l'hote est d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Il nous a offert le gouté à notre arrivée l'après midi. Il est au petit soins pour nous. Il nous a expliqué les lieux à visiter et a arrangé notre transport vers l'aéroport ! Les chambres sont très grande et très bien équipée, presque comme des appartements. Le rapport qualité prix est bon. Le charme de la maison est un plus. Le petit dejeuner était excellent. Il nous a aussi conseillé un excellent restaurant local sans risque pour nous touriste européen, on y a mangé 3 fois sans soucis !

L’accueil et la générosité hors du commun par la famille, le charme de la chambre, sa grandeur et tous les équipements nécessaires sont disponibles. L’emplacement dans une maison historique et le déjeuné sur le toit sont vraiment des plus appréciés. Ce fut probablement mon meilleur séjour après un mois dans le pays!

L’accueil du propriétaire qui a soucis de satisfaire ses clients. Toujours disponible et attentionné. L’architecture typique Newar qui agrémente le voyage . La proximité des centres d’intérêts a Patan.

ネワールの方の古民家に滞在させていただけます。部屋は清潔感があり、お湯も出ました。パタンに生きる方々の生活を垣間見ることができます。屋上でいただく朝食も美味しかった！またオーナーの方はいろいろな情報を提供してくださったり、パタンの街を案内してくれました。本当に貴重な機会になりました。タメル地区に泊まるよりもこちらに宿泊する方がいいと思います。

因为飞机延误临时订的民宿，却成了我这段旅程中最温暖的回忆。民宿老板非常热情，把客人当家人一样，和他聊天感觉他是个很热爱生活很善良的人。我入住当天是当地的节日，老板还邀请我和他家人们一起吃晚餐。房子本身是一栋传统风格的老建筑，看得出有用心布置。非常推荐给来帕坦玩的朋友。

This is a lovely, welcoming family-run guest home. The owner was so helpful, and food was delicious. Breakfast is large. I has a suite, large with big bed, desk, sofa, bathroom cupboards & racks for hanging clothes. Price was reasonable for such a nice room The family made me feel at home.

The location is on a narrow street, so a little hard to find at first.

Everything! The property has loads of character with brick walls and dark wooden detailing. Our room was oversized and very clean. We also loved how comfortable the bed was. The owner Pradeep made us feel very welcome, even going out of his way to cook breakfast for us for an early departure and arrange a car to the bus station. We really appreciated his warmth and kindness!

Magnifique. La chambre est incroyablement belle, merveilleusement décorée et très spacieuse. Le lit ultra confortable et douillet, nous n'avions plus envie de nous lever le matin! La maison dans son ensemble super jolie, et emplacement au top, à deux pas du Durbar Square de Patan. Et surtout, l'accueil INCROYABLE que nous avons reçu. Notre hôte et sa famille sont adorables, aux petits soins avec leurs invités, super sympas. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux, complet et délicieux. Clairement un des meilleurs logements où nous soyons allés. Si nous revenons à Patan, nous reviendrons ici, c'est sûr! :)

Lovely traditional Nawari house super close to the Patan Durbar square. The owner was particularly friendly and helpful, offering lots of tips on exploring the area and a day trip out of town. Breakfast on the roof terrace was also lovely.

Nius avons aimé l'accueil et la gentillesse du propriétaire. Il nous a bien conseillé , que ce soit pour les visites, les restaurants, et pour rechercher un taxi... La chambre était très confortable et propre. Le roof top est un plus pour prendre le petit déjeuner.

The location is very close to Patan Dunbar Square and many other temples. Located in a quiet, paved street off the main thoroughfares, you enter through beautifully carved, wooden doors into the sanctity of a traditional home. Deepak greeted me with the warmest smile and immediately made me feel at home. He is a font of knowledge and so willing to assist. His information on other areas in the valley was impressive and much appreciated. The rooms were thoughtfully decorated with everything you required, down to toothbrush and toothpaste. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the upstairs terrace having breakfast and chatting with Deepak. And the traditional locks for your room - wonderful! Yamba Traditional Home can be summed up as clean, cheerful, cultural. Thankyou for the enjoyable stay.

Casa tradizionale a Patan, bellissima e accogliente come i proprietari. Sempre sorridenti e pronti a dare ottimi consigli, oltre che ottime colazioni. Avevamo prenotato una stanza diversa rispetto a quella in cui abbiamo passato 4 notti, perché il proprietario ci ha proposto di soggiornare in una stanza più silenziosa. È stato fantastico ed era proprio quello che ci serviva. Posizione comoda per visitare la città e dintorni. Acqua calda!

Cette maison traditionnelle Neware au charme fou nous a offert un séjour magique ⭐️ Le propriétaire et sa famille ont été adorable et très professionnel. La chambre était magnifique et calme. Elle présentait tous les équipements attendus avec une literie confortable et de l’eau chaude pour une bonne douche relaxante après une chouette journée de visite. Le petit déjeuner était très bon. C’est un sans faute pour Yamba Traditional Home 🙏🏻Nous recommandons à 💯

It was my second time in this wonderful house. I stayed there for eight nights. For me, there's no hotel in the world where I feel better. Pradeep, Rema, and the parents are incredibly kind, charming, and helpful people. It's like coming home. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful time, & see you in August…. (I can hardly wait)

The owner is very kind. He cares about every guest. He called me for breakfast every day and offered me a nice room. The room is very beautiful. If I go to Patan, I will stay here.

A traditional homestay in the heart of Patan, where it feels like home. Pradeep and his family are great hosts, who do their best to make your stay there as pleasant as possible. Pradeep helped us in so many ways and most useful information. We appreciated his kindness and help. Best location to explore a traditional Patan which is already part of Kathmandu.

The staff are amazing and very welcoming. This is one of the best places to stay in a central yet quiet area.

It couldn’t have been better, such a lovely accommodating family, who made me feel instantly at home - and even gave me hiking poles as I set off to Pokhara. It’s a beautiful house, located in the heart of Patan and feels very calm and restful. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Staying here felt like having a home in Patan. Pradeep was so kind with his time and recommendations, the breakfast was excellent and it's an easy walk to Patan's Durbar Sq. I stayed at Yamba Traditional Home at the end of my time in Nepal and it was by far the best experience I had - it made me want to stay another week.

It was perfect.

The very best location when exploring the old town of Patan. The hotel is situated in a small street and it is not noisy at all during night time. Impressive authentic interrior within the whole building. Our room was very cozy and comfortable - with hot water, all hygiene items. The owner even let us choose a bigger room. The staff is super friendly and supportive, their hospitality is amazing. We had a welcome coffee with cookies and fruits on arrival. The breakfast is served in a nice roof-top terrace.

The property and staff were absolutely lovely and the bed super comfortable. We recommend highly to go there and look forward to come back☺️

The room was really beautiful. I came in winter when it was a bit cold. There was a heated mattress cover though which was so warm and cosy. The breakfast was lovely and the owner was so friendly and helpful and gave lots of great advice for the local area.

The owner, Pradeep and his family made us feel very welcome in a traditional Newari home. He took us out on the streets to give us an orientation to the locality. The homestay is located in a quiet area of Pātan close to Durban Square.

Not much to report here except the water pressure and temperature were ordinary for a winter visit.

Familial and traditional house near Pathan square. Welcomed by lovely parents with tea and snacks while waiting for their English speaking son to come for check-in. The room is nice and large with lit alcoves in the brick walls. Tiny and simple bathroom but with hot water, making a great job after a long journey to Kathmandu. The location is also good near historical buildings but in a narrow and quiet street. It's an alternative to accommodation in busy and noisy Thamel. You can see puja and lot if local activities and daily chores by wandering in this area. The owner Pradeep is really helpful. To highlight, the restoration of the house is a family achievement, all self made including the wooden carved pieces found at different sections of the house !

Breakfast could be improved and the terrace where it's served could be reorganized to make a more enjoyable place.

Loved the room! It was well decorated and quiet in the evening. The bed was very comfortable The location is great just 2 min walk from patan durbar square. The owners are very helpful and chilled out I loved my stay and will be back!!

I really enjoyed my stay at Yamba. Pradeep was a wonderful host! I was sick for one of the days I stayed there and he very kindly checked up on me throughout the day to see if there was anything I needed and brought me fruit. His elderly parents are also very sweet. The rooms are cool and quiet and a great refuge from the noisy streets of Patan. My room looked into an interior courtyard, from which I could hear some noise during the day, but at night it was very quiet and peaceful. The location is excellent for exploring old Patan. The small streets can get quite confusing; on my first night Pradeep also kindly walked with me to a meeting point where I was meeting a friend to make sure I didn't get lost. I enjoyed eating breakfast on the roof with other guests in the mornings.

The rooms are a little dark as the windows are quite small.

The property owner is very friendly, helpful, and cooperative, too. He does almost everything to make you comfortable and happy! The breakfast is good. All amenities are functional, too. Value for money.

The isolation of the rooms is not up-to-date as a result of which your night rest can get disturbed hopelessly if some guests start snoring 😴 The bed is standing low (without legs).

A very nice traditional house, close to Durbar Square which is a nice walk from the accomodation. The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, gives great service. And the breakfast is good.

My warmest stay in Nepal. Pradeep, his wife and his parents are wonderful people! He showed me half of Patan in his free time. I felt very comfortable in the traditional Newari house. My room was very nicely decorated, had a balcony and the location is very, but very central. The breakfast was the best and most varied I have eaten in Nepal. His wife’s dinner was also delicious. I liked it so much that I also booked the last few days in Pradeep's house. I can only warmly recommend the house and especially the owners. Thanks 1000 for everything!

Yamba is very nicely located in Patan, it was perfect to explore around the neighborhood (which is much nicer than the touristy neighborhood of Thamel). The rooms are cosy, the family was really welcoming and made us feel at home. We stayed there each time we passed by Kathmandu in our trip and we loved it.

Some rooms can be a bit humid during the moosoon but usually you can choose a good one as there are not many people in this season.

Very unique and traditional hotel in a great location close to main Patan attractions like Durban square. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful, truly created the atmosphere of home, and tried to help us with everything that they can. Breakfast was very tasty. We truly enjoyed our stay there very much!
