Wake Field Views

Absolutely gorgeous spot, located just outside the centre of Wakefield. The sunrise over the hills was spectacular. Well furnished one bedroom unit, with all the expected bells and whistles. Hosts were lovely!

The views from the room and the continental breakfast. It was so thoughtful and filled with local NZ produce. Also the booklet explaining the local areas and even the plants in the garden was fantastic and cute.

We had a delightful overnight stay. Accommodation was clean, well equipped with a beautiful outlook.

The view,wow what a scenery, absolutely gorgeous, the bnb itself was beautiful,clean,tidy, nice lil treats. Loved it. Wanted to stay longer to check out more of the area.

The accommodation was super nice, they left on the lights in the evening for us to find the location after sunset. The check-in was super easy and the views were amazing. The counter and fridge were stacked with thoughtfully picked snacks and everything was super clean. We're happy to stay in Wake Field again!

So so good. Great location - relaxing and quiet. Close to the great taste trail. Fantastic food and lovely new years treat in the fridge (bubbles for new years!) Will definitely be back!

Magnificent view over the mountains. Well decorated and comfortable cottage. We appreciated the treats in the fridge.

Nothing ! Perfect place to stay. It was a pity however we did not meet the owners, bed & breakfast is nowadays very often breakfast provided in the fridge (which we were not aware of when booking).

Gorgeous property! The attention to detail amazing ! Everything we needy & more ! A beautifully presented breakfast of delicious muesli & fruit topped with yogurt . Gorgeous little glass jars of jam waiting for us in the fridge ! The bed was so comfortable & a TV to watch from bed . Every little detail to make our stay an absolute pleasure ! Hot shower & self check in & check out …. the list goes on ! Recommend this property 10 out of 10!

Stunning view, such a beautiful little stay!

The self contained unit on a hill with great views over the Waimea plains was comfy, modern, well appointed and warm. It was located close to Wakefield and hade all the neccesities we required. The area was quite historic and we enjoyed exploring the neighbourhood. The hosts were friendly.

This is luxury! Brenda and Guy have created a beautiful space to enjoy away from the hustle and bustle of Nelson. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast provided was lovely. So many little things provided that made it feel so much more welcoming. The views are guaranteed and the alpacas were super cute. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Wake Field Views - a beautiful quiet location with an amazing view. It was modern and comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was yummy and the little extras were a nice touch.

It was close to where our grandson was staying with his group.

The view is beautiful. The view is so beautiful that we decided to have dinner in and make use of the bbq available. I enjoyed feeding the alpacas and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, plenty of yogurt, coffee , bread and spreads in the morning.

Location was great, not too far from anything, comfortable and warm room with everything you need.

Everything!! This was the most magical place to stay. Lovely warm greeting from Brenda, unexpected treats and drinks provided, generous breakfast supplies, super comfy bed, luxurious bathroom products, alpacas to feed!!! I could go on - this was the best experience of my 3 week trip staying at a variety of accommodations.

exceptional unit in a great location. all fittings appeared to be brand new and well laid out. thoughtful touches like wine beer and snacks as well as the breakfast goodies. very comfortable bed and so peaceful. the best unit that we have stayed in so far on our tour of the South Island

The views from the cottage are gorgeous! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. When they heard we were going to the beach they even set out some beach towels for us.

The cottage can get hot. Some insect screens on the windows/door or AC would make it more comfortable.

What an awesome location! Panoramic vista views of the rolling hills and right out to Nelson in the distance! We could even see the twinkling lights of the city by night. So quiet and peaceful. The perfect place for a quiet interlude from a busy life! The hosts were so lovely and friendly and inviting! Couldn't fault anything about our stay!

It was a great place to stay with lots of extra surprises! Chocolates on the bed, beverages in the fridge and chips etc. As we were going out to meet friends we didn't get to enjoy them all on this visit. It was very clean, it was quiet and the views are great.

It may need air conditioning in the summer as it was quite warm when we arrived but by opening all the windows it cooled enough.

I loved our stay at Grand Suites, we stopped here on our way further North to break up our drive and found it so comfortable that we did the same on the way home. It was lovely to say somewhere so modern, comfortable and clean.”
