The hotel was in a very central location. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable.

The toilet dripped continuously and loudly. The shower head had to be held as the fixing was broken. It was clear on the booking that there was a reserved parking space, but there was not one. We had to drive around the town to find somewhere, which was several minutes away. We asked about this and were told that there was no private parking.

Excellent breakfast. Very quiet room. Great location in the center of Kenmare.

The only chair in the room was a single wooden chair.

Well furnished with stove, oven, dishes etc. Had almost everything I needed except a little salt and pepper! Is located just behind the main street, easy to find, parking on the street. Everything about it was great except for the mattress1

Mattress was terrible and if you slept on one side you tended to roll off - really uncomfortable when everything else was GREAT! Also there is a workout studio behind it so thumping music in early am but that's not controllable. Close to restaurants, shops everything.

Great authentic old world Irish pub environment. The breakfast was splendid each morning. Ate dinner each evening and the food always very good. Drinks and entertainment pleasurable and fun. It was all good.

Ce pub est super pour y manger et passer une bonne soirée. Malheureusement, malgré les autres avis très positifs sur la propreté des chambres, soit nous sommes mal tombés soit nous n'avons pas tous les mêmes standards d'hygiène ! La chambre n'était pas propre, poussière, saletés, draps tachés, cheveux dans le lit ... Le pub étant bondé ce soir là, nous n'avons rien dit au personnel. Heureusement nous avions nos duvets car impossible de dormir dans des draps tachés. Donc bémol sur notre chambre, mais la partie pub en elle même nous avons adorés, compensant en quelque sorte les désagréments de la chambre !

We liked everything

This was one of the nicest rooms we had during our trip. The room was very clean with a spacious bathroom and well-functioning shower. The bed was also particularly comfortable. We did hear some music from the bar below, but it stopped at a reasonable hour and was absolutely a non-issue. Breakfast was lovely and we especially enjoyed our chat with the chef. I would definitely return!

I prefer uncarpeted rooms, but in this case the carpeting was new and clean.

Our room was very luxurious, large, modern and clean, we weren't expecting such a gorgeous room!

The hard chairs in the bar/ restaurant. The food was ok but the lack of comfort was enough to put us off having dinner there twice.

The staff was very friendly, making suggestions and recommendations for what to do and where to go. Comfy beds. Great location. The bar/restaurant downstairs and the breakfast was good.

The Internet connectivity was very intermittent. The noise from the bar didn’t bother us at all but early light sleepers would have a problem.

It was summer and we need air circulation ..coming from the US a/c is a must , but the bed was comfortable, but needed just a flat sheet to sleep as the duvet was very heavy in the warmth..

Nice size rooms with lots of natural light. Very quiet despite being above the pub. Right in the heart of Kenmare.

Location was great. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The fresh brown bread at breakfast was a winner.

The only negative I have is the room should have had a fan. It was warm in Ireland during our stay and a fan would have been appreciated.

The obvious challenge of the remote parking and having to carry luggage from car - limited choices for gluten free breakfast-( actually none!)

It's not a complaint as I know it's a pub accomodations but bsr and street noice wouldn't suit a young family. We didn't mind it but just something to consider for families. Also there was no mirror in the bedroom, only one was in the ensuite at the wash hand basin. Limited breakfast options (3).

I stayed in the studio apartment on the opposite side of the pub and on the backside of the building so it was actually very quiet. The apartment is small but very modern and clean and a good value for a single person or couple. The room has a "hide-a-bed" coach that was surprisingly comfortable. Private bathroom is small but clean and updated. Kitchen includes oven, stovetop, and small fridge although I didn't use it. I was able to park overnight in a parking lot directly behind the building for free. Restaurants and bars are right outside your door. There are some larger apartments that face the street that may have a different experience.

This was the cutest little place and I was so happy we stayed here

Breakfast was extremely poor quality for the price paid

Food at dinner was below average and in comparison to previous restaurants in the area portions were extremely small. Also no extra option when asked for gluten and dairy free - still delivered veg and potatoes with dairy. Had to ask for alternative and salad was small and mainly lettuce - not good at all.

We absolutely loved our stay in O Donnabhain's. The location was absolutely perfect and our room overlooked the main street with flowers cascading down from our window sills. The parking was on the street or in a parking lot close to the information center. We had no difficulty locating spaces to park even in the busiest tourist season and everywhere was an easy walk to the hotel. The town is walkable and compact, beautifully clean, lively and full of amazing music in the hotels and pubs. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious with tea and coffee if you wanted in your room. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels, even though we did not expect this! The bathroom was bright and spacious, very clean and the shower had great pressure with ample hot water. The staff were warm and friendly, especially the chef who also served us breakfast daily. She always greeted us with a beautiful warm smile and the cooked breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the music in the evening and chatting to the friendly bar tender. All in all a perfect stay.

Absolutely nothing.

De locatie midden in het centrum vlak bij de pub. Heel gezellige wijk met veel pubs en overal muziek en prima eten (diner) bij de pub van de eigenaar. Wij kregen geen kamer boven de pub maar een studio aan de overkant van de straat, geen probleem heel dichtbij. De studio was heel netjes met keuken etc. In feite meer een klein appartement dus.

Bij de boeking stond ontbijt inbegrepen maar dan was niet het geval helaas. Waarom niet kwamen we niet achter. En uitslapen is er niet bij want exact om 7 uur start de sportschool (20 meter afstand) met een gigantische herrie. Zelfs met de ramen potdicht blijf je die goed horen: een lage gebonk op ongeveer 180 bpm!

the townhouse was dirty it smelled of stale sheets it was loud all day and night. there's a gym right below that cranked techno with a screaming instructor at 6:30am

Een hele sfeervolle pub, met heel vriendelijk personeel en een fantastisch Iers ontbijt. Kamer was heel ruim en nieuw. In het midden van Kenmare. Eten s'avonds was ook geweldig met een goede selectie bier en whiskey.
