This place has a huge and beautiful dining room with a great view and I think it's a perfect place of events like weddings, birthdays, corporate events, conferences, team building meetings - day trips.
It's too far from the town center (30-40 minutes by tricyle) and so you spend a lot for transportation. There are only four native huts - spacious and nice but it's on the edge of the mountain and I don't feel comfortable. I don't think its a place to bring children.
Unique experience to stay in Native Inn.
great value for money, beautiful view over the rice terraces, very friendly owners who make you feel welcome at all times, great food

A very relaxing, beautiful place to stay. It was comfortable and I loved falling asleep to the sounds of nature every night. The staff was very nice and really accommodating. Yummy home cooked food every day as well. The huts and all of the facilities were kept clean daily and I would definitely stay here again
The views are breathtaking with much peace and quiet. It is a fabulous experience to stay at a traditional philipino nipa hut.
The location is far from everything, if you don't have your own transport you are fully reliant on the driver what the accommodation provides which comes at a cost.
All
None, the place , the owner and staff made our stay perfect. I highly recommend this place. It’s a paradise
As my first gueststay, I loved experiencing staying in the Ifugao tribe’s native home and learning about the history. Nina and Luc were lovely hosts.
We loved the location, the views are out of this world. The accomodation is unique as you would expect in a native village. The food was good but you do need to order in advance of your stay and Nina is very friendly and accomodating .
It is quite remote but worth the travel this was my 3 rd visit taking a group. Since Covid and recent major typhoons they have had some big challenges and whilst we were there a water pipe got damaged and we had no water in the evening however they fixed it quickly in the morning and we were then able to flush toilets and have a shower.
Everything
A quiet place with superb view while staying in native huts and enjoying the cool air around you. It's a place with natural vibe. Very pet friendly accommodation.
Beautiful spot! Absolutely the best host and staff. We arrived early with the bus from Manila and were able to check in at 6 am and also get coffe and breakfast!! We booked tours through the Inn and the guide was amazing and could tell and show all about the area. He also arranged a tour for 3 days to see more of the island. Ask for the guide Elvis. If I'll ever go to the Philippines again i would definitely visit again. Thank you for a great stay Nina:)
Great food and a very kind staff. The place is quiet, beautiful and at a very reasonable price.
Showers are outside the rooms and it can be complicated with young kids especially when it's raining.
The view from the restaurant is amazing. 😘 Nina and the staff are very friendly. We had a great stay. Thanks Native Village
We visited this place as a couple and highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in a native hut with breathtaking views of the rice terraces. The experience is truly unparalleled, providing a sense of serenity that is hard to find elsewhere. The owner and staff are incredibly hospitable and friendly, ensuring that our every need was met. The food was also delicious, adding to the overall experience. It's important to keep in mind that this is a place to experience living in the area, rather than an extravagant stay. As such, the bathrooms may not be fancy, but they are clean and tidy.
The staff were really kind and welcoming. The location of this place is STUNNING- the views all around are breathtaking. My cottage had a view across the whole valley. Bathroom was basic but had hot water and everything I needed. The food in the restaurant was a real treat. The whole place is quiet after about 8pm and the sounds of the wildlife all around are so soothing.
Excellent food. The owner makes very delicious Bolognese.
Location a bit far but it's okay
Amazing stay in a genuine native hut. The service here was impeccable, they didnt miss a beat. The facilities were always super clean and the accommodation was comfy. The food is incredible too! We were super impressed with everything and can't recommend it enough, especially if you want an authentic experience.
The only thing to reiterate is that the native inn location is very remote. Its a 20-25min tricycle into town (depending on the quality of the tric) and once you're there, its not convenient to get back into town regularly. So make sure you enquire with the tourism office re tours / get snacks before you head over. We didnt do that and almost had to book private tours from the accommodation because there were no other guests doing the same tours as us. Although its worth mentioning that their guide Kim was so helpful and would have been an excellent guide!!
the place and staff
the long trip but not an issue
The gorgeous native huts were perfect for our stay. It was serene, quiet and the food at the restaurant was some of the best we have ever eaten (the marinated chicken - best chicken we have ever had!). Kim Kim our guide was amazing. He was very insightful and made our stay very special. The ladies at the Native Inn were also friendly and very accomodating as well.
It is a distance from the town so any transportation must be done by a guide, however the cost is a very small fee.
beautiful surroundings on top of the mountain with amazing view from the traditional hut. we had alle diner twice. you must try the Chicken curry!! and the lady-owner and her family are very friendly and helpfull
I hit my head several times in the traditional hut because I am taller Than most Philippine people
love the location (great view) and the staff.
Based on our time spent in Banaue we were glad that we booked this Inn. While it is over the mountain ridge looking into a different valley, it also has rice terraces within view. The bonus is that there is very little else to compete with the beauty of the site.
We enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of the site as well as the personal care of the owner!
If you are searching for an authentic accommodation, a quite place with a beautiful view, and very friendly staff you're just right here! Have a great stay!
This place has amazing views and the people who run it are great! Everything was clean and the meals were delicious! As a vegan, who dislikes bugs and can't do without a bidet, this place delivered on all fronts!
It was a little tough to find, but some of the signage placed around the vicinity helped. In the morning, the toilet tanks would take too long to refill so you'd only get one flush and then would have to refill the toilet tanks using the bidets
Absolutely everything. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was beautiful and warm. The views were amazing. And the food was out of this world!
There is absolutely nothing that I can say I didn't like. Next time I'm in Banaue, I'll be staying here.
We really enjoyed our stay in the native village inn. Altjough the rooms are simple, they are very comfortable and practical. Much space to put your bags, many hangars for jackets etc. The bathroom facilities were shared but very clean and nice! View at the viewpoint really is amazing and you feel very peaceful. Food was excellent too and prices were fair. Personell was also really friendly and helpful. We also highly recommend booking the tour guide Kim for your time in Banaue, we had a great time with him and never would have discovered all these places and gotten to know so much about the culture and history if it weren’t for Kim! Thank you kuya for the great time!
We were a bit cold so bring enough warm clothes for the night in case it gets colder! Water pressure of the showers was weak, but they were warm!
The spectacular view and the fresh air
Nothing, I just want to share my idea maybe to have hammock or duyan outside to relax while enjoying the spectacular view can be perfect too.
it is for the experience to overnight in a wooden hut, the staff is very kind, pity that I stayed only 1 night
the access is a little tricky ask assistance from the property to find your way
The staff are amazing and Nina, the owner, is very accommodating. The views are spectacular and the facilities are super clean and comfortable. Will definitely suggest this place to other people!
We've done edtensive online research, and found this place to be prob the best in the area to combine native hospitality and breathtaking views with higher level of facilities and services. We normally stay on the more expensive side of the spectrum and I think here it is the same (not to say expensive rather compared to the area), but it's totally worth it! You will sleep in a native cabin, simple but has all you need. You will feel immerse in nature. You will have breakfast to an AMAZING view. Food is good, shared facilities (shower, toilet) are basic but are def better than others you can find in the area.. If you are coming this way you should def be ready with expectations. This place allows you to experience it all while maintaining good level of comfort.
The only thing I would say worth mentioning is that the wifi could be improved (but come on.. when you get to the are you'll understand) and that they only take cash (which is common in the PH).
