Very steep stairs to upper floors which we missed in the property description. This was difficult for anybody with mobility issues. Perhaps the stairs could be emphasised more or included in the photos?

The staff/host was very rude upon arrival to leave our bags early (after it was previously discussed). The host then demanded that the city tax be paid in cash and that they had no knowledge of electronic payments of any sort. They were very rude while trying to get a hold of them and did not make much of an effort to get back to me after providing all of my contact info. I would not recommend and I would nkt stay again.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026We received a warm welcome from Laurence and Daniel. They offered their kitchen for our use and made sure that all our needs were met. The location was great. So close to the Markt and yet on a quiet street at night.
There is nothing that displeased us. We would go back without hesitation.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026La struttura è facilmente raggiungibili in autobus dalla stazione del treno. E' veramente a due passi dal centro, dal Burg e dalla piazza centrale. La camera era davvero molto bella, comoda, quasi un piccolo appartamento. La proprietaria è stata davvero molto gentile, ci ha dato un sacco di informazioni utili. E' stato possibile lasciare i bagagli sia all'arrivo, nell'attesa che la camera fosse pronta, sia alla partenza, così abbiamo potuto ancora fare un bel giro per la città senza essere appesantiti dalle borse.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Il B&B è letteralmente ad 1 minuto dalla Piazza del mercato, in un vicolo molto tranquillo, ed è vicino praticamente a tutte le attrazioni principali, bar , ristoranti ecc... La camera pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario,anche se la nostra era quella piccola, era tutto molto funzionale.La signora è stata gentilissima e super disponibile! Se riusciamo a tornare qui x Natale sicuramente torneremo qui al Calis!!!!

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026We had a lovely time in this beautiful B&B. The room was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed - having a proper coffee machine was amazing. The owners are lovely and would happily help with anything needed. It was also great to have use of the main kitchen if we wanted it. Lastly, location is amazing - very central and close to one of the main bus routes to and from the main train station. I would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to my friends. Thank you!

La habitación era perfecta, preciosa, muy cómoda, con aire acondicionado para la ola de calor, y el baño perfecto y con ventana. Una pena no haber disfrutado más de la habitación y del salón-cocina comunitario. Y en cuanto a ka ubicación es insuperable.
Lo único que no me gustó es que las toallas olían un poco a húmedo, pero no era nada extremo y es comprensible.

She refreshed our rooms midway through our stay and made sure we had fresh towels, coffee, tea and glass bottled water at all times. She could not have been friendlier. The room was immaculate and was even better than the photos. The location is fantastic - just minutes walk from the historic centre.
Literally nothing to complain about. Like many Belgian houses, there are 2 flights of stairs to the room, so if you are not able bodied then that will possibly cause you an issue. It did not cause us any issues though.

Reviewed May 11, 2026Fantastische lokatie, klein straatje midden in het centrum. Wij vonden het 's nachts rustig, en sliepen prima. Zeer smaakvol ingerichte kamer met badkamer (op de tweede verdieping). Ook de algemeen te gebruiken ruime keuken met zeer ruime tafel op de begane grond is zeer mooi. Alles is schoon. Erg aardige gastvrouw. Fietsen waren dichtbij veilig te parkeren in de fietsenstalling van de stad.

El espacio en la habitación no era muy grande. Si es solo para dormir y pasar el día fuera sin problema.

Bagno piccolo ma sufficiente con grande doccia. All'entrata una cucina in condivisione da poter utilizzare tranquillamente. I proprietari, Laurence e Daniel super accoglienti e simpatici, sempre disponibili e gentili. Lo consiglierei.

The location is perfect, 2 minutes to Market Square and 1 minute away from the first of many pubs and restaurants, yet still the place is so quiet and peaceful. The room was great and the bed was super comfortable. Laurence was very friendly and very accommodating- she made us feel so welcome. Could not recommend Calis enough.

The room was excellent with a huge comfortable bed and tea/coffee making facilities. The location was perfect to see the wonderful city. I would definitely recommend B&B Calis and would stay there again should I return.

Unser Zimmer lag zur Straße raus, wodurch es manchmal leider etwas laut war. Die Treppe zum Zimmer war sehr steil und eng.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2025Located 2 minutes from the central square on a quiet street, so you can enjoy the city in the evening when all tourists are gone. Also, the shuttle to the bus and train station stops on a neighbouring street, otherwise, you may need to carry bags on gravel for 30 minutes. The apartment is fully and well equipped. It even provides you with an anti-mosquito device and an AC. There is a common area where you can play one of many board games or cook anything. Lots of delicious places around.

Per raggiungere il secondo piano, dove pernottavo, una ripida scala a chiocciola, e per salire nel salottino mansarda un'altrettanto ripida scala a pioli,.

We had made a mistake with our ongoing travel booking and they spent an hour or so sorting out new travel arrangements for us. They were the perfect host and hostess.

Laurence and Daniel's B&B has a ton of charm and style and we wanted for nothing during our all-too-short stay in beautiful Brugges. Laurence and Daniel were super welcoming and the best hosts possible. Bed was so comfortable, tea and coffee with kettle so welcome, and the shower was amazing. It is very conveniently located, 3 minutes walk to the main square, easy to get from the train station. The owners are very friendly. There is no problem to leave luggage before check in (in fact our apartment was ready earlier) and after check out.

We got to eat in the common area and they let us keep our luggage while we did a tour even though we had already checked out.
