The property is spotless and beautifully maintained, with décor that creates a homely yet elegant atmosphere. Reviewed Mar 30, 2026Very friendly staff. They assisted us whenever necessary. We visited 22 March for 1 night and my husband forgot his wedding band there. They kept it for us until we returned for our 2nd night, 27 March. Absolutely gratefull and blessed. We really recommend this guest house.

Reviewed Dec 31, 2025The rooms were clean, and the beds were relatively comfortable. The reception area and breakfast area were well done and appealing (not that we would know because we were not even told when breakfast was available).
We booked two rooms that were inexplicably far apart. Although the booking was for four people, one room had only a single towel, no hand towel, and broken towel rails that had clearly not been repaired. The bathroom in one room was enormous but poorly designed, with the bed pushed up against the open bathroom doors, making the space awkward and difficult to move around. To make matters worse, the room key was missing, and the person who assisted us showed little interest in finding a spare so we could secure the room. While this may have been due to regular staff being on holiday leave, the overall experience was disappointing. We left on our onward journey as soon as possible, about 7 AM, as there was no point in staying around longer. I would not return or recommend this accommodation.

The bathroom blinds were broken, the bathtub has a hole in it, the corners of the unit were all dirty, the wifi was terrible with no signal in my room and had to use my mobile data, the day I arrived one of the staff just entered the room without knocking and I locked my room after that as it felt like I had no privacy. The next day I went out for work and when I came back they were busy cleaning but did not consult with me regarding a time or anything, when i entered the room the TV was on max volume and she didn't even hear me enter, she also ate a peach and she just put the half eaten thing on the coffee table while working and not in a dustbin. I complained about the WiFi and that i have no signal and they just said that the wifi is on and that is it.

I didn't like the noise from the passage way, the Wi-Fi didn't work, the TV wasn't a smart TV because DStv programming gets redundant, there was no cutlery like teaspoons for tea at least, there was no shower door so the floor got wet, there was only 1 big towel, and only 1 tiny bar soap, no conditioner, no shower cap and no shampoo.
