Lovely room with comfortable bed. Well stocked guest area with comfortable chairs, tea and coffee making facilities. Good breakfast with freshly made eggs. Kat and Paul were very welcoming and accommodating and gave us excellent advice about areas to visit, suitable trails and local restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in the suite which was absolutely perfect for what we needed and more. So spacious and homely, the kitchen was fully equipped so we could cook, lovely living room space and balcony and everything was clean. It was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable- we slept so well here! We also went in the hot tub one evening which was great! Kat was so friendly and welcoming; she gave us a tour around the suite and facilities and gave us lots of helpful recommendations and tips for Golden, Yoho NP and Banff. 100% recommend. Thank you for a great stay.

Kath and Paul were the best host. They were very accommodating & friendly. They gave us recommendations around Golden. The property is very clean and our room was so cozy. We felt at home. We highly recommend this one and we will be back for sure!

Kat and Paul were very helpful. The rooms were immaculate and had everything you could possibly want, they've thought of everything. Decor is beautiful. Hot tub was a good addition. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Good blackout blinds in the bedrooms so slept well.

Not really a negative but maybe not to everyone's taste to have a communal breakfast table.

It was a lovely home away from home. Very tastefully furnished and in a lovely, quiet residential area of the city. There was a common area on the lower level where the bedrooms were and a hot tub which is always nice to enjoy after a long day. The mattress on our bed was much softer than what we are accustomed to but we woke up refreshed and ready for the day. ,

Nous avons adoré séjourner dans ce lodge. Nous serions bien restés plus longtemps. Très grande cuisine. Salle de bain très agréable. Lit King size et très confortable.

Everything was perfect. Paul and Kat were wonderful hosts and gave us some great local tips for places to visit, as well as great restaurant tips. The room was stunning, immaculately clean and the breakfast was great. Couldn't fault it.

Kat and Paul are wonderful hosts. The accommodation is lovely and close to Golden. Perfect spot for exploring Banff, Yoho and Kooteney national parks. The breakfast provided is exceptional.

Super adresse proche de Banff. c'est très agréable d'être accueilli en personne. Kat est une hôte très sympathique qui nous a donné de supers conseils et qui nous a aidés pour réserver la navette pour aller au Moraine lake. Un grand merci pour son aide 🙏 Le lit etait très confortable...nuit très agréable. Le petit-déjeuner était très copieux : œufs, jambon, pain et fruits délicieux. Le hot tub après 7h de route était un vrai bonheur. Nous serions bien restés quelques jours de plus dans ce super bed and Breakfast. Une belle adresse comme on aimerait en trouver plus dans le secteur de Banff

The room we were in was in need of a new bed. Both my wife and I felt like we were angled to the middle. Think it just needs a new mattress.

Kat s'est proposée pour réserver les navettes vers Lake Louise/Moraine et me faire envoyer la confirmation, car la procédure est tricky Le déjeuner offre un choix de fruits frais, céréales, œufs, toasts et j'en passe. C'est également un bon moment de partage entre les voyageurs L'espace extérieur comprends entre autre un jacuzzi. Un espace intérieur accessible a tous les voyageurs permet de se retrouver pour discuter et boire une boisson chaude ou froide.

Our stay at Canyon Ridge Lodge was absolutely outstanding and exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel genuinely welcome. The check-in process was much more than simply receiving the keys—they took the time to explain everything about the lodge and our room in detail, and they shared wonderful recommendations about the surrounding area, including the best places to visit and activities to enjoy. Their kindness, hospitality, and genuine care for their guests were truly exceptional. The room was beautiful, spotless, quiet, and very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The lodge itself has only a small number of rooms, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We also loved the shared lounge area, which included comfortable sofas, a refrigerator, and a well-stocked coffee, tea, and water station that was available throughout our stay. Breakfast was another highlight. It was personally prepared and served by the hosts every morning and was incredibly generous. There was a wonderful selection of fresh fruit, a wide variety of yogurts, juices, coffee, tea, several types of milk, different cereals, spreads, and delicious eggs and toast that were freshly made to order. Everything was fresh, plentiful, and served with great attention to detail. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay at Canyon Ridge Lodge. The exceptional hospitality, beautiful accommodations, and delicious breakfasts made this one of the best places we have ever stayed. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Golden area, and we would gladly return in the future!

Located in a nicer residential area, this was an upstairs one bed suite with its own livingroom/ well appointed kitchen/private bath, over the garage. Washer/dryer included. Comfortable and clean. They offered use of hot tub to guests.

One of the best accommodations during our three weeks in Canada. Kat is a fantastic host, super nice and cool and helps out with anything she can. She knows everything about the region, the best hikes and drives etc. The house is very nice, we enjoyed the hot tub, our room was big and very clean, great breakfast. THANK YOU ♡

Kat and her lovely family made us feel totally at home in their fabulous property. Our bedroom suite was perfect for our stay, the bed was very cozy and the breakfast experience, with all guests sharing the same large table, was excellent 👌

Top quality, clean accommodation with large, comfortable guest lounge with walk out to garden and hot tub where we sat out and had drinks at night. Nicest breakfast the whole 4 weeks in Canada and Cat's scrambled eggs the best ever tasted. Cat and Paul were really friendly and helpful hosts - as active mountain bikers were able to advise on where to go and what to do. Well located in pleasant residential suburb , just of main road and short drive into Golden centre.

Die Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Wir haben uns bewusst für Golden als Unterkunft entschieden, weil Banff und Lake Louise viel zu teuer sind. Die Vermieter sind herausragend. Man fühlt sich richtig in die Familie und Unterkunft integriert. Uns wurden viele Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Sogar das hauseigene Anti Bär Spray wurde uns für eine Wanderung geliehen. Kaffeemaschine steht für die Allgemeinheit zur Verfügung, sowie ein Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach. Den Hot tub dürfen alle Gäste benutzen. Wenn eine Familie 10 Punkte verdient als Gastgeber, dann kann die Antwort nur Kat und Paul heißen

The one-bedroom suite was actually a first floor apartment that was big & very spacious. Everything was super clean, the lounge area was very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped with a good sized table & 4 chairs, the bathroom was spotless & the bed/pillows was so comfy we were sad to leave! Great bed linen & towels. There was so much space for all of our belongings & a cute little balcony with a BBQ on it. There was also a shared jacuzzi in the garden, clean & ready for use. The suite is part of the large family home & there was another party of 6 using the B&B rooms, but we weren’t troubled by noise, in fact we heard nothing during our stay, it was so quiet. Kat was friendly & helpful on arrival, giving advice on restaurants, walking trails & places of interest. Would highly recommend whether you’re staying just a couple of nights in Golden, or more. It’s a lovely house in a beautifully appointed suburb just off the highway, a few minutes drive down into the town.

De mooie, schone kamer met smart tv en toegang tot de tuin en jacuzzi , het lekkere ontbijt klaar gemaakt door de Cat de eigenaresse, ook haar tips en leuke verhalen. Ook kon je gebruik maken van het koffiezet apparaat, ijskast en wasmachine.

Voor mezelf had het matras iets harder gemogen , voor mijn vrouw was het prima.

This is not a dislike, but for me, because I have a really bad bavk, it would have been great if the bed was a bit firmer, but others may love a soft bed.

We were in only one of three rooms and this felt like an extra firm bed which is harder for side sleepers like my spouse, it was perfect for me being a back sleeper!

1 bedroomed apartment within lodge which could easily pass as a permanent residence. Equipt with everything you could need however long yur stay. Met by the lovely Kat who explained everything to us about the accommodation and gave pointers on what to do, where to eat and answered our many questions.
