Es war absolut perfekt. Toller Empfang, sehr gutes Frühstück und extrem flexibel, wir benötigten ein sehr frühes Frühstück… gar kein Problem. Absolut empfehlenswert.👍🫶💪

We had only a short stay, one night and had to leave early, but it was a great experience. Karl was a great host!

Een fijne b&b. Heel verzorgd, fijne bedden en alles prima schoon. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Ook de lokatie was goed, buiten het centrum maar wel op loopafstand. Fijne grote tuin waar je ook gebruik van kan maken.

Drogheda viel ons erg tegen. Een echte ierse arbeidersstad. Centrum zaterdagavond na 20:00 is niet aan te bevelen. Maar bij de b&b merk je daar niets van, die is prima.

From the moment we arrived Mai was so welcoming and gave us ideas of where to visit in the area. The room was spacious, really comfy extra long bed. The en-suite was also spacious and has walk in shower. There are 2 ground floor guest bedrooms and then more upstairs. The cleanliness was exceptional and the breakfast was delicious. The location of the B&B was within walking distance to the town centre. Mai and Karl were always around if we need anything. Would definitely recommend Maple House B&B to our friends.

Amazing proprietor and guest care, beautiful accommodation and lovely breakfast. Comfy and homely in many aspects.

Location a bit out from centre but a minor issue for those who don't mind a walk or can work out bus routes.

We stayed here while attending a concert in Slane and even though it was an extremely busy weekend for the B&B, Mai was extremely warm and welcoming. Everything was so clean and exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was lovely and the room was perfect. This stay was even better than most hotels we have stayed in.

We hebben al eens eerder overnacht bij deze accommodatie. Vorige keer is het goed bevallen en dit keer weer. Prima kamer met fijne badkamer en enkele parkeerplaatsen op eigen terrein. De eigenaresse heeft een prachtige achtertuin en we kregen dit keer zelfs een privé-rondleiding. Voor ontbijt kregen we heerlijke vegan bananenpannenkoeken.

Alles war hervorragend - klare Empfehlung!

Die Vermieterin war sehr nett, das Frühstück hat prima geschmeckt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

This is a truly beautiful place, cosy, exceptional neat, the rooms were beautiful and very nicely set up, the hosts were awesome. They were very kind and charming. The breakfast was gorgeous. There was everything available freshly prepared. Will return here again

This Airbnb is in a great location when you visit newgrange and the Bru Na Boinne monuments. You can walk into Drogheda for dinner. The hosts are really nice. Breakfast was great with fruits and vegetables from their own garden. Room was very comfy. A great stay.

The owner was nice and friendly. The room was clean and spacy. The beakfast was very good.

The walls and the floor between the rooms have poor soundproofing - talking or phone/videocall in other room lasted more than half an hour after 10 pm and was disturbing.

We stayed at Maple House as were attending a wedding in Slane. Karl was fantastic & had no issue with us checking in early. The room was very spacious as was the ensuite. Very comfortable bed with a beautiful view to the back garden. Breakfast was amazing & we were well looked after by such kind hosts. We would definitely stay hrre again. Highly recommend.

The room was large. The bed was comfortable. The walk in shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Shampoo and shower gel were provided. It was walking distance to restaurants and pubs. There was a Circle K across the street. The breakfast was cooked to order and excellent. Mai let me use the house vacuum on my rental car since the Circle K vacuum was broken. The backyard was a garden masterpiece with flowers, vegetable garden, and even a greenhouse.

I woke up early at 0645. I wasn't going to get up until 9, but it was very noisy on the road and I had my windows closed.

We loved the location as we were flying out of Dublin the next morning. It was an easy drive to the airport and great for our last night's stay in Ireland.

There wasn't a great common space to hang out in. I love B&Bs for their more home-like stay and not being "stuck" in a room.

Overall my hosts were very welcoming, friendly. I liked my breakfast choice for each morning of my stay. I did like my room with a really good size ensuite bathroom. A very enjoyable experience staying there for my few days. Definitely recommend staying there as I will be again in the future. Thankyou again.

Comfortable cosy and central

Lovely family run business, very pleasant. Everything was perfect.

The owners are exceptional and very hospitable. The breakfast each morning was great! The rooms are perfect size for a couple, with luggage. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms were modern. I have no complaints. The bus stop is right outside, and there’s a small gas station across the street with most any snack.

This is a lovely B&B. The room was nice and the breakfast had many choices. The omelet I had was made to order and delicious. The host is very welcoming and made suggestions about where we could go for dinner and site-seeing.

Overall were it is handy to town and just of the motorway

Mai, Joe Joe, and Carl were AMAZING! Their hospitality began before we even arrived providing a google doc list of restaurants plus a helpful suggestion for laundry needs. From the moment we arrived we were treated so well. The breakfast each morning was super delish! I tried every menu item because we stayed 6 nights. My husband especially loved the omelet. Mai made sure to help us with a taxi to the train station and then Carl was kind enough to call the taxi as we were on our way back on the train (from Dublin). For some reason I was having trouble dialing the taxi service number and getting connected. Carl took care of it, and we were picked up upon our arrival. Mai was so personable. We chatted each day and learned about her family, the area and more. On our last day we had no plans to keep it flexible for us and provide time to pack and relax for our early flight home. Mai invited us to join her for a walk at Clougherhead. How kind! What a great walk and what a view! We saw so much of the area. We are so fortunate. Following our walk, we enjoyed a stop for coffee and toasties (ham, cheese & onion) with Mai and her husband Joe Joe (who met us there). I would HIGHLY recommend staying at Maple House B & B. It is a great location, beautiful amenities, but most importantly you are staying with a beautiful family who takes very good care of their guests. Thank you, thank you!!

The fact that we had to conclude our vacation and go home. That was the part we didn't like.

10/10 stay. As a lone female traveling for a medical course in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital I FELT VERY SAFE! The place is a 10 min walk from the hospital and right across is a petrol station+grocery shop+pharmacy. They also keep their front door closed 24/7 which adds to safety! The room was big and exceptionally clean and better than many hotels i've tried. I didnt get to try the breakfast as I always woke up late and had to run to the hospital quickly but it smelled delicious anyway! On my last day the kind house lady (I wish I got her name) packed me some fresh fruits before I headed outside because I missed breakfast again. It felt like home 🥰

Excellent location with parking and a complete breakfast. The facilities were clean and quiet. The hosts went beyond any expectation, were accommodating with an early check-in and so friendly that we have determined this is where we will stay moving forward on our annual trips.

I do not have any complaints about our four day stay and cannot say enough about the friendliness and assistance provided by the hosts.
