Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Comfortable and clean house within walking distance of town centre. Comfortable bed and pillows. Quality of breakfast was excellent- coffee very good. Our hosts Kevin and Mary were kind and attentive and most welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Morgens wurde ein hervorragendes irisches Frühstück serviert und da ich früh los musste, sogar schon um 7 Uhr. Ruhige Lage mit ausreichend gratis Parkplätzen vor der Haustür und bei Verfügbarkeit auf dem Hof. 10 Minuten zu Fuß in die Innenstadt, 15 Minuten zum Stadion oder 35 Minuten zum Bahnhof.

The cleanliness of the room, needs more of an eye for detail. The bed linen & towels were all fresh though.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Quartier résidentiel calme à 15 min à pied du centre. Très bon et copieux petit déjeuner. Chambres très propres. Serviable : a mis nos provisions au frigo pour la nuit.
Le système d’eau chaude pour les douches est extrêmement bruyant, attention à ne pas prendre une douche trop tard ou trop tôt. Literie bof. Accueil basique et impersonnel, nous avons été dans des B&B plus chaleureux. Ce n’est pas lié à l’établissement mais pour la vigilance des prochains voyageurs : nous avions réservé à cet endroit car le bus pour l’aéroport de Dublin passe à côté, sauf que l’arrêt n’est pas desservi le dimanche, nous avons donc dû marcher 25 min jusqu’à la station principale.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Needed somewhere to stay as my dad was taken into hospital overnight. The owners contacted me and let me check-in early as I was after staying awake all night with my dad in A&E. It was so welcome, I was exhausted. The room was so clean, bed so comfy, good sized room with ensuite, the breakfast the next morning was spot on. I'm a coffee lover and the coffee was excellent. Thank You so much, the owners were both so friendly and helpful.

When arriving was not made welcome cups in room 5 were dirty and coffee machine was covered in dust. Bathroom was awful and toilet was filthy not seen bleach in a while. Bedding was well worn would I stay again no after reading reviews was very disappointing and in comparison to other properties we had booked for our tour it was more expensive than hotels with gym and pools

Bedding - I removed a mattress protector (plastic backed) which was a little grotty from the bed b4 I used it. Also check-in was unacceptable to say the least - I stood outside for at least 10 minutes, knocking, shouting, ringing bells and then I phoned. I just listened to the phone ringing inside!!!. When I was about to give up and in a "What the hell do I do now"? fix, the door was finally opened by the owner, saying "Did you ring the bell"? Clearly had been eating and just decided to finish before opening the door!!! To be honest I was a little taken aback!!!

Zimmer extrem beengt. Ausstattung etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Etwas mehr Sauberkeit (v.a. am Frühstückstisch) wäre wünschenswert.

Reviewed Apr 29, 2026Foi fácil de achar, tinha estacionamento e estava desocupado. Meu quarto era no primeiro andar, então é sempre bom lembrar que em praticamente nenhum B&B terá elevador…O café da manhã estava ótimo, o anfitrião fez os ovos na hora, perguntando como eu gostaria.

The property was a bit away from the center, but there were 2 restaurants very close to the B&B. Friendly and helpful hosts.
The only thing which bothered me, was the lack of a matt in the shower cublicle, being an elderly lady, I found it was slippy to have a shower.
