Комфортный большой номер и очень чистая ванная комната. В номере предусмотрены необходимые мелочи: адаптер для розетки, свет у кровати и т.д. Хозяева очень доброжелательны и гостеприимны. Прекрасное удобное расположение дома. Отличное соотношение цены и качества, вкусный ланкийский завтрак на террасе номера.

Semplicemente fantastico. Colazione spaziale, abbondante e di una qualità superiore. Si sente che tutto è preparato al momento con amore e grande attenzione ai dettagli.

Wir sind absolut begeistert von unserem Aufenthalt in dem Homestay. Wir wurden von den super lieben Gastgebern mit einem Welcome Drink empfangen und am Abend mit einem Dinner for two überrascht! Die Gastgeber sind unfassbar freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Räume sind super sauber und unteranderem mit Klimaanlage und Mückennetz ausgestattet. Wir empfehlen das Homestay auf jeden Fall weiter und sind super traurig, dass wir nur eine Nacht bleiben konnten!

Wir haben die Unterkunft wärmstens von einer Freundin empfohlen bekommen. Und das definitiv zurecht. Lakmini und Sanath sind unglaublich tolle Gastgeber. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es war so herzlich. Die beiden haben uns schon vor Ankunft eine Jeep Safari organisiert und uns auch vor Ort mit verschiedenen Ausflügen weitergeholfen (Bootsfahrt zum Sonnenuntergang mit Blick auf die beiden Felsen, Kochkurs...) Wir haben in der Unterkunft gefrühstückt und zu Abend gegessen. Das Abendessen war einfach einmalig. Wäre ich nicht mit einer guten Freundin dort gewesen, hätte man schon fast einen Heiratsantrag machen können.:-) Sanath hat uns dazu den besten Cocktail zubereitet. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft so sehr empfehlen!

Tout était excellent. Un accueil incroyable, une chambre très propre et décorée pour notre arrivée, un magnifique dîner romantique. Une famille extrêmement serviable qui nous a organisé un safari éléphants, et tous nos transports. Une cuisinière hors paire! Bref, je recommande les yeux fermés. Un séjour qui nous n’oublierons pas!!!

Unfassbar nette und hilfsbereite Besitzerfamilie. Super Lage (fußläufig zum Lion Rock) Man sollte unbedingt das angebotene Abendessen nutzen (4k pro Person). Es lohnt sich absolut (verschiedenste curries)

Gesamte Unterkunft und Lage top! Die Inhaber sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben bei ihnen ein tolles Sri Lanka typisches Frühstück bekommen, das war sehr lecker! Zudem haben sie uns für einen fairen Preis einen Fahrer zu unserer nächsten Unterkunft organisiert. Ein Aufenthalt in der Dream Villa Sigiriya ist sehr zu empfehlen.

The host is amazing! They will go out of your way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They arranged our bike and other tours. A good room size.

I don’t think you’ll find a better accomodation that ticks every box in Sigirya, possibly Sri Lanka.. This was my first stop in Sri Lanka and when I was still at home this family were reaching out to me. Doing all they could to give me a smooth journey and great value and they did the same even after I left them. They go above and beyond for you in anyway they can. Making sure you’re getting the most out of your trip, making the room as comfortable as possible and showed concern in safety. All of these things really stood out to me as a solo traveler. A very friendly, extremely accomodation and helpful family. It’s a pleasure to get to stay here!

The property was very comfortable, very clean and very good value with nothing to fault it … but staying at Dream Villas is more than that - it’s an experience and a genuine highlight of our Sri Lankan holiday. As most reviews have indicated the hosts were absolutely fantastic providing wonderful home-made food and a host of lovely touches including an evening meal on the rooftop which will remain a memory for life. Generous, friendly and engaged, our hosts arranged scooters; elephant jeep safaris and transportation. A week later Latmini was still helping us out from afar, helping organising transport around the country which made things very easy. Dream Villas is a great choice, it’s easy walking distance from Lion Rock; close to a few bars and restaurants and the Home Stay itself - the best example of proper, honest hospitality. We travelled around Sri Lanka, staying in a range of lovely hotels but the one we’ll remember the most will be Dream Villas.

We had an amazing stay. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left Lakmini and Sanath were so friendly and accommodating. They gave us drinks on arrival and offered us a home cooked dinner as well. They also sorted our transport to our next destination! The place itself is definitely worth the price you’re paying and I would recommend it to others. It’s only a short walk or tuk tuk away from restaurants and bars etc

Exceptional hosts throughout our stay. Lakmini ferried us about in the tuktuk and even took us shopping in Danbulla. He knows the whole village of Sigiriya so can help with anything. Sanath is an amazing cook and a beautiful soul. On our first night we asked if she could cook us a meal. It was an experience we will never forget. The food was top class, but the setting was on another level and a great surprise. A romantic dinner on the roof with heart, candles, music, fire and lighting. The room itself was modern, clean with a nice design. Shower was good and toiletries were provided. The only thing that could have been added was a little kettle and selection of tea/coffee. It's nice to have a drink when you wake up. Water bottles were replenished throughout our stay and we were blessed with snacks and other beautiful goodies. The location was very good and close to many experiences. Thank you Lakmini and Sanath for being such caring hosts ❤️

Owner and staff are client oriented and very welcoming. The room and bed is big sized and everything is clean and tidy. Moreover, the owner is very well connected and happy to organize any kind of service (tour, transfer) required. I highly recommend Dream Villa for a stay in Sigyria!

Dream Villa is a must if you’re visiting Sigiriya. The park is just a short walk away, making it easy for early morning visits. Our hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Their service was the best experience with accommodations in our Sri Lanka trip. The breakfast was as dreamy as well. Every day we had something different and all of them were very delicious. This is the kind of place where the hospitality is as memorable as the destination itself. We cannot recommend Dream Villa highly enough!

Die Gastgeber waren einfach unbeschreiblich lieb. Sie haben sich wunderbar um uns gekümmert, es gab ein Begrüßungsgetränk und uns sogar bei der Abreise mit dem Bus geholfen und mit Wasser und einem Snack versorgt. Beide waren absolut hilfsbereit und haben uns alle Fragen beantwortet. Zur Begrüßung haben sie aus Handtüchern einen Elefanten auf dem Bett geformt. Die Unterkunft ist super liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr praktisch zum Eingang des Löwenfelsens gelegen. Wir sind zu Fuß bis dort gelaufen. Wir hatten eine kleine Sitzecke draußen und ein großes Schlafzimmer mit gut funktionierender Klimaanlage und Mückennetz.

Das einzige was man vielleicht erwähnen könnte war die Badezimmertür, die nicht richtig geschlossen hat, aber für uns war das kein Problem.

Die Familie war sehr gastfreundlich und hat uns bei all unseren Aktivitäten geholfen.

Die Gastgeber sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Sie haben alles für uns organisiert und ohne aufdringlich zu sein, Programmvorschläge gemacht und Tipps gegeben. Sehr zu empfehlen sind das candlelight Dinner und das Frühstück. Sehr gutes, leckeres Essen. Die organisierte Elephant Safari und Bootstour waren auch sehr gut. Auch die Organisation der An- und Weiterreise war gut und unkompliziert. Unser Host hat uns mit dem Tuktuk zum Pidurangala Rock gefahren. Das war sehr praktisch. Man kann zu Fuß zum Lions Rock laufen oder für wenig Geld ein TukTuk nehmen (auch morgens um 4:30 Uhr) waren schon einige unterwegs und konnten uns mitnehmen.

Les propriétaires sont fantastiques. Toujours prêts à aider et d'une gentillesse incroyable. Les déjeuners et le souper sur le toit sont excellents. Le lit est confortable, la chambre est grande. La location près des restaurants et du rocher du lion est parfaite. Je recommande fortement cet endroit.

Il n'y avait pas beaucoup de pression d'eau dans la douche.

Auf unserer gesamten Sri Lanka Reise war das unsere Lieblingsunterkunft. Lakmini und seine Frau haben uns so herzlich empfangen und während unseres Aufenthalts unterstützt. Das Frühstück war so lecker- sehr vielseitig und abwechslungsreich. Lakmini hat uns bei verschiedenen Transferen unterstützt- nach Dambulla, zum Pidurangala Rock, vom Flughafen und auch nach Kandy. Er war immer sofort erreichbar und hat sich direkt gekümmert. Wenn wir nochmal nach Sri Lanka reisen, werden wir wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für diese Gastfreundlichkeit!

Enjoyed my stay here. Lovely family and close to shops and walkable to sirigiya rock. Bed lovely decorated and grape juice on arrival. Organised my onward travel to Kandy too.

Sink in bathroom could have been cleaner. Everything else was good.

Dream Villa Sigiriya is located very close to the Lion Rock. The manager was always available for anything we needed, he also helped us arrange tuk-tuks to Dambulla and Pidurangala, and a long-distance taxi to Colombo. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean, with good AC.

Het gezin is super lief en behulpzaam, je kan ze altijd berichten. Ook is er een airco! Het ligt ook aan de main road waar eigenlijk alles is.

Very clean, great location with many eateries within 200m. Also right at the start of the street which makes it very accessible at night. Room was cool and had both aircon and fan. Lakmini and her husband were phenomenal hosts - had the best breakfast, very responsive and accommodating of all needs including making vegetarian breakfast for me, laundry, extra water and snacks for onward journey.

The location and value for money was great as was the breakfast which was never ending. The owner was very attentive and had arranged lots of trips for our neighbours. We had a driver so didn’t use the owner for any other arrangements but our neighbours said they had been amazing and had enjoyed the rooftop dining experience. The communication prior to check in was good

靴を脱いで上がるルールだったのが良かったです。そのため室内は清潔ですが、室内履きは持参したほうが良いです。部屋は広くて、ホットシャワーだし、蚊帳もついています。何より歯ブラシ・髭剃り・シャンプー・シャワージェルを置いてくれていてありがたかったです。この価格帯の宿では珍しいと思います。ご主人もにこやかで、真心を感じるゲストハウスです。

不満ではなく、注意点として、ホットシャワーの水圧は弱いです。髪が短い方向けかも知れません。水も電気も貴重ですから工夫して浴びる必要があります。自身の反省点として、現金のみだっったことを見落として迷惑をかけてしまいました。

Lakmini and his Wife were amazing during an after our stay. The accommodation was lovely, clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious, too. The location was great, roughly a 20 minute walk to the ticket office for Lion’s rock. The hosts also helped us organise our transport throughout the rest of our trip at a competitive rate through friends of theirs around the country.

オーナーご夫妻のホスピタリティが素晴らしい。 ゲストハウスにオーナーが常駐しているわけではないが、Booking.comのメッセージ機能やWhatsAppなどで連絡を取ったりあるいはオーナーのご家族が表通りの角から2軒目の食品店も経営しているので、そこで呼べば問題ない。 シギリヤロックまで歩いて行ける場所にあり、サンセットを見に行くときも便利だった。 全部で2部屋のゲストハウスでテラス付き。 広々としたベッドルームとバスルームで構成されていて天井も非常に高い。 エアコンあり。 朝食やディナーの手配も可能。ただし近くにレストランなどは結構ある。

ベッドルームと比べるとバスルームは少し改善の余地があるかと思う。 なかなか排水されなかった。

とにかくオーナー夫妻が優しい。一人旅だったからか、話しかけてくれるし、スナックもいただいた。ツアーなどの強要もない。わたしは旅のプランで、通常のサファリツアーの時間には参加できないがサファリには行きたいと話したら、アレンジメントしてくれた。部屋は清潔でかわいくまとめられ、奥さん手作りの夕食もとても美味しかった。

De kamer zelf was heel ruim, heel netjes/schoon en super leuk opgemaakt met onze naam. We kregen een heel warm welkom toen we aan kwamen. Het bed sliep ook erg lekker en was ruim. Goeie warme douche. Wat echt onze verwachting overtrof was de gastvriendelijkheid van de hosts Lakmini en Sanath 🙏🏼💗 Je leest overal dat mensen vriendelijk zijn, dat is ook zo, maar zoals hier hebben we nog niet meegemaakt. Ze organiseerde een romantisch diner met lekker en veel eten. Ook de cocktail was om te smullen. We konden ze altijd bereiken als er iets was en stonden meteen voor ons klaar. Op aanraden van de hosts hebben we een hele leuke woodcarving workshop gedaan en een cooking class. Er werd ook vervoer met tuk tuk geregeld als dit nodig was. Mede door de gastvrijheid van deze mensen hebben we onze stay met een dag verlengd. Echt heel erg fijn. Voor deze mensen is niks te gek. Echt een 1000% aanrader als je in Sigiriya wil verblijven!

De wifi deed het niet altijd, maar de hosts hebben er alles aan gedaan om het werkend te krijgen.

Alles war perfekt - besonders hervorzuheben sind die Gastgeber! Wir wurden super freundlich empfangen und bei unserer Reise jederzeit unterstützt (Tipps für Unternehmungen, Organisation von Fahrten). Die Gastgeber sind absolut zuvorkommend und wir wurden mit vielen kleinen liebevollen Gesten überrascht. Ergänzend war das candle light dinner, welches vor Ort organisiert wurde, eine einmalige Erfahrung, woran wir uns immer erinnern werden☺️ Auch das Frühstück wurde für uns frisch zubereitet und ist super lecker. Wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit sehr wohl gefühlt und es war der beste Aufenthalt, den wir je hatten☺️

The room was spacious and very clean. The hosts are incredibly kind and generous, and they even took us to Minneriya National Park. You can do laundry as well. I fully recommend.

Diese unfassbare Gastfreundlichkeit der Hosts ist unvergesslich. Wir denken sehr oft und gerne an die Zeit in Sigiriya zurück. Wir wurden am Tag der Ankunft mit einem Candlelight-Dinner begrüßt, jeden Tag mit neuen Frühstücksköstlichkeiten überrascht und sie haben für uns Taxis und sonstige Unternehmungen (Safaris, Kochkurs usw.) gebucht. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, alles war sauber. Die kleine Terrasse vor dem Zimmer ist sehr einladend. Danke für die wunderschöne Zeit.

The hosts are very kind people who accommodated us in every way. We stayed for four days and didn't eat out once, as the meals on offer were unrivalled as the best food in Sri Lanka. We took all our trips in the surrounding area in the family's own tuk-tuk. The owners also organised for us all our individual taxi transfers in the country at very competitive prices.

Wonderful stay! The hosts, a lovely couple, were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. Breakfast was rich, tasty, and abundant. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful experience staying here. The host family truly went above and beyond to make our stay special – from organising our safari and transfers to surprising us with treats and helping us get lunch, their kindness and attentiveness blew us away. We ate dinner at the property on our first night and it was absolutely amazing – highly recommend signing up for it, you won’t regret it! Breakfasts were also outstanding – so generous that we didn’t need to eat again until dinner! The setting is peaceful and quiet, yet only a few minutes from shops and cafes, and it’s perfectly located for visiting Lion’s Rock. An absolutely perfect stay – we only wish we could have stayed longer.

We were warmly welcomed by the hosts with a delicious candle light dinner. The food was absolutely incredible! We chose the home made breakfast every day of our stay because it was so good. During our stay they helped us with daytrips. Also our tuktuk had a petrol leak which they saw and they helped us to fix it with a local mechanical guy. We would recommend this stay to anyone who’s is coming to Sigiriya!

The room is nice and clean. The hosts are very nice people who are always willing to help you if you need something. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged and are prepared by the hosts. Both are amazing so definitely try these if you are staying here!

The hosts were very hospitable and they took good care of us. Instead of going to eat at a restaurant we ate at Dream Villa Sigiriya. The hosts prepared a special dinner for us under the moonlight. The food was divine. Furthermore Lakmini and Sanat helped us to make the necessary arrangements for the Elephant Safari, the sunset lake boat tour and visiting Polonnaruwa. We are really grateful for their help and fir treating us as one of their family. I would really recommend Dream Villa Sigiriya to whoever needs an accomodation in the vicinities if Sigiriya.

We had a wonderful stay here and felt very well taken care of. Everything was just as described and more. - Great value for money - They organised safari, tuk-tuk, and other services for us at the same or better price than elsewhere - Delicious food and a room that looked exactly like in the pictures - Warm welcome and helpful throughout our stay - The safari was great; they really made sure we had the best view of the elephants - Thoughtful extras like water for the trip and checking in to make sure we were safe - Gave great tips and recommendations - The only thing we wouldn’t personally recommend is the cooking class they suggested, but that’s not a reflection on the hotel itself. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was spotlessly clean and in a great location (we walked to climb lions rock for sunrise). Above all the hosts were amazingly welcoming and put on a lovely atmospheric dinner on the rooftop. The breakfast we had after climbing lions rock was the best food we have had in Sri Lanka (traditional Sri Lankan breakfast).

We only stayed one night - we wish we had stayed longer!

The couple at this property are one of the most sweetest we met across our one month travel in Sri Lanka, they couldn’t do anymore for us. We had a beautiful rooftop dinner, the room itself was spacious, bright and comfortable and great value for money! No complaints and I highly recommend you use them in Sigiriya! Had a great safari trip with them and they organised all our travel to and from for a really great price. Couldn’t thank them enough for their hospitality.

This home stay really was an oasis of peace and kindness. The owners are the loviest people I’ve ever met and really went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. You can tell how much they love what they do and no request is too much. The rooms were 10/10, super clean and comfortable with great AC. The home cooked meals were honestly some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. The owners know the area extremely well and gave us recommendations for our whole trip and even sorted out all of our travel. I really can’t recommend this place enough I will definitely be back!

This is a guesthouse with two standard rooms, spatious, clean and comfortable. What makes the difference and stands out, is the love put into this guesthouse by the owners. They will make you feel at home and help you any way they can! It is a great place to be, in a perfect location!

What a wonderful stay! The hotel was spotless, with a super clean and spacious bathroom, everything felt fresh and well cared for. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the amazing family who runs it. Lakmini and family were so warm and welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my last night there. Their kindness and hospitality genuinely made my day. Could not ask for more gracious hosts. They were so hospitable. If you have the opportunity to have dinner there we would highly recommend it!

The owners of this homestay were very friendly and helpful. They even added special touches like welcome decorations in the room. It's centrally located, clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showering!

There's a clothing rack with plenty of space to hang clothes, but it would nice to have a small closet or something with actual hangers to hang clothes up. Just a suggestion. Another thing I want to mention is the payment currency. On booking.com, it specified that this hotel takes payment in USD cash. I specially converted some money to USD to pay for this accommodation. But the owner requested payment in LKR instead. Eventually he reluctantly accepted the USD when I told him that's all I had. I found this to be an issue anywhere (especially homestays) where you had to pay cash.

From the moment we arrived, the host and his wife made sure that we were looked after to the fullest extent. They took our bags to our room, prepared a beautiful welcome decoration on the bed in the shape of an elephant and gave us plenty of thoughtful recommendations for activities - including useful advice about going out at night due to the presence of wild elephants in the area. They made us a delicious, filling breakfast every morning and the host even set up a private romantic dinner on the rooftop. We had all of our taxi transfers arranged smoothly for a reasonable price, and the host checked that we were okay when we arrived at our next destination safely! Everything was clean and modern, and we could not have asked for more. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Sigiriya, and feel like our experience would have been nowhere near as amazing without their care and hospitality.

Our only regret was not being able to stay there longer.

I had a wonderful one-night stay at Dream Villa, which is run by a very kind and welcoming couple. The dinner and breakfast were fantastic and copious. I highly recommend the fruit mocktail offered with the dinner. The owner has a tuc tuc and is happy to transport you to local attractions. The owner brought me to Pidurangala Rock and arranged for transport for me to an ayurvedic massage clinic and to the Colombo airport. The hotel is very well located, within walking distance of Sigiriya Rock. The room was large and clean. It had a mosquito net, but I didn't need it, as there were no mosquitos in the room.

The main thing was how friendly and attentive the owners are - they go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need. We felt really welcomed and safe! They organised tuktuks and private taxis whenever we needed. The location is ideal as it is just off the main road so there isn’t any noise but still in walking distance to most places. The room has everything you need; it is clean, the air con works well and the bed is comfortable. For £15 a night it is really good value for money.

We’ve been travelling Asia for 5 months and this is our FAVOURITE place we’ve stayed. Sanath, Lakmini and their family are perfect hosts. They are so friendly and really care that you have a good time. The room is spotless, comfortable and the aircon is great. Lakmini cooked us dinner twice and they were the best meals we’ve had in Sri Lanka. You have to get one of Sanath’s cocktails too! Breakfast was equally delicious and different every day. We booked a safari through them and Sanath came along to help point animals out. When we didn’t see any elephants in Minneriya they took us to the Eco park for a discounted price. We also used their laundry service which was good and reasonably priced. You will love staying here.

Everything was absolutely amazing! We have just left from two nights here and I can’t fault it, after travelling for almost 5 months I can safely say this is the best place we have stayed. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, we really felt at home here. They did us a beautiful meal both nights and breakfast too which was delicious! The room was also immaculate and clean! They also organised us a lovely sunset boat trip to see lions rock which was also beautiful. We will never forget them and will definitely be a highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka!
