B&B Al Mare Sorrento

AC works wel!! A lot of older hotels in Italy have questionable AC (it doesn't really keep up with the heat), but at Al Mare which is within an old building the AC was perfect! Bed was comfy, minibar was reasonably priced, everything was just was you'd expect it. And the staff are absolutely amazing, nothing is too much; genuinely the most attentive and genuine people I've ever met in hospitality. Couldn't fault the stay *at all*, and I'm usually quite fussy!

Nós amamos a hospedagem, tudo limpo e muito bonito! Mas o que mais nos impressionou foi a hospitalidade e gentileza de Frederico e Maria. São pessoas que amam o que fazem e isso faz toda a diferença.

Un des établissements préférés de notre voyage en Italie, dans un cadre très très bien mis en valeur par ses propriétaires. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons eu de très bonnes recommandations pour nos visites (Pompei, restaurants, lieux à visiter, etc...) La chambre était très bien équipée et surtout avec goût.

Nos gustó todo. Si pudiéramos agregar algo, solo diríamos que tal vez podrían agregar algún clóset o cajones para guardar ropa, pero en general la habitación 10/10

Excellent location - we could walk to everything, near a park in a quiet area, small view of the sea between two buildings, very secure (four locked doors between street and room), spacious room with kettle and fridge, well decorated and comfy bed. Air conditioned! Excellent staff-very helpful and responsive

Shower pressure could have been better and hot water sometimes ran out. It wasn’t an issue for us.

Great location, super close to downtown and the beach, everything is just a short walk away. Room was cleaned every day. Air conditioned and had all basic amenities. Stocked mini fridge. Hosts were wonderful, super helpful, responsive, and informative!

The location is very convenient at Sorrento, within walking distance to many local attractions. When we arrived, the host waited for us in the courtyard, and helped to carry the luggages to the room. When we checked out, he called a taxi for us and hauled our luggage to the meeting point.

The shower water is a bit slow.

Central location with secure parking. Excellent hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Room good size and well equipped. Lovely breakfast in the room. Would definitely recommend.

Si tratta di una soluzione centrale e vicina a grandi strutture alberghiere, pulita, con tutto ciò che è necessario. Chi la gestisce è molto gentile anche per quanto riguarda l'aiuto per il bagaglio, dato che ci sono delle scale. È possibile, avvertendo, parcheggiare l'auto all'interno in prossimità del giardino. Rilevante la convenienza del rapporto qualità prezzo.

Non posso lamentarmi di nulla.

La ubicación es perfecta para recorrer rápidamente los lugares icónicos frente al mar. Muy hermosa la habitación y cómoda con todo lo necesario para descansar de manera segura y confortable.

Toller und freundlicher Kontakt. Die Villa ist wunderschön und die Zimmer geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Unterkunft ist nah zum Strand und das Auto ist sicher abgestellt.

Everything was truly special. The hosts were kind, very quick to respond, and super accommodating! The location was also perfect, close to everything. The room was beautiful and clean. Stay here for a comfortable, relaxing vacation.

The location was very close to the coast. We were only a few minutes (walking) from everything Sorrento has to offer. We met Federico & Maria when we first arrived. They were very welcoming and provided us with everything we needed. The entry area of our room gave us additional space for luggage which was great compared to the usual limited space of hotel rooms. We watched very little television but they had a smart tv so we were able to quickly catch up on news and even watch a short YouTube video about the area.

Everything was great but be aware...one of the beautiful aspects of Sorrento is the cobblestone streets. These are difficult to use when attempting to roll luggage. You have to drag it instead. Make sure you know where the elevator (lift) down to the beach is located. (Villa Comunale park) It opens early and closes late and cost a few euros depending on whether you have luggage. Arriving by ferry (from Naples) is easier than the bus & train and helps avoid traffic. We didn't use a taxi but we heard they're very expensive for just a 2-3 minute ride.

Excellent location with a nice sea view. The place was clean and peaceful.

The only small downside was that the mattress was a bit too soft for my preference, but overall it was a pleasant stay.

Super friendly and warm welcome from Federico and Maria. Upon arriving he helped us to park and took our bags up the stairs. The location is perfectly central and easy access to the ferry to Capri. Best customer service I have experienced at any accommodation. We are already looking forward to staying here again next time.

Great location and really enjoyed the space to unwind in a room with a glimpse of the sea from the balcony.

A little bit more maintenance on lights in the room would have been nice, (a couple were not working). However the hosts were prompt to respond to all enquiries and made some really great recommendations so generally happy!

Soggiorno stupendo nel cuore di Sorrento. Menzione speciale per l’accoglienza e l’ospitalità: ragazzi gentili e disponibili per qualsiasi necessità. La cura che i ragazzi mostrano nell’accogliere i loro ospiti è possibile ritrovarla anche in ogni angolo della struttura. La stanza in cui abbiamo soggiornato era davvero bella e caratteristica, presente tutto il necessario. Presente il parcheggio all’interno della struttura (davvero comodo a Sorrento). Noi abbiamo soggiornato ad inizio agosto e lo consiglieremo sicuramente a tutti

We had an amazing stay at B&B Al Mara! The location was perfect, the rooms design was very fitting for the area and also spacious! But most of all we loved the hospitality and kindness of hosts Maria and Federico! They were very welcoming to us and always helpful and positively involved. It goes without saying that we would definitely recommend staying at this B&B!

Fantastic host!

Otroligt trevligt värdpar, stort och fräscht rum med liten balkong mot gränden. De saknade allrum/terrass så frukosten som man köper till serverades på rummet. Ligger väldigt centralt nära både Marina Grande och de centrala gatorna med mycket restauranger och butiker.

Det saknades allrum/terass/trädgård, i övrigt var allt toppen med det hyrda rummet och servicen vi fick 🤗

Great location to access Marina Grande and Sorrento town centre. Central but also tucked away and quiet on a night. Room well furnished in a bold style, very spacious. Very clean. Good shower and effective aircon. Very slight sea view too!

Quite a lot of keys to carry around to access property and room but that’s only a minor niggle! Safe in room was tiny.

The room was spacious, very secure, well stocked, comfortable and close to both the busy part of town, and the quiet beach area. The hosts were very kind and provided a map of the area and info about transportation options.

The only down side (not the host’s fault) was the noise from the street below the window (cars, & motorcycles) during the day, but it was quiet before 8 am and after 10.

The location was spot on perfect, very close to the beach and the centro storico as well as the main part of the town. The room was spacious and we had a lovely little view to the ocean. Parking was easy and very convenient, very safe as well. The best part about the property though were the hosts, they’re absolutely wonderful and lovely, very helpful and sweet.

The location of B&B Al Mare was excellent for us, being both close to the Marina and the center (but away from the noise to ensure a peaceful night's sleep). The hosts (Maria and Frederico) were excellent and welcomed us in the best possible way. They also helped us with all the information we asked for and prepared an exceptional breakfast. The room was exactly as in the photo and had all the items in the description. The bed and bathrooms were very comfortable.

Everything was perfect, the room was clean, also its near the beach, which has a lift nearby! I've loved the personal, i think they are owners, they were so cute, even they had a compliment as a limoncello and even they have a guide book for the stayers, where is everything located! And every detail of the interior, little corner for reading and terrace, even on the stairs flowers were lovely! Really recommend who wants to stay to vacation. The best experience, thanks to the service! Really glad that i've choose this hotel(b&b)!

Wonderful apartment in the centre of Sorrento. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony with a wonderful sea view. The hosts were amazing and helped us with luggage and also recommended good spots to eat and other activities!

We loved the location of our bnb! It was in a quiet corner of town but still very much close enough to get to everything we wanted - especially some magnificent deluxe hotel bars a couple of paces away. Truly felt like our own perfect apartment in Sorrento ☺️

I cannot say enough good things about Maria and Federico, they are absolutely incredible - such helpful information, really kind conversation, very quick messaging when we needed help, and even went so far as to carry our luggage up the steps! They had all the things we could need, including beverages for purchase already chilled in the room, A/C, beach towels, and and absolutely breathtaking view from their property. It was gorgeously decorated, incredibly located, and felt just so safe. I would come back to Sorrento simply to stay at this place again, and would recommend it HIGHLY to anyone staying in the Sorrento region.

Amazing location, we were able to walk everywhere in Sorrento town. Ferry nice and close and train station about a 10 minute walk. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. The room, though small still had everything we needed for 4 nights stay.

B&B Al Mare truly such a wonderful place to stay. Maria & Federico are amazing and wonderful hosts, are so hospitable and welcoming. They always made sure we had everything we needed .Тhey gave us very useful advice on choosing restaurants and excursions. Our room was very clean and comfortable The location is great, in the center of everything, literally just a few minutes from the beach and port and marina, which is the best place for seafood. I would highly recommend staying at B&B Al Mare .
