Reviewed May 26, 2026It was lovely and quiet, very clean, warm and cozy. So lovely to open the curtains and see the cows just outside. Only a couple of minutes drive into Alexandra, with an awesome place just down the road for lunch call Orchard Garden. Highly recommend.

Function centre next door playing loud music till 11:30pm, surely not a regular occurance it seems looking at other reveiws. Bathroom a little tight. Rug in the entry way very slippery, bit of hazard.

Reviewed Feb 28, 2026Very peaceful cottage just a short drive from the lovely township of Clyde and not far to Alexandra for any necessary supplies. The hosts are very personable and keen to ensure the stay is pleasurable. A well stocked breakfast basket was provided with freshly picked tomatoes from the greenhouse, good solid bread, a range of spreads, fruit and cereal. A very nice find!

Beautiful scenery and views all around, very close to Alexandra town. Perfect stay for sitting my driving test there early in the morning.

Reviewed Apr 22, 2025The B&B was comfortable and suited to an overnight stay. The cabin was small but had the basics. It had a relaxing outlook onto the farm let. The cabin was very clean and tidy.
Sandflies/midgies outside from early afternoon made it very uncomfortable to relax. Not much can be done about this I understand but it is good to be forewarned.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2025The best ever place we stayed so far. A simple warm little cottage with beautiful view of mountains and some cows. Great facilities. A friendly owner with warm welcome and basket full of delicious food for breakfast. Its simply a heaven for the night. Shower got lot of preasure 😁. If you stay go bit early so you can have a walk around as its such a beautiful surrounding. Highly recommend this and im looking forward to stay another night here .

Warren the owner met us and brought a basket of breakfast goodies to the cottage which is away from the main house and has a sunny porch with small table and chairs for outside relaxation. Microwave, small refrigerator, dishes, coffee machine were all on hand for a short stay. Good WIFI and easy to use TV. Nice large parking area and the grounds were very serene and bucolic.
Just a tip for those that are either very tall or overweight, the bathroom is very narrow and knees will touch the wall if using the toilet. The shower was large for the room which was nice.

I needed to pay with cash which I had to go to the bank to get. Fortunately it wasn’t far.
