Este alojamiento está al final de la calle principal en Sigiriya, fácil para ir andando a los resturantes pero tranquilo al estar en un callejón. El personal era muy amable y simpático, te preparan el desayuno a la hora y está bastante rico. La habitación era para 3 con 2 camas de matrimonio y baño incluido. Muy buena estancia y relación calidad-precio muy buena.

L emplacement légèrement excentré est en fait tres appréciable pour sortir de la route principale

Super logement. La chambre était spacieuse, grande et propre. Avec climatisation et eau chaude. Les propriétaires étaient adorables, ils nous ont même appris à jouer à un jeu indien. Je recommande ce logement les yeux fermés le petit dej était délicieux

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet endroit et c’était génial. Tout était parfait, la propreté de la chambre, le confort, l’accueil.. la chambre est équipée de moustiquaires, de climatisation et est d’un réel calme. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et copieux et les hôtes chaleureux et généreux. Petit mention à Bendo qui nous a accompagné et saluait durant notre séjour. Un environnement de détente entouré d’animaux et de nature qui n’attend que vous ! Merci pour tout 🤗

Ik kan alleen maar zeggen top! Zalig rustig gelegen, super vriendelijke man en vrouw die het uitbaten, grote kamers en badkamers, proper en een zalig ontbijt! We hadden een Safari opstaan en moesten daardoor om 6.30 in de ochtend vertrekken. Was geen probleem voor mevrouw om 6u stond ons ontbijt klaar! Op veel andere accomodaties kan dit niet voor 8 u. Dus we vonden dat echt top! Echt meer dan zijn geld waard! Op wandel afstand van enkele leuke en lekkere restaurantjes en ook maar 15min wandelen van het ‘centrum’ en ongeveer 20 min wandelen tot een van de vieuwpoints van de Lion rock

Wirklich eine riesen Empfehlung, wenn ihr in Sigiriya seid. Das Deluxe Zimmer mit Balkon war wirklich richtig groß und sehr sauber. Das Bad war super und auch die Betten waren bequem. Die Klimaanlage hat sehr gut funktioniert, was man in Sigiriya im Mai auch wirklich braucht. Da wird es nämlich schon sehr schnell wirklich warm. Aber das Highlight war definitiv der Balkon. Man hatte einen schönen Blick in die Natur und konnte eine Vielzahl an Tieren beobachten. Wir haben einen Pfau auf der Lichtung gesehen und auch einige Affen. Das Frühstück wird einen auch immer auf dem Balkon serviert und man kann mit diesem Ausblick wunderbar in den Tag starten. Die Besitzer sind wirklich so herzliche Menschen. Wir haben uns super wohl dort gefühlt. Uns wurde wirklich jeder Wunsch erfüllt: ein Tuk-Tuk zum Sonnenaufgang zum Pidurangala Rock - kein Problem mein Vater fährt euch; eine Tuk-Tuk nach Dambulla an unserem Abreisetag um uns zum Bus nach Colombo zu bringen -kein Problem, ich warte sogar bis der Bus abgefahren ist, damit ihr in den richtigen steigt. Wirklich einfach so liebe Menschen. Man kann auch dort seine Wäsche waschen lassen was wirklich sehr praktisch ist. Selbst als es einen Abend stark gewittert hat, hat es ein bisschen in unser Zimmer geregnet (aber wirklich nicht schlimm) sie haben uns gleich Handtücher und einen Eimer hingestellt und haben es am nächsten Tag gleich auf dem Dach gefixt und uns auch ein anderes Zimmer angeboten. Es war aber wirklich nicht schlimm und hatte dann mit Ende des Gewitters auch schon wieder aufgehört. Ach ja und sie haben uns bei unserer Abreise sogar das Frühstück eingepackt für unsere lange Busreise. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wirklich nicht genug empfehlen. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt auch komplett und man ist nah an den Restaurants und auch zum Pidurangala Rock waren es 10-15 Minuten mit dem Tuk-Tuk. Also wirklich top. Ach ja natürlich darf man bei der Bewertung nicht den zuckersüßen Hund Brando vergessen.

Das WLAN hat nicht wirklich funktioniert, aber da wir eine eigene singhalesische SIM-Karte hatten, war das für uns kein Problem.

Our stay in sigiriya was so nice, the family were so lovely and friendly to us. You can walk to different restaurants or take a tuk tuk to the main area of sigirya.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, alles war wunderbar, wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Es ist die perfekte Lage um viel zu unternehmen, tolle Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Familie ist sehr freundlich und macht tolle Frühstück, wir würde immer wieder kommen!

The property is in a great location, very close to restaurants while still being calm and peaceful with lots of trees and greenery around. The room was spacious with two large double beds, which made the stay very comfortable. The best part of the stay was the host. Although they didn’t speak much English, they were extremely kind and accommodating. I arrived quite late one night around 11 PM and thought I might miss breakfast the next day since breakfast is usually until 11 AM, but the host kindly offered to prepare it for me anyway, which I really appreciated. They also have two small dogs at the property, and one of them often came around to greet me, which was a very nice touch. Overall, the hosts were very kind people and the stay was great.

Unglaublich schöne Lage im Grünen. Es ist sehr ruhig und friedlich. Die Einrichtung ist sehr einfach, aber liebevoll. Die Besitzer sind unfassbar herzlich und geben sich Mühe, einem alles zu ermöglichen. Und wir haben ausgezeichnetes Frühstück bekommen.

Die Luftfeuchtigkeit hat sich auch im Zimmer bemerkbar gemacht. Es hat sehr unangenehm gerochen. Wir mussten die Klimaanlage ausstellen, um den Geruch zu minimieren.

Super liebe Gastgeber, die uns sogar vor unserer Safari früh morgens ein Frühstück machten! :) Ausblick vom Zimmer super, direkt ins Grüne und total ruhige entspannte Lage. Einen ganz lieben Hund gab es auch, wir werden ihn vermissen :(

Es war schon viel Schimmel überall, was durch das Klima aber wohl kaum vermeidbar ist.

Tout s'est très bien passé lors de notre sejour. Le logement était spacieux, avec un petit espace extérieur. Le petit déjeuner était bon. Concernant les équipements, il y avait une bouilloire un petit plus pour nous. Le personnel était disponible et accueillant.

Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas toujours très bien.

Close to all the restaurants but still in a quiet and peaceful surrounding. Really nice, comfortable and big room. Perfect hot shower and a really big towel was provider. The breakfasts every morning were really tasteful and homemade as well and really lovely owners of the villa.

Schöner Ort, ruhig und super liebe Familie.

We had a very pleasant stay here. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and we truly enjoyed our time. The resident dogs, Brando and Teddy, were absolutely lovely. Brando is a charming old gentleman who liked to nap outside our door and gently demand affection — impossible not to fall in love with him. Teddy is still a puppy, a tiny piranha of energy, but adorable all the same. Breakfast was generous and very tasty, with a good variety of options. Our only concern was seeing the older man hit the puppy to quiet him. We did mention that this is not an appropriate way to train a dog, and we hope more gentle methods will be used in the future. Also, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell coming from the drain, which was a bit uncomfortable. The woman of the house was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a comfortable and memorable place to stay.

Excellent guest house in Sigirya - the family is really sweet and provides me excellent meals ! They are discreet and nice. I highly recommend it's calm no noise at all and near the rock!

Beautiful local family. Made us feel so welcome and they have the nicest dog. Very close to walk to food, beautiful property, they made breakfast and dinner for us which was delicious and convenient. We will definitely be back. Rooms are basic but large in size with a nice patio at the front.

A bit too expensive breakfast compering other homestays that we have been. The room smells of damp but this is quite common in sri lanka. Even those that was great stay there.

Fantastic location, a short walk away from restaurants and only a 10 minute scooter ride from Lion’s rock. The family is really wonderful and kind. Spacious room with a mosquito net over the bed and a cute outdoor area for breakfast. Loved the dog and kittens :)

An amazing stay right in the jungle! Clean rooms, amazing breakfast! A restaurant just across the street, where we went every evening! The price is very good for what you get :-) The owner is so friendly and we loved the house dog who was very cute and kind and protected our terasse from monkeys or elephants. We had a Tuktuk so it was easy accessible!

We had an exceptional stay here! The place exceeded our expectations with its peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the owner personally took us to Pidurangala Rock at 5:30 am by tuk-tuk to see the sunrise, and waited for us (extra fee). The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and truly authentic. As a lovely parting gesture, we received magnets during check-out. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and memorable experience!

We had a lovely stay at this homestay villa run by a welcoming and friendly family. From the moment we arrived, the ladies greeted us with warm smiles, helped us with our luggage, and even offered us drinks, which was a thoughtful touch. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-suited for three people, equipped with AC and a mosquito net (though we didn’t need to use it). One of the highlights of our stay was their adorable dog, Brandon—the cutest and most friendly companion during our time there! We opted to have breakfast with the family, which was a delightful experience. The coconut roti, fresh fruits, eggs, and coffee or tea were delicious and a great way to start the day. The homestay is very quiet, making it perfect for those who love nature and are looking to unwind. Its location is convenient too—just a 30-minute walk to Lion’s Rock and close to several restaurants. The only minor downside was a slight smell in the bathroom, but it didn’t take away from the overall comfort of our stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-filled retreat with warm hospitality, this is a great choice!

everything was amazing! the family are the most generous people I have met and made us feel so comfortable during our stay. Whenever we had any questions or requests we were met with kindness and generosity. The homestay is located in nature so it’s a beautiful place to relax after a day exploring. Our room was spotless and clean. Breakfast was great and we were offered many cups of tea during the stay! Also we loved the dog and the kittens!!

Bigger room than expected. Super nice and courteous host! Just a short walk from shops and restaus. A simple but tasty breakfast is (freshly made and different variations everyday) served on the terrace. Support for trips was uncomplicated and spontaneously feasible. Very good price performance ratio! Thanks for the great hospitality!

It was an amazing stay and great hospitality shown by the host and his family. The breakfast served there was probably one of the best in Sri Lanka and it's located very close to the Sigiriya Lion's Rock. RECOMMENDED

Very new, clean and comfy rooms in a lush green environment of a coconut garden, also lots of animals to look at and rice fields surrounding the property. You can even see the Sigiri-Rock from the backyard. The host is super nice and helps you with everything you might need. There are three rooms right now but we were the only ones here.

The breakfast was ok.

The place is quite far from the main road and the owner's dogs keep barking at strangers, so it is very uncomfortable to go out after dark. There were a lot of ants in the bathroom.

Amazing place to stay in Sigiriya. The rooms are huge, location is perfect, just 5min walking to the main entrance to Lion Rock hike. But the best part was the breakfast, it was the best breakfast we have had so far in Sri Lanka.
