Reviewed Apr 27, 2026Unterkunft liegt nicht direkt im Zentrum, aber man kann zu Fuß laufen und ist in angemessener Zeit bei den Restaurants. Die Unterkunft selbst ist im Grunde eine Einliegerwohnung im Erdgeschoss des Hauses. Man kommt durch den gemeinsamen Eingang und geht dann rechts in die Wohnung. Es gibt ein Bad und separates WC sowie Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer. IM Wohnzimmer steht ein Kühlschrank und ist eine Küchzeile vorhanden (man kann dort nicht kochen). Geschirr wird durch die Inhaber täglich gereinigt. Es gibt vor Ort Milch, Saft, Tee, Kaffee, Obst und ein paar Süßigkeiten, die inklusive sind. Das Haus ist modern und mit doppeltverglasten Fenstern versehen. Insgesamt ansprechend eingerichtet. Prospekte für Aktivitäten in der Ungebung sind zahlreich vorhanden. Wer zum Hot Water Beach will, bekommt kostenlos Handtücher und Schaufeln gestellt. Parkplatz inklusive.

Reviewed Mar 20, 2026Exceptional warmth and generosity from our hosts. Well beyond expectations with provided fresh fruit and cookies along with ample milk and juice in the fridge. Even though we didn't take advantage of it, they offered the tide chart for Hot Water Beach along with shovels and beach towels. Our dishes were washed for us each day as well. Outstanding value for the best accomodation for our entire 6 week trip.

Bequemes Bett, tolles Bad mit großer Wanne + Dusche und extra WC, die gesamte Apartment Einrichtung sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das gesamte Haus von aussen top gepflegt mit Garten, in einer ebenso gepflegten Gegend. Die Besitzer Faith und Ralph sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen, vielen Dank nochmals für die tolle Unterkunft.

Reviewed Dec 11, 2025Wir dürften zwei Nächte hier übernachten. So liebe Inhaber. Die Wohnung im Erdgeschoss ist so liebevoll bis ins Detail eingerichtet, dass ist wie nach Hause kommen. Einfach einzigartig! Alle Zimmer super schön!! Zugang zum Garten mit Wäscheständer- sehr praktisch! Frisches Wasser, Saft, Obst und Schokoriegel gab es!! Zudem gab's schaufeln und Handtücher für den hot water beach!! Und tolle Gespräche mit guten Tipps für unsereTage!! Vielen dank nochmal!! Besser geht es nicht!

Only a 10/15 min walk into the town and ideally situated to explore the Coromandel Area. Ralph gave us lots of information about the local area and great recommendations for restaurants. Highly recommended.

Reviewed Nov 20, 2024We were met at the accommodation by Faith and Ralph who were lovely people throughout our stay. They gave us our privacy but were around if we needed advice or assistance. Ralph even offered to bring in our washing in the event that it rained so we could enjoy the afternoon in Coramandel and not worry about the weather. When we returned, the washing was off the line and folded neatly in a basket outside our room. What a champion! And to top it off, he recommended a resaurant with a seafood platter that was delicious.
We were a bit surprised that there weren't any cooking facilities but that's obviously something we overlooked when booking. The limitations were explained to us by Faith and this was understandable due to local restrictions.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2023The location of this property was interesting being close to an inland marina surrounded by what appeared to be expensive holiday homes. The area was very quiet with few people about although "downtown" Whitianga was more busy. The apartment has no means of cooking apart from a microwave and toaster which wasn't a problem for us as we ate in Whitianga, which has a good selection of places to eat. There is a private garden area to sit in which we didn't use, although a line out there for drying washing would have been useful.

Lots of local information available too. Fruit, yoghurts, bread, cereals , milk and fruit juice were available for breakfast with a supply of tea and coffee. Also very quiet, so a good place to rest up!

The unit itself is spotlessly clean. Lovely garden which guests can use too. Good breakfast items in the fridge. Very close to the centre of Whitianga and the supermarkets. We loved this place and will definitely stay again.
