Aotearoa Lodge

Relaxed and quite. Very friendly.

This is a fantastic place. The people that run it are really lovely and have been so great with all our changes.

Very comfortable stay. Very good value.

Pas très loin du centre-ville dans un secteur calme Bonne literie

Manque de meubles de rangement dans la chambre ou la salle de bains. Peu de produits de bain ( Davon shampoing). Moquette au sol et avec l’humidité odeur de renfermé

Nice quiet location, still close to town

The Location is good

Large rooms Great bathroom Neat and tidy Facilities if required

Nice staff. Tranquil

A little dated.

quietness

I really enjoyed my stay at the Aotearoa Hotel. The room was very comfortable, and the location was excellent—it fully met my expectations. Everything was spotless. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a very kind person. Overall, we are very happy with our stay.

The flexibility the shared kitchen and lounge facilities

Having to check out

Close to Hot beach and Cathedral cove. Date palms and Orange trees on site.

??

It was all wonderful. A peaceful area with easy access to town for food etc. The lodge was extremely clean and spacious with hot running water and a fabulous shower.

There was nothing we didn't like

Calme.fonctonnel

Sanitaire douche vetuste

Very quiet and nice hotel. Rooms are well equipped and the owner is very kind and friendly.

The location would depends on what are your plans. For us was a little be inconvenient

Very clean, comfortable and quiet The host was very friendly, welcoming and helpful

Very clean and nice rooms! Super friendly staff. Located just 5 mins from the town centre, but in a very quiet place. I’ll definitely come back later!

Easy to get to. Away from busy traffic. Was in a smaller, basic room in the main lodge.

Room was a little cramped, but was ok for a short stay.

location was nice and quite, close to town and easy to find when we arrived.

All was good.

Un peu bruyant entre les chambres mais bien équipé propre et à l’écart de la route

Convenient location and lovely staff.

It would be good if there was better signage i.e Office location

Room was clean, tidy and bed was comfortable.

self catering. Fridge and jug in the room. Just outside of town so had to drive to amenities, but that was ok, it was a lovely peaceful location. Friendly, helpful staff. Good value for money, secure, nice and clean, had everything we needed for a restful base. Communal kitchen facilities which were nice and clean. Good location as a base for sightseeing around the Coromandel. I would stay here again.

Shower was not really big enough for my 6 foot 4 husband. Property is quite dated, although clean and comfy, but that is reflected in the price, so I was happy with the booking. I am happy with simple amenities that are clean and have everything you need. Car parking was a bit tight for our ute. A bigger turning area is needed, or one way in and another gate to get out. No complaints overall, very good value stay.

The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. Was great to have aircon in the middle of summer. It was a lovely touch that we got a back deck to enjoy morning coffee on. The TV also swivelled off the wall so we could watch something late at night in bed. It was also convenient that everything was a 3-5minute drive. The owner was friendly and welcoming to top it all off. I would come back and stay again.

Would have been nice for the shower to be more updated with a removable shower head. The floor was a bit hard even with carpet. Having the fridge on before arrival would have been a good touch so our food could keep cold.

Good design , clean and nice

Nothing

Nice villas, with privacy and clean modern space. Ample parking space and very helpful staff. 10/10 recommend!

Accueil propreté confort

Lovely spot. Room was comfortable, staff were really nice and very accommodating. Would happily recommend

Nice staff and very like the kind reminder

Sheet is wet and hair dryer need update or buy a new one

The lodge was clean and cozy. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Lovely rural location. Well stocked fridge and breakfast food options. Michael was very welcoming and explained everything to us very thoroughly.

Nothing I can think of

The location was good; away from the main streets and so was quiet in the evening. I like seeing the birds in the garden using the bird bath, and the other birds out the back in the trees. I liked the colourful giant flower/tree plants in the gardens. The gardens looked well maintained. The host was friendly and greeted us nicely.

I couldn't pick anything that I didn't like. It was all good.

Location and staff

The pricing feels high considering the facilities provided and the relatively small room size.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The location was also great, which is just minutes away from the city centre. Room was very clean too.

Although we were lucky the neighbors were quiet during our stay, the soundproof was not so great at this hotel, as you can hear almost everything the neighbors make. We also didn't like the bed that much.

Clean and near beach but without the crowd

Nothing

Was clean but expensive needed to be updated and more tv programming.

The price

Room was spotless. Table and chairs on my own personal patio overlooking the front garden. Quiet and peaceful location. Nice feeling/good quality bed linens. Bed made everyday. Corkscrew provided! Only place ive been that has ramp acces which is so useful when you have anything with wheels. Plug sockets were within reach of mirror which not all places i stayed had.

Could do with a couple of bits of cutlery such as a plate and knife, though these were available in the communal kitchen/lounge. Parking was a bit tight and not sure if they were full. It looked like a few people parked on the road. Not a problem, just something to be aware of.

Rooms are big, very new, clean. Lots of parking, quiet. Friendly staff / owner. Totally beyond the rating.

None, everything is perfect.

Good location and very friendly staff. Well maintained and clean!

It was a little dated.

Basic room, very clean. Use of guest lounge made the visit. Good location just out of town.

Shower was weak.

The bed was better than other places I've stayed at

The deck needs to be redone and a bathroom upgrade

Room is very nice and clean, has also a little kitchen and everything you need to enjoy a meal.

L'accueil était super ! Les conseils du propriétaire étaient parfaits (la nourriture, les endroits à visiter..)

La chambre était très humide

Location was good and staff friendly.

Super nette und hilfsbreite Mitarbeiter, sehr sauber! Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt.

Rent och välordnat

Lite långt utanför Whitiangi,,finns ingen restaurang eller liknande i närheten..lite trångt rum

Extremely clean and friendly staff

Wonderful place and they were very warm and kind!! All of them are perfect! I want to visit again.

Nothing

A quiet peaceful location and we were looked after with such kindness and always a smile. The place was clean and comfortable. Close to everything but far enough away for peace. Choi even left me wine and a lovely note for my birthday

It was all great. I would stay again and recommend

Very handy location I didn't have breakfast there as it wasn't included.

Everything available with King sized bed….
