Felt like a good old-fashioned BnB, a little quirky, slightly rundown, but with very friendly hosts who offered a lovely breakfast.

Usually it’s a 3 minute walk from a Dart station, but the Dart wasn’t running the weekend that we were there (which meant a lot of walking back and forth to Dun Laoghaire!) Apparently this happens regularly on weekends. This is not the BnB’s fault of course (!), but it might be worth checking before booking if the Dart is running. If yes, it’s a great location, if not, it’s quite far.

Zero water pressure. Door from hallway to room didn’t fully close. Host wasn’t very kind.

Vanuit de BB in een rustig oud huis, na een heerlijk compleet ontbijt, konden we gemakkelijk met de Dart naar Dublin of naar de stranden aan de kust.

It was a beautiful old B&B .

I didn't like the stupid reviews that it got from previous customers. It's an old house , the couple running it are doing it for an income ,they re not tech millionaires.The food was great, the pillows were plentiful and the steps of the stairs were wide . Someone complained about having to lift their suitcases up the stairs .It's a B& B ! The photos showed the size and shape of the house.By the way ,the street parking was free.

The owners were very welcoming to the property. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and our evening meal at Daniel's restaurant (run by Daniel who is the chef and owner) was very hospitable and the food was excellent. We would definitely stay at Claremont again.

Posizone ottima nella parte migliore per visitare dublino e godere dle mare. Accoglienza di altri tempi . Si vive proprio secondo lo spirito del luogo e ci si sente a casa . Grande Daniel. Non mancare anche al visita al suo ristorante eccezionale per la zuppa di aragosta e per l'aragosta con scelta di vini di grandissima qualità

Location good. Very Close to Dart station. Quiet and peaceful, thus had good nights sleep. Hot Breakfast was good and wholesome, plus ability to make tea or coffee in Breakfast area at any time was appreciated. Friendly hostess and son, who I met on arrival. Nice walks by sea close by.

Missed having small desk to work at in room, plus no chair. Otherwise room quite comfortable and very clean.

The sitting room was bright and spacious with a TV. House was very hygienic. Hosts were very friendly. Excellent breakfast.

Die Lage war perfekt, nur 10 Minuten von der Seafront entfernt und 5 Minuten von der Dart Station. Wir hatten ein 4-Bett-Zimmer und es war klein aber fein. Es gab britisches bzw. Irisches Frühstück, also Ei mit Sausage und Bacon und verschiedene Müslisorten. Besonders hervorzuheben war die Sauberkeit.

Die Besitzerin war sehr wortkarg, Kommunikation fand eigentlich kaum statt. Das Haus ist im viktorianischen Stil, was ansich nicht schlecht ist, sondern durchaus besonders, die Einrichtung ist aber daher in die Jahre gekommen. Der Wasserdruck im Bad war quasi nicht vorhanden, daher war das Duschen eine kleine Herausforderung. Das Frühstück hätte mehr Angebot enthalten können. Ist die Frage was man in einem BnB erwartet, aber wir hätten uns noch Gemüse gewünscht, Naturjoghurt oder/ und auch mehr Aufstrich als nur Marmelade und Butter. Das ist nur eine persönliche Meinung.

Very quite and peaceful , area has a nice safe feeling. Just a few minutes walk to train which is great. Breakfast was lovely. Everything was clean. Access to tea and coffee, whenever you wanted

The breakfast was included. I didn't realise. Great stuff. I ended up having it. The staff were very nice. The location is perfect, right beside the DART. You can go to any of the locations you want along the coast on the DART train line quite easily. Get a LEAP card in a shop if you do. However, you can simply walk down to the coast. It's only about 400 meters. You can swim at the 40 foot also. Go to some other locations on the DART like Seapoint if you'd like easier beach access.

Fantastic location. Walked down into Dun Laoghaire and caught the Dart into Dublin. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, 20 min walk to the water and plenty or restaurants. was easy to park (for free).

Bed was comfortable room was clean and bath was nice addition.

Die Haltestelle der Regionalbahn erreicht man zu Fuss in 5 min. Auch die Gegend weiter südlich lohnt sich zu entdecken! Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr schmackhaft, wir konnten täglich wünschen wonach uns war. Zudem gab es frische Früchte. Auch tagsüber und abends konnten wir uns warme Getränke zubereiten. Hilfsbereite und liebenswürdie Gastgeber!

Die Wäsche im Bad wurde täglich gewechselt - aus ökologischer Sicht und für unsere Bedürfnisse war das übertrieben.

The peace and quiet, cleanliness and amazing hospitality. Safe for people with allergies like me. Very close to the DART station and only minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and the waterfront.

Breakfast was excellent. Owner more than pleasant. If he recommends his restaurant - as he did with us - take him at his word: excellent and a very interesting fairly-priced wine list.

Maybe our mistake, but if you have luggage, request a ground floor room. Room lock - very old-fashioned and we had trouble operating it. So many warning notices on shower that we did not use it.

This is a beautiful old house in a fabulous location. Lovely photos on the walls. The lounge is stunning. Comfy bed and bedding.

There was no tv in the room, which I wasn't aware of when booking. The tv in the lounge didn't work. The owner is incredibly quiet. I almost felt like in was in a 1950s guest house, where talking was disapproved off. Breakfast was well cooked but basic.

There were tea, coffee and biscuits available in the common room. The room was very clean.

The house is very dated and badly needs an upgrade. The smell as you enter the house is of old carpet. The bathroom is spacious, but there is only a trickle of water in the shower, and separate taps for hot and cold water in the sink. The bed was comfortable but the mattresses need to be changed. The doors and locks are old and it took me 10 minutes to get into my room, the key just wouldn’t turn. In overall this was the cheapest option in the area but still quite a sum of money for what it is.

Excellent location, very good hosts, lovely cooked breakfast with plenty of delicious brown soda bread. Bed was ultra comfortable and we had an excellent 2 nights sleep.

Hot water takes some time but only a minor inconvenience

Das Frühstück war frisch gekocht und allen Wünschen wurde erfüllt. Die Produkte waren qualitativ hochwertig und es wurde bei nichts gespart. Alles frisch gekocht und frisch zubereitet. Ann hat mir sogar den Adapter fürs Ladegerät sofort ausgeborgt, da ich leider vergessen hatte, dass es andere Steckdosen gibt. Und am nächsten Tag wurde ich gefragt, ob ich frische Handtücher brauche und ob in meinem Zimmer alles passt. Wirklich top, mehr kann ich nicht sagen. Ich komme definitiv wieder

Quiet and peaceful neighborhood with close proximity to the DART. Delightful breakfast in the morning.

Lodging rooms are located up a flight or more stairs, making it challenging with luggage.

We had a chance to walk to a local pub for dinner. Enjoyed another morning walk along the seaside park.

Friendly helpful Hosts. Nice breakfast with eggs, sausages, Müsli, Cornflakes, fresh rye bread, tea, coffee. Clean room and bathroom. I didn't go to their restaurant about 700 meters away from the House, but it is a nice opportunity to have some place for dinner nearby. A nice lovely arranged large sitting room.

Good bed, proximity to the DART station. Mostly quiet, you only hear other guests through ventilation and/or floors.

The place is in need of maintenance. There are traces of roof leaks here and there, missing tiles, warped wood. Bad ventilation in the bathroom. Stingy breakfast with only a single egg. Cramped on street parking. I'd also appreciate a kettle in the room, but the owner seems to prefer packing all available space with beds.

Mili właściciele. Cisza w pokoju. Pobyt w tradycyjnym domu. Dobre wifi. Blisko na stację kolejki (czas przejazdu do centrum Dublina około 30minut). Miła, spokojna, bezpieczna okolica.

Slabe ciśnienie ciepłej wody pod prysznicem z podgrzewacza przepływowego, ale wykąpać się jak najbardziej można:)

La ubicación es en un lugar tranquilo, con la estación de tren justo al lado. Llegas a Dublín en el DART en unos 40 minutos. Es un barrio residencial y relativamente cerca hay algunas tiendas, un pub y algunos restaurantes. La habitación estaba bien, con un baño propio, aunque se ve muy antiguo. El desayuno fue muy bueno.

El precio es alto, pero de lo mejor que puedes conseguir, teniendo en cuenta que Dublín es prohibitivo.

Chambre beaucoup trop chère pour le prix (220€ alors que les équipements sont un peu dépassés, le petit déjeuner composé de produits industriels). Quelques suggestions d’amélioration : pouvoir accéder à une pièce pour pique niquer au B&B comme le font de plus en plus d’hôtels et lieu de logement. Changer la douche dont la pression est trop faible pour pouvoir se laver les cheveux.
