Reviewed Jun 27, 2026The whole stay was pretty much perfect, a great room in this lovely B&B. Breakfast was excellent, host attentive and helpful. Within walking distance of the village shop, pubs and takeaway. Would definitely use again.
The only thing that wasn't ideal was not having a kettle in the room. The - admittedly well stocked - communal drinks facilities was fine but on the days I was up early I felt very awkward boiling a kettle outside other peoples rooms while they were - hopefully - still asleep.

Reviewed May 23, 2026It was set in a beautiful rural location. Very quiet. Helpful lovely hosts. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a good ensuite shower. The bathroom was small but perfectly adequate. Good breakfast in a conservatory with beautiful view.
As the house was in such a lovely location I thought the view from my room would be better. I was only there 1 night so it was ok. I knew when booking that the tea/coffee facilities were on the landing, which was fine, but there wasn't a spoon for the sugar. I had to pour from sugar container. I should have asked hosts for a spoon but didn't want to disturb them as it was about 9pm.
