Everything was as perfect as I expected… from our room to the breakfast table! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a lovely and very quiet place to stay.

The highlight is the setting: looking over Lough Bane, with amazing views, especially at sunset. It is the perfect place to spend a couple of relaxing days, hidden away from the world. Recommended.

Reviewed May 18, 2022Lough Bawn House is a charming, early 19th century estate with wonderful, expansive views of the lake and surrounding countryside. Our room was clean, well appointed, and very comfortable; the quiet and serene setting made for a great nights sleep. Plenty of room on the property for a lovely country walk through the gardens and along the crystal clear lake. Verity is a very charming and accommodating host, the breakfast she prepared for us each day was full of delicious locally sourced and home-made items perfectly prepared. Don't miss the opportunity to stay in this wonderful B & B when in the area, you will not be disappointed!
