Reviewed Sep 13, 2025A lovely peaceful location in the country totally unique to anything else I’ve been too. Made better by the owners cats!
The road to the property off the main road is a farm road only giving access to the property and surrounding fields meaning the centre of the road is high and over grown. This did cause damage to the underside of my vehicle. For the remainder of my stay the vehicle had to be parked out with the property. Not the end of the world however did make for some tense times getting the vehicle sorted.

It's a very, very small complaint, but the road down was dreadful... like I say, it's not even a complaint.

Reviewed Apr 22, 2024This is a great place for a couple who want to chill out or use it as a base to explore Ireland. The host really made us comfortable without intruding and we had everything and more that we needed. Simple things like condiments, bathroom basics and logs for the fire - all really useful things. We liked the isolated location and the log fire as well. It's basically a studio bungalow, for want of a better description - so perfect for a couple.
