Gorgeous spacious room with stunning views of the sea, the room was clean and Evelyn was such a warm and friendly hostess.

Fabulous house overlooking the ocean. Very clean and the owner was so friendly and welcoming! She left us check in before check in time and got up early to make breakfast as we had to be on the road early...I would highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in Southwind. The house is in a great location close to both Spanish Point and Whitestrand beaches with plenty of off-street parking . Our host Evelyn was very friendly and the house itself was spotless. Our bedroom was excellent, very spacious with en-suite and a fabulous sea view. Breakfast was a pleasure, generous portions and expertly cooked to order. All in all, we would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to stay with Evelyn in Southwind.

Room, with en-suite, was spacious, clean and comfortable. Friendly and welcoming hostess. Full Irish breakfast available that was freshly prepared and very good. Would willingly stay again.

Evelyn was so welcoming from the very first minute she met us. It genuinely felt like we were staying in a home away from home. She was so friendly and genuinely interested in our travels and plans for the weekend. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Very close walk to the Armada where we attended a wedding. We would definitely stay again!

Evelyn the host was amazing, she was so kind and accommodating. The location was also fantastic.

Clean and comfortable and within walking distance of a choice of places to eat for an evening meal but the outstanding memory of our stay was the friendliness and kindness of our gracious hostess. Highly recommended.

NOTHING REALLY, but I found that we could have done with a waste bin in the bedroom for old used tea bags and used milk waste. I was having to use the bin in the bathroom for all our waste.

The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, I arrived four hours early and was allowed an early check in. Breakfast was served every morning, the room was clean & the location was beautiful. Beautiful place & can’t thank the owners enough for how accommodating they were.

Evelyn the owner is an absolute gem and cooks an awesome breakfast. The view of the Atlantic from our room was stunning.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Die Gastgeberin ist eine sehr liebevolle und aufmerksame Frau, die sich äußerst bemüht, ihren Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Am nächsten Tag wurden wir mit einem frisch zubereiteten Frühstück verwöhnt, das keine Wünsche offen ließ. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt neben der Durchfahrtsstraße, wodurch man schnell und unkompliziert weiterreisen kann. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen

Ein Punkt, der uns persönlich nicht zugesagt hat, ist das in Irland teilweise noch übliche Kalt-/Warm-Waschbecken mit separaten Armaturen. Für uns war das ungewohnt und weniger komfortabel.

Evelyn is the host with the most! We were greeted by the loveliest lady on arrival and given a very spacious, spotless, warm and cosy room. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Highly recommend and will be back if in the area again. Ideal if attending a wedding at the Armada which is very close by!

We had a lovely stay at Southwind B&B for a wedding last week. The hosts went above and beyond for us and it was such a perfect location for the wedding in Spanish Point and really good value for the area and the quality of our room.

It was close to the Armada hotel where we had a wedding to attend and also a short drive to Lahinch. Facilities were great and host was lovely and helpful.
