Spotkała nas bardzo przykra sytuacja związana z pobytem w obiekcie. Okazało się, że nasza rezerwacja została odwołana w dniu naszego przyjazdu. Odwołanie nastąpiło z powodu zalania pokoju, w którym mieliśmy się zatrzymać. O całej sytuacji dowiedzieliśmy się... na miejscu, gdzie dotarliśmy około godziny 20. Okazało się, że dzwoniono do nas z obiektu - niestety tylko jeden raz, i to w momencie, w którym znajdowaliśmy się jeszcze w samolocie lecącym do Irlandii. W takiej sytuacji powinno się przynajmniej wysłać wiadomość SMS, aby poinformować o zaistniałej sytuacji. Wiadomość z booking.com informującą o odwołaniu rezerwacji otrzymaliśmy na skrzynkę mailową - niestety trafiła ona do spamu, więc nie zobaczyliśmy jej przed przyjazdem do obiektu. Cała sytuacja kosztowała nas niesamowicie dużo stresu, zwłaszcza, że był już wieczór a przed nami otworzyła się perspektywa braku noclegu na całą nadchodzącą noc. Właściciele próbowali nam pomóc kontaktując się z innymi obiektami w okolicy - nie było w nich jednak żadnego wolnego miejsca, więc odesłali nas z prośbą o kontakt z bookingiem oraz ewentualne rozejrzenie się po okolicy. Choć Pan Właściciel był bardzo miły i wyraźnie przejął się całym zdarzeniem, mógł nas chociaż poinformować w sposób inny niż jednorazowe połączenie telefoniczne, a nie zdawać się w pełni na booking. Proszę sobie wyobrazić, ile nerwów kosztowała nas ta sytuacja. Na szczęście, dzięki pomocy konsultantów z booking.com udało się nam znaleźć nocleg - musieliśmy jednak za niego zapłacić z własnej kieszeni, ponieważ pieniądze mogły zostać nam zwrócone dopiero po okresie kilkunastu dni roboczych. Gdybyśmy nie mieli wtedy na koncie wystarczających środków zostalibyśmy bez noclegu. Jest nam bardzo przykro, że musimy wystawić tak niską ocenę, rozumiemy, że sytuacje losowe się zdarzają, ale w takich sytuacjach tak powierzchowny kontakt z gośćmi jest niedopuszczalny. Gdyby nie pomoc konsultantów z booking.com zostalibyśmy pozostawieni na pastwę losu w obcym kraju.

Low ceiling (loft room) great use of space though! Very cozy, just that the bathroom was very small and cramped but it was fine for us!

Friendly hosts are very helpful with places to visit. Good Central location for exploring up and down the coast. Waking up to the sound of cows mooing. Powerful shower. Fridge, tea, coffee, and Cereal bowls

Very hospitable hosts, gave me a lift down to the hotel in Spanish Point where I was attending a wedding. Also very convenient location if need to walk. Excellent value for money.

Bed was comfortable. Host was very friendly, lovely garden.

Fridge didn’t work so couldn’t use milk as it was left out. Door was tricky to lock.

A quaint room in a lovely area just off the Atlantic Ocean. Phil was wonderful, giving us ideas for attractions and suggestions for inclement weather.

Did not realized until arrived breakfast not included. Some difficulty finding location.

I rode my motorcycle all the day under the rain, the lady immediately offered to dry my clothes. It was very nice of her. And even if we didn’t succeed in charging my electric motorcycle, she tried to find the best option for me. Very kind people, really customers oriented, I really appreciate that.

The bedroom had lovely views and had plenty of hot water. Sofa was little uncomfortable and as no breakfast being served a small table and chairs would have been useful. Heating never came on but we were asked to use electric fire if needed. Had been looking forward to using the hottub as after dancing quite stiff

Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Verbindungstür. Für uns war es ideal. Die Betten waren bequem, es war sauber und es gab ausreichend Handtücher. Wasserkocher und Kaffee waren vorhanden. Es gab sogar etwas Geschirr für unser Picknick im Zimmer.

Owners were very nice. The location was great, very close to the armada and a quick drive to a supermarket and other pubs/restaurants.

Large room in a quiet location with good facilities and friendly and helpful hosts. We chose this place as it was within our budget and slept 3 adults. Short drive to bars and restaurants. Best pressure in the electric shower!

The stairs to the room were a little steep and the sloped ceilings not great for tall people.

Hosts were really great! We were attending a wedding at the nearby bell bridge hotel and hosts offered us a lift down free of charge and with zero hesitation - thank you so much for that again! Room was comfortable and free parking available also.

Noel was warm and welcoming, greeting us at the door. They offered to dry our wet clothing from a long motorbike ride in the rain. The room was perfect with a cozy sun room to enjoy the stormy evening.

Location was close to Cliff of Moher, and Galway. Joint rooms give the adult privacy. There is a fridge in the room and microwave convenient for guests to use.

Spacious room in great location right on Spanish Point a short walk from the beach. No dining on site but The Armada hotel is around the corner has a great restaurant for dinner and an excellent coffee shop.

The room was nice and clean and everything supplied. Owners even gave us a lift to our party that we were attending.

No breakfast! When I booked it said Barkers Bed and Breakfast but I think this is a Booking. Com issue as it now says Barkers Accommodation!

Roads to get in and out of it were a bit tricky, being country roads with a wedding on at the end of it, but staff helped make it as manageable as they could

Es war wie gesagt eine Studentenunterkunft - aber dies wussten wir zuvor - es sollte nur allen klar sein, die dieses Haus buchen - zweckmäßig und völlig okay

Stanza molto spaziosa con grandi finestre.

Abbiamo incontrato una dei proprietari solo le mattina perché siamo arrivati molto tardi la sera ed è stata sempre molto gentile e preziosa nel fornirci informazioni sui percorsi o le cose da fare, come ad esempio la serata con live music nel pub del paese. Lo spazio esterno è molto carino e la struttura è collocata in un contesto molto tranquillo, ma vicino ad un paese dove ci sono tutti i servizi necessari.

Ci è mancata un po' la colazione (anche se sapevamo già non inclusa) e/o la possibilità di utilizzare uno spazio per cucinare qualcosa da soli.

Owners were exceedingly welcoming; provided tips regards local spots for great food and live music, and even offered to drop us into the town, which was about a mile away!

The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet and spacious

I was on the top floor and the last staircase is extremely steep and narrow. One needs to take extreme car coming down the stairs to avoid a fall and going up with luggage is a challenge. I had read about the friendly staff but I didn't see any of that. I was checked in given a key and told I was at the top of the second stairs. I never saw or heard anyone after that. The view from my room was of the caravan park which surrounds the house. In the far distance one could see some nice scenery Part of my room seemed to be used as a storage area. I didn't use the shower but when I checked in I was told that if it wasn't working to hold the showerhead down low to clear any air lock! The water pressure in the taps was very poor. After paying €110 I expect not to have to fiddle with the shower to get it to work. The room is spacious but on one side the ceiling slopes so one has to bend over to get to the kettle for tea or coffee. The accomodation is about 2km outside the town and while walkable it is advisable to make sure you are visible walking at night on the very narrow road. Very expensive for what I got.

The hot water ran out halfway through my shower; the socket went out of power in the middle of the night.
