Everything about this resort is really amazing. The staff is exceptional. The river view rooms are beautiful. Truly appreciate the many activities planned to entertain kids. Amenities are very well maintained and the infinity pool view is the best. The complimentary breakfast menu also was great 👍 overall exceptional experience.

Beautiful location with a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the surroundings were very scenic. We especially enjoyed the greenery and the view. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

There is no proper explanation about the restaurant package that is available, which is causing confusion and resulting in significant expenses. The price is ten times that of outside restaurants, and the quality is not appreciated compared to those outside. It is recommended to get food from outside restaurants to avoid excessive costs; by getting a parcel before 7 PM and taking a ride to a nearby restaurant for breakfast in the morning, it is better. By doing so, you can extend your stay for an additional day or cover the food expenses for ten extra persons.

Friendly staff

One of the best stays I ever had with my family. We all thoroughly enjoyed the stay, the views, the swimming pool, the breakfast and the ambience.

Although everything was perfect there was an issue with water in the bathroom initially and there was a sort of stink from it as well..

Veel schimmel op de muren vanwege het vocht, en het ruikt ook muf. hierdoor zou ik niet meer terug komen in dit hotel. Klacht werd ook niet serieus genomen.

The food is expensive. Everything else is fine, but one boiled egg ordered for kid's dinner was Rs.399!

The food was bad, really bad. There are no options to go and eat outside so we had to rely on the hotel food. Every meat dish we ordered was like rubber / hard. When we asked the staff, we were told the main Chef is on leave and it was a second in command who was cooking. If you dont have a regular and good Chef you should not just pass on sub standard meal especially when you are charging a high and full price. Kerala is the land of sea food and we were told all the meat (mutton, beef, fish) items were not tasty and nice because they were using frozen meat! We were driving around the area quite a bit and we could see that so many fresh fish outlets. Why would you serve frozen items in a place like Kerala where fresh meat and fish is so easily available. Breakfast spread was also below average. For the tariff you are charging, the meals can be much better. The Swimming Pool is just for name sake. Its so small, its a paddle pool. You cant call it a swimming pool!

"Wonderful stay with exceptional staff! I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to Anugraha from the restaurant team – she noticed our baby was refusing to eat and went out of her way to pack food for our little one. I truly appreciate that thoughtful gesture. The room was very scenic, offering beautiful views that made our stay even more special. Every team member we encountered, from housekeeping, restaurant staff and front office, was kind and helpful.

There are some significant downsides. The à la carte dinner menu is expensive, and since there are no nearby restaurants, no option other than to have food from your hotel.. A buffet option for dinner would make things much easier for guests. The rooms are only average in size, and given the overall experience, I feel the price is too high for what you get

Breathtaking views from the bedroom - one of the most amazing spaces I’ve stayed in. Worth a room with a jacuzzi tub with a view. Delicious food in the restaurant and the staff were incredible and couldn’t be more helpful. Hotel itself was very serene and stylish. Wish we could have stayed for longer!

Infinity pool was nice and views were amazing over the river and falls, but limited seating / sun loungers. Spa / massage facilities would be an extra touch when staying in such a serene environment

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sterling Athirappilly. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful — nothing was ever too much trouble. The location is simply stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and close to the beautiful Athirappilly Falls. Waking up to the sound of nature and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere made the whole experience incredibly relaxing. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with great air conditioning and a lovely shower. The food was excellent throughout my stay, with plenty of choice and consistently high quality. Overall, it was an exceptional stay in a beautiful setting. I felt very well looked after and would happily return. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

Things could be clearer in the welcome letter, e.g. the breakfast is a buffet, room service is not only option.

The staff gave us a warm welcome despite our late evening arrival and helped us finish the reservation process quickly. The Chef and team were also very accommodating with our specific dietary requirements. Food was amazing. The view over the Chalakudy river stream was amazing, and the sunrise was absolute bliss to the eyes. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and highly recommend it!"

Large rooms. Got lucky with a complimentary upgrade. Immaculate vibes. Activities are fun too. Food's great. Staff are absolutely brilliant.

It’s a serene spot that feels like a nature lover’s dream. The proximity to the falls and surrounding forest adds to its charm and makes every moment outside the room feel special.  🛏 Accommodation & Comfort Our room was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and offered lovely river views, especially from the balcony. Many guests echo this sentiment, saying the rooms feel fresh and invitation-ready for relaxation.  The modern décor and comfort throughout made our stay very comfortable. 👨‍💼 Staff & Service The staff were consistently friendly and ready to help — from a warm check-in to thoughtful service during meals. Several reviews highlight specific team members who went out of their way to make guests feel welcomed.  That said, there were moments during busy breakfast and dinner hours when service felt a bit stretched, so patience helps.  🍽 Dining The restaurant’s riverside location is delightful, and most meals we tried were flavorful and satisfying. Breakfast offers good variety, though some visitors mentioned that having a few more options — especially for non-veg lovers — could elevate the experience further.  🏊 Amenities & Experiences The rooftop infinity pool overlooking the river provided a wonderful place to unwind, particularly in the mornings or at sunset.  Other amenities like nature walks, bird watching, and relaxing in the lounge helped enhance our stay. ⚠️ Areas for Improvement There were some minor drawbacks: • A few guests noted the check-in process can be slower during busy periods.  • Value for money depends on the room type — river-view or premium rooms clearly deliver more bang for your buck.  • A couple of reviews pointed out that maintenance in some spots could be sharpened.

View from the property is mesmerising and feels like dream. It’s eco friendly resort . Food was delicious with authentic Kerala style way of serving during lunch on a banana leaf. Dinner was also very good

The staff were super cooperative and made our visit even more enjoyable. The place had a great vibe, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking! Had a wonderful experience, and the views were totally insta-worthy. Highly recommend for nature lovers. And I could witness the best best view of Athirapally Waterfalls.

I really liked their warm welcome and hospitality, especially Stebin, Nivaedys, Shevam and Jai helped us with everything. And the rooms are really nice with water falls view, we had a great time there

The location by river was fantastic. The green balcony in the very clean room make a nice tropical feeling. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety off food. A great infinity pool. And thaks to the desk stuff and all the other stuff.

We had to wait along time. Few more chairs by the pool would be nice.

My husband & I stayed at this property for 2 nights, the entire staff, (including all those who were behind the scenes)-- to mention a few whom we interacted with --at the reception Mr Shivam, Miss Jaisel, Mr Pradeep ,Mr Bikram Mr Pramod F & B Manager, Mr Ranjeet (Security) were all very warm, helpful & welcoming. They made our stay really memorable, the room that we stayed in, was very spacious & had a fantastic view of the river with a small balcony.

Such an amazing experience i had at Sterling Athirapally... This is not for advertising purpose am saying this.. What am saying is from my true experience.. Such hospitality and great service we had there.. I was with my family and they really enjoyed there stay at sterling... We will definitely visit again.
