Flora Misty Falls Athirappilly

Had a wonderful stay at Flora Misty Falls, Athirappilly. The location is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views of the lush green mountains. The rooms were comfortable, the ambience was peaceful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!

The only downside was the monkeys around the property, which could be a little disturbing at times. Apart from that, everything was great.

Very clean room. All amenities were top-notch. The staff were super-friendly. Very high quality compared to hotels in the area. The waterfall view from the dining area was spectacular.

Power went out occasionally, but the generator kicked in pretty quickly.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is very good.

Room service was agonisingly slow. The kitchen is located at about 2 levels below the one and only restaurant. And staff has to keep going down to the kitchen to get your order. Thus food becomes cold. Also, number of staff needs to be increased for quicker service. No spa or massage facilities on the property.

Noisy expansion work was done throughout the day. Some bathroom fittings were a loose. Restaurant service was very slow. No other indoor activities except the swimming pool.

Staff friendliness, hotel cleanliness, food quality was all top notch. Everyone was warm and hospitality was amazing.

The swimming pool could be maintained a bit better. We went in July and I thought the pool wasn't as clean as I'd want it to be. However I did see people using the pool. It looked good too. But I didn't want to risk it with and 8yo who wanted to use the pool.

The location, the restaurant the food were all awesome. The property and rooms were very clean and staff well behaved.

The bed sheets had stains in them and could be better, the towels in the swimming pools looked old and didn’t want to use them. There was a smell in the rooms could be better. The manager onsite was unpleasant , while the staff was very accommodating and made the experience good.

Views unmissable - the view of the falls is even better than in the pictures. Rooms very comfortable and stylish, staff super kind and helpful. Food very good.

This was absolutely one of the best stays my family and I have ever had in a hotel. The hotel was amazing, clean, and the view of the falls was spectacular. However, the staff is really what made this stay special. They really went above and beyond to cater to my family and I. When I left, I felt like was leaving friends. The food was incredible and the chef clearly knows how to impress the guests. Don’t think twice about staying here. Book the falls view and enjoy the best comfort you’ve experienced with the team that runs this hotel. Side notes: infinity pool over looking the falls is amazing! 5 minute walk from the hotel to buy the tickets to walk down to the falls. The walk to the top falls view is about 400 meters and there is a pathway. When you get to the falls though the walkway becomes a little down hill. The walk to the bottom of the falls in another 400 meters and is more intense (uneven ground, steep, watch your footing) but definitely worth it. Beautiful views. Die Mitarbeiter sind so unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Sie erfüllen den Gästen wirklich jeden Wunsch. Wenn wir mehr als 10 Punkte geben könnten, würden wir es tun. Zudem ist die Lage mit Blick auf die Wasserfälle von den Zimmern und vom Pool aus super schön. Die Ausstattung des Hotels und der Zimmer ist außergewöhnlich schön, und das Essen einfach nur lecker. Das Hotel hat uns früh morgens zwei Jeep Safaris organisiert, und bei einer der Touren haben wir einen Elefanten gesichtet. Tolles Erlebis.

Baustellen rechts und links vom Hotel. Aber auch hier hat das Personal sofort geholfen, um die Lärmbelästigung so gering wie möglich zu halten. Das Spa wird zur Zeit erstellt, und soll in 3-4 Monaten fertig sein.

For a family room, I felt the size was small. There was no daily housekeeping service. I did ask if the property was wheelchair friendly, although I was told yes I note the pool and the garden could not be directly accessed by the lift. It still had 2 flight of stairs to get down.I note you are getting a fair bit of senior guests and their needs to be accounted for.. Kitchen had a very limited menu and could be improved upon.

Amazing service, breathtaking view, respected privacy, flawless design, diverse and delicious food - everything was at the highest level! One of my best stays considering the effort the service team made. I would like to thank the resident manager, Sajimon Joseph - for an excellent job with the team, communication, and arrangements. Also, I appreciate the great professionalism of restaurant manager Abin Davis. Can’t say thanks enough to the waiters team: Vishnu B (helped with food choices, remembered preferences), Akhil Benny (very friendly and sweet, always willing to help), Adityan (remembers my taste, very open and nice). Many thanks to the chef and kitchen team for delicious meals! (could be very spicy sometimes though) My personal favourites are appam and dosa for breakfasts, fish dishes (Kerala fish has great taste), tender paneer pakora, Kerala paratha with both a thin crisp texture and rich taste; also, the ice cream was really great. The front desk team made my stay really comfortable and enjoyable. Venkat P was very helpful and responsive, I appreciate it a lot. Akhil and Akshia were always sweet. Manoos - the driver - was very kind and eager to help. Summing up, I had a delightful stay in this beautiful hotel, indeed memorable.

There appears to be some issue with electricity in the area - sometimes, randomly, everything could turn off and relaunch within a second; however, sometimes it took a bit more time. They are building a SPA (no SPA facilities are available at the moment) at the bottom area of the territory, so you might hear construction work sometimes, but for me it was not loud or too disturbing. I still found my stay very relaxing and calm. The bottom area is not yet really accessible, where there is a tiny playground for kids and a yard with benches. Hopefully the construction finishes soon and all areas will become available for guests to enjoy.

Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en service gericht. Niet eerder zo meegemaakt. Daarnaast was het eten van zeer hoge kwaliteit. En uiteraard was het uitzicht adembenemend.

Het enige puntje van verbetering is de geluidsisolatie van onze kamer. Deze zat naast de afwas ruimte en dat was soms wel hoorbaar.

The view was peak luxury. The staff were incredible, they were warm and friendly and very helpful. The suite had amazing amenities.

Its quite a distance from Cochin Airport, better to have the property arrange transportation to and fro.

It was truly an awesome experience at Flora Misty. The cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding — everything is maintained so perfectly and neatly. The food was delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Their service is truly extraordinary. Honestly, I would give this property a 10/10. Highly recommended!

The location and staff were amazing. 10/10. We had a very good time. Cannot stress how helpful and accommodating the staff were. We felt very well taken care of to the point that our 3 year old still talks and asks about Abin and the other staff.

Only two issues. Cleanliness was lacking. Floor was quite dirty and despite staff's multiple attempts, it was still blackening our feet. Maybe using water and fresh mops instead of just soap will help. Second is the noise coming into the room from the kitchen when it's being cleaned up at night. Not what one expects in the most expensive suite.

Hotel was lovely and very clean, with a wonderful view of the waterfall. The room and fittings in the bathroom are well maintained and felt new, on top of being very clean. The staff were very attentive and forthcoming with providing any assistance required from even before my arrival. I was arriving late in the evening, and they even offered to take my dinner order over WhatsApp before their restaurant kitchen closed for last orders.

A beautiful hotel offering stunning views and very comfortable rooms. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the cuisine is exceptional with unique and memorable dishes. The property is wonderfully situated, very close to the waterfall, adding to the charm of the stay. An absolute pleasure from start to finish.

We stayed in the Panoramic Suite for two nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was truly a memorable, peaceful, and serene experience from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the top-notch décor and the very warm, welcoming reception. The front desk team handled everything with professionalism and genuine care. The restaurant staff were always smiling and attentive, the cleaning staff were extremely friendly, and every single person we encountered contributed to making our stay exceptionally comfortable and special. A special note of appreciation goes to Mr. Abel, whose patience and dedication in catering to our food requests were outstanding. He ensured everything was delivered exactly as per our requirements. The chef deserves high praise as well as the food was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed trying multiple cuisines over the span of just two days. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary anniversary cake, which was a lovely and thoughtful gesture. The hotel itself is impeccably clean, and the room was classy, luxurious, and beautifully designed. The jacuzzi bubble bath facing the waterfall was a highlight and added to the overall sense of relaxation. We fell in love with the interiors, ambient lighting, extremely comfortable bed, and the lavish, luxe bathroom. Everything we needed was already provided in the room so we truly didn’t have to ask for anything. One gesture that deeply touched us was when a member of the cleaning staff noticed us praying on a rug and proactively brought us prayer mats. That level of attentiveness and thoughtfulness speaks volumes about the service culture of this hotel. Special thanks as well to the manager for his warmth and kindness, which made us feel genuinely welcome. To top it all off, we received a gift from the hotel which was completely unexpected and incredibly special. It is a memory we will cherish for a very long time.

Really great service from the team. Chef was able to tailor our meals. When we had a problem with our bed it was quickly resolved. View from room and dining area was spectacular, fully showing off the falls.

Sounds from reception, including alarm/phone from 4am and also music until 10pm were easily heard from the room. Some sound insulation, or redesign might help.

La colazione era varia con la possibilità di chiedere omelette, uova bollite, etc. cucinate sul momento. Ottimo anche il ristorante. Consigliato.

Beautiful place to stay with direct view of waterfalls from the bedroom balcony! Very clean rooms, courteous and very friendly staff, and the food was excellent. Really enjoyed our one day stay in Flora Misty. The name “Misty” really suits since the sight of mist rolling in makes it feel magical and peaceful. Perfect getaway close to a monsoon forest. Would definitely recommend and would like to visit again.

Wish the high tea had more food options

The view was amazing with the infinity pool. Nice restaurant with amazing view, terrace with the room was super nice and comfortable.

It rained heavily before and there was a bad humidity smell in the room and the cleanliness of the shower could've been better

We stayed here for a night and the experience was amazing. The staff were very friendly and hospitality was great. The rooms and other amenities were well maintained. Particularly to mention about Abin, Noushed, Vishu & Akshaya took great care of us and the food was excellent. Flora Misty is highly recommended and worth a visit.

They don't have a spa

The highlight, without a doubt, is the breathtaking waterfall right on the property. We stayed in a Room with a balcony that offered a front-row seat to the cascade. The constant, soothing roar of the water was the perfect soundtrack to our mornings and evenings.

The property is one of the best we stayed at. The view from the restaurant and the rooms of the waterfall is crazy. The food is exceptionally good. They have a good menu. The rooms are clean and the property itself is clean.
