We had a mostly enjoyable stay at Fortune Resort Kalimpong, which is beautifully located with stunning mountain views and a serene, well-maintained property. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the overall ambiance is perfect for a relaxing family getaway in the hills.

There were some notable issues that affected our experience: • We arrived late at night around 10:30 PM after informing the hotel multiple times in advance, but there was no staff available to help with our luggage. • Since we had pre-paid for the dinner buffet (which closes at 10:30), we requested them to set aside some items and deliver to the room. Despite confirming the order twice, several items were missing and others were replaced without notice. • The next day, while having a Caesar salad, we found a stapler pin inside it. This was extremely concerning, especially as we were travelling with family including an infant and had also ordered baby food. The staff’s response was very casual (“sorry, won’t happen again”) with no proper explanation, investigation, or any form of compensation. We were still charged for the salad.

House keeping staff very good. restaurant staff service very poor. Come to this hotel if you have your own car as to and from to town is extremely costly and very difficult to go on foot. Restaurant staff suraj very rude and highly disrespectful to senior citizen .other waiters are good though.

Hospitality of the staff starting from front desk speciality Tania & her team was awesome. In Restaurant team Sowmadip, and his colleges hospitality is more than home.

If possible to keep some indore games I'm future. In case of rains people can play some TT to spend time & physical fitness.

recently stayed at Fortune Resort Kalimpong and had a truly memorable experience. The location is absolutely breathtaking—nestled in the hills with stunning panoramic views of the mountains, especially Mt. Kanchenjunga. Waking up to that view was a highlight of the trip! The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with modern comforts while still reflecting the charm of the hills. Every detail felt thoughtfully done. The restaurant served a great mix of Indian and continental food, and the breakfast spread was hearty and fresh. I especially enjoyed the local delicacies they included. The resort’s gardens and open areas are perfect for a peaceful walk or just soaking in the beauty of Kalimpong. I’d definitely recommend this place to couples, families, or anyone looking for a calm and luxurious escape in the hills.

However, I was quite disappointed with how my room request was handled. I had specifically booked a view room two months in advance and clearly mentioned this during the reservation process. Despite repeated reminders at the time of check-in and during the stay, I was not provided the view room I had requested. It was frustrating, especially after planning and booking well in advance. While the rest of the stay was comfortable and the staff was generally polite, this issue did put a damper on the experience. I hope the management improves their attention to such requests in the future, especially for guests who book early and communicate clearly.

Clean rooms, good food and courteous staff. Live music during dinner was a highlight. The views from the hotel were also great!

The description provided in Booking.com is not correct. The deluxe room states as extra large double bed which isn't. It's a regular double bed. However, we got it upgraded to premium room which had extra large double bed and was comfortable

It is a very beautiful property. It has a lovely garden and beautiful swimming pool. The staff provides excellent service and the room was great too.

I was not very happy with the food at the restaurant. I had chicken curry but it was undercooked. The staff did their best to make up for this by providing some other veg dishes but I was too tired to enjoy it.

Friendly and caring staff, particularly for super senior citizens like us. All staff members, from the receptionist to the General Manager, were attentive to guest needs.

One of the best places in Kalimpong which offers amazing hospitality, beautiful view of the Kanchenjunga and absolute serenity. Our stay was made even with comfortable by the staff members there. Everyone is very welcoming and warm and helped us achieve the utmost comfort. Special mentions to Pritika, Bhumi, Shubhankar, Rupak, Raju, Suraj, Soumyadeep, Imran and Sukriti who made sure that we had a smile on our faces with the service they provided us with. I would definitely recommend everyone to have a stay here. We celebrated New Year’s Eve there and had one the best times. Everything was very well organised. Loved our time at the hotel. Perfect family gate-away location. 10/10 recommended.

The breakfast was very good. Also the quality of food is well upto the mark.

A very disappointing stay. Would rather recommend Mayfair or Sterling over this property. The hotel is very poorly managed specially when there is higher occupancy . The breakfast is very disappointing, one could have long waiting to get service and the staff lacks adequate training. Management did not take adequate actions for the issues faced. One of the rooms was leaking and an option to change the room was not given up until one day after stay. The hotel initially suggested to get the room swept after every use of the bathroom, later put on a temporary fix and only offered to switch rooms after one night of stay, when the hotel had low occupancy. Would suggest to avoid

Service: The service was significantly below expectations. Despite multiple complaints to the staff regarding the presence of cockroaches in our room, no action was taken. We requested either a change of room or immediate pest control, but for six days, our requests were ignored. It was only after we became visibly frustrated that the staff even acknowledged the issue. The lack of responsiveness was incredibly frustrating and contributed to a very uncomfortable stay. Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the property was far from acceptable. The presence of pests in the room was alarming and indicated poor hygiene and lack of proper maintenance. This is an issue that seriously impacted our overall experience and should be addressed immediately to ensure guest safety and comfort. Treatment of Smaller Groups: We also observed that when a large group reserves the hotel, smaller parties like families or couples are completely overlooked. Our needs were deprioritized, and it felt as if our concerns and requests were insignificant in comparison to the larger group staying at the property. This neglect was disheartening and unprofessional, making our stay even more unpleasant. In summary, the poor service, lack of cleanliness, and biased treatment made this stay deeply unsatisfactory. These issues must be addressed to prevent future guests from encountering a similarly negative experience.

I am sorry to say but I didn't like the breakfast which was not ready that day due to few occupancy but the name of ITC , you all should be ready for all these situations whether there is one guest or more. Moreover it was not value for money as there were no mode of entertainment like other resorts had. We have been there because of ITC name, but unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations.

It is a good hotel with very comfortable rooms and attentive service. A bit out of the centre, it requires a car to move around.

A very basic hotel with average amenities. Even though the hotel has recently opened, the fixtures in the rooms aren't maintained and the staff members aren't competitive enough to take prompt action for the same.

The room and washroom were spotless, and all the public rooms were very well-appointed. Heaters were always available and placed nearby. The food was delicious and nicely presented, The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Very pleased that I stayed with you. Thank you.

Location is top notch with awesome view and there are some improvement areas such as

1 . Bathrooms could have smelt better than a clogging smell which never reduced during our stay despite switching on the exhaust fan 2. Geyser is not great at heating and can’t even cater to the 10 mins shower even after switching on the geyser for more than an hour 3. Food is good but not great when it comes to South Indian food 4. Spa services could have been better but the therapists skills are average (not bad) needs more training on pressure points of muscles. 5. No heaterse provided despite located at the cool location.

Spa was very, very poor. Would recommend to have a look at facilities before booking a spa appointment. Not up to the ITC standard at all
