The view and the huge rooms were amazing.

Everything was great although there was some items like an Iron and iron table were missing. The F&B manager and his subordinate were arguing with about a an extra bill they charged me due to a dispute in their system. The reception staff Upama was very grateful and helped in resolving it. I suggest that the F&B manger and his subordinate go for a training on how to deal with customers. This whole confusion and argument ruined the experience to some degree.

The rooms are huge and there is a touch of heritage everywhere. Chef Sanjeev is very good with non veg specifically with egg delicacies in breakfast

Even if the rooms are empty they denied for early check in.

View from the hotel was exceptional and food at cake shop was good.

The rooms were not well ventilated in the ones we stayed and moreover got the smell of firewood

The whole property was excellent very neat and well maintained and the mandir at right location with evening puja was beautiful

The Mayfair Himalayan Spa Resort in Kalimpong has a dreamy appearance. The bright pink colours, the heritage cottages, the manicured lawn and plants, and the view of the mountain range in front. 1. It is possible to spend many quality hours just sitting at the lawn, sipping on Darjeeling tea and taking in the view of the mountains. 2. The room was huge, and the bathroom too. We had booked for 3 persons and 1 child in one room, so we were provided a cot on request, which was just about comfortable. Since I paid an additional Rs. 10,000/- I was expecting separate bed facilities, but that was not to be. 3. We availed the spa, and it was really great value-for-money and refreshing. 4. Family-friendly pool and variety of indoor games on offer.

1. The breakfast was good, but lacked the indulgence of an usual 5-star property. 2. Food was great to taste, but were a tad too expensive.

They hood out customers from a table, if a customer skipped to add complementary breakfast.

Great place. Every corner and everywhere you turn there's beauty. And it's well planned and curated. They upgraded us to a better bigger room at a decent cost.

This is one of the best properties I stayed in past one year. The staff pampered us and restaurant served delicious food.

The location and view. The property itself is stunning and well maintained. The breakfast was fabulous and the staff in bar and restaurant were so helpful as was the lovely lady in the spa.

My room was below the restaurant and the noise from the restaurant carried on throughout the night. They had to move me to a different room.

Little bit improvement in dinning facilities. Otherwise it's ok.

The room we booked kanchenjunga view had no hot water, it was luke warm , can you imagine ! Its room 627 . My father who is 82 years old got sick because of the cold shower . There is a fault in the hot water plumbing . Even Rs 2000 home stays in kalimpong have hot water .

Accomodation for child, policy is wrong Considering child of 6 years as adults is not justified.

The property location is bang within the town, which makes it convenient for a lazy stroll down the spiralling roads to the market areas in the evenings. The property was very well maintained and the staff were very polite and helpful. The food was good and so was the spa. Since it was our first time there we enjoyed thoroughly. Since we went during the pre monsoon time it was mostly foggy and it made difficult and pointless to venture out to view points where the views would be obscured because of weather. We spent most our time lasting in the property and those occasional walk down to the market and we truly enjoyed.

We stayed in a room with a great view of the mountain range. We were lucky to see the majestic Kanchenjunga from the balcony. We found the hotel room to be spacious, very comfortable, and clean. The hotel grounds were very nice with flowers blooming everywhere. The main restaurant served a wide variety of dishes which were mostly quite tasty. The restaurant staff was very friendly, gracious and attentive which made our dining experience a very enjoyable one.

I was very very disappointed this time with the attitude of the staff and their services. It’s sad but I will never go back.

Beautiful, well maintained property. Exceptional service by everyone right from reception to housekeeping to restaurant team. Room was massive and had all the amenities. Room decor had a heritage vintage vibe. Extremely clean. Food was freshly prepared, delicious. The breakfast buffet spread was amazing. Would definitely come back. .

Nothing to dislike.

This place is truly wonderful. Rooms are huge. Decor excellent. They even had a museum. Gym was nice. Too cold for a swim. Sitting relaxing in the igloo glass house was magical. Peeking through the binoculars at Kalimpong was really eye catching.

Although breakfast was good something was missing. Not quite the standard of a lot of brand name hotels.

The location was excellent. One gets the best view of Kanchenjunga in Kalimpong from the lawns of this hotel.

This resort/hotel is like a oasis of peace in Kalimpong. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is varied and amazing. I had a wonderful massage by Pratima Thapa which I highly recommend. I only stayed one night but wish I could have stayed longer!

We made an request with booking.com to have both roo s and close by, and to put 1 extra bed in each room. We received a reply from Booking.com that this request is fine and it will be done on no extra cost. On arrival hotel didn't knew anything about this request.

My recent stay at this hotel was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly generous, attentive, and eager to assist with anything we needed. The location was perfect, and the facilities were top-notch. Even though we were there for only one night to celebrate our anniversary, it was well worth it. The experience was amazing. The breakfast spread was delicious, accompanied by a stunning view. Overall, it was a memorable stay that exceeded our expectations.

The property is very well maintained. The Kanchenjunga view space is nice and wide. The rooms with the balcony are a bonus for a relaxing and contemplative time.

Everything and everyone was perfect. The resort is beautiful, idyllic, and well maintained. Food was delicious and had a lot of variety. The resort staff goes out of your way your way to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

The tunes that were playing to create the ambiance were 80s and 90s Hindi music. I would have preferred classical music, but I think that’s more of a personal preference.

The location of the facility and the room size was excellent. I loved the food as well including the presentation of meals.

STAFF AT RECEPTION was impolite, rude, liars and cheats. They asked us to pay extra for the kid, which we eventually agreed. But they kept haggling all of my guests at different occasions and cheated one of the families by forcing them to sign for extra payment, despite we agreeing to pay it right before check in. No one was available to answer our query and they kept on evading us. Communication with them was extremely difficult and overall an extremely poor experience. Nearly all of the were incapable of handling guests and had no motivation at all to help us. Very dissatisfied!
