I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding my recent stay at your property. When booking a 5-star hotel, one expects top-notch service, excellent food, and high standards of hygiene. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite—it was the worst experience of my life. Let me explain the issues one by one: 1. Inedible and Spicy In-Room Dining: My wife ordered lunch to our room and explicitly requested the staff to keep it non-spicy as it was also meant for our baby. However, the food delivered was so incredibly spicy that even my wife couldn't take a single bite. To make matters worse, the taste was absolutely zero. I genuinely question the competence and hiring standards of the chefs at your hotel. 2. Complete Cross-Contamination Between Veg and Non-Veg Food: At your restaurant, the vegetarian and non-vegetarian sections were placed right next to each other with no proper segregation. I personally witnessed a guest pick up a spoon meant for a vegetarian dish and use it to serve themselves non-vegetarian food. As strict vegetarians who do not even consume onion and garlic, witnessing this blatant lack of oversight was highly upsetting. 3. Shocking Unhygienic Practices at the Tandoor (The Worst Part): The absolute worst part of our dining experience was at the live tandoor counter. The chef (a gentleman wearing a turban) was preparing both non-vegetarian items and vegetarian rotis in the exact same tandoor. There was no separate tandoor for vegetarian food, and the same person was handling both types of food. To top it off, I watched him taste the gravy directly from his fingers and continue cooking without washing his hands. This is a severe violation of basic food safety and hygiene. Your 5-star rating is a joke. Due to terrible food quality, zero hygiene, severe veg/non-veg contamination, and highly unprofessional staff, I will never visit your hotel again nor recommend it to anyone.

This is among the most expensive hotels in Amritsar however the rooms are not well maintained and smell of moisture. The rooms are not noise proof and you can hear people in the corridor. Bathroom overflowing and bathroom gowns looks like 10 yrs old items. We left only a few hrs later due to this

Only small issue was when it came to the spa. They said we didn't have 20% discount and was like they wanted full amount. But ill put that down to miscommunication

Nice ambiance and location

The bathroom was a little outdated , there was a wedding at the hotel and music was on until early hours of the morning. We had rooms facing the front of the building where the wedding event was being held.

Front desk staff was very pleasant. In particular Amardeep he was extended understanding and helpful. A very pleasant young man.

Travelling long distances from us to Delhi to Amritsar we were exhausted so decided to dine at in house restaurant, it was a great experience, not only a great menu but the service was way above any expectations, Ravi Shanker was a great server made us comfortable, served us incredibly well and made the experience rememberable thank you ravi

I had a truly wonderful experience at the spa in Le Meridien Amritsar. Miss Maya, the Spa Manager, was extremely professional, kind, and attentive throughout my visit. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Her warm personality, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests created such a relaxing atmosphere. She personally ensured that everything was perfectly arranged and that my preferences were taken care of with great care. The treatments were excellent, and her team worked seamlessly under her guidance. Thanks to Miss Maya’s professionalism and thoughtful approach, my spa experience was truly refreshing and memorable. I deeply appreciate her efforts and highly commend her for her exceptional service.

Great rooms, food, and service. Swimming pool is really good as well as the spa. Try the french toast made by Chef Kaur. You’ll love it!

I’ve had the chance to accompany my husband during his visits to Amritsar and I must say the hospitality here is unmatchable. All the staffs from the door men, concierge, kitchen staff, attendees are excellent when it comes to hospitality. A special shoutout to Ravneet who has been so warm and kind from our first Visit. She takes great care of not just us but all who come from near and far. Always the first to greet and smile and gotta give it to her for always remembering faces!

Wonderful stay at le Meridien Amritsar. Spacious room with beautiful interiors. We loved the hospitality of the staff. Florence, Ravi Shankar and Ravi Balotra of the restaurant must be mentioned, along with the restaurant manager Mr. Gupta. They were super courteous, helpful and attentive. The location of the hotel is a bit way from the city centre but they provide complementary trip to the golden temple (twice daily) in hotel vehicles.

First time try this menu named amritsar kulcha in Le meridian amritsar..cooked by chef gurpreet .. came either non spicy or spicy version. crisp and soft leavened Indian bread, which is stuffed with boiled and mashed potatoes and spices. Come with curry gravy and sauce with coriander leaves, make it various taste. Credit to Ravi introduce this menu to me.

A very quiet dainty setting by the airport, about 20mins from the city centre. Shuttle to the city is provided to and fro in the early morning and evening. As elite member, everything seems very personalised. The staffs are all very warm and welcoming. Special mention to Ravi Basotra who gives good amritsari specialty recommendation at breakfast and keep bringing me food and drinks lol. A nice short stay before your flight.

Location is very convenient for the business trip it is near airport , they are also provided the best pick up and drop services as per your convenience. On request they provided the best room , as per my request they gave me 5030 at fifth floor where I can view scenic view with morning sunrise As per the tarrif Le maridian is very economical with great services , really value for money . The room and bathrooms are very clean and organised .... Customer relationship office Ms. Priyanka assist very well for everything ...superb experience:-)
