Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Loved the industrial decor. Room was large and very well equipped. Fabulous toiletries, all made on site. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely welcome with tea. Choice of 2 Japanese style breakfasts and a continental one. Loved the Genko rice option. Close to Park & Castle. Taxi rank opposite. Can’t fault it. Would live to stay again.

The continental breakfast option seemed less rich than the other two options available. The Spa was not complementary which sounds a bit weird for this kind of hotel.

Ti danno un kimono carino “per girare nella struttura”, ma non c’è assolutamente nulla da girare. Diciamo tutto molto curato, ma tanto fumo e poco arrosto

雰囲気は最初だけで消える。 外から車の音が聞こえる、起きた時の天井剥き出しのチープ感から、雰囲気は消え、通常のホテルと変わらない。 通常のホテルと変わらないため、価格に対する満足度は下がる。 チェックインチェックアウト時に、従業員が急に後ろから現れるのは、正直怖い。防犯カメラから見ているのだと思いますが、照明暗くかつ、従業員皆同じ独特の服を着ているので余計に怖い。 以上より、リピートはない。

El hecho de que se escucha permanentemente el pitido del semáforo. No se puede dormir bien sin tapones, es importante que el hotel pida que por la noche bajen el volumen del semáforo de al lado. Esto no es de recibo. Por las noches uno se vuelve loco con ese sonido permanente. Es importante que se pongan unas buenas cortinas que tapen la luz.

Reviewed Jun 12, 2026Look no further if you are looking for a place to stay in Kanazawa. I was hesitant to book since it is not exactly by the station, but it appears to be a good thing. The hotel is really close to the samurai quarter and the castle so exploring main attractions was a breeze. Station is a short taxi ride away from the hotel. Staff is really nice and professional, doing their best to make your stay enjoyable. Room was very clean and spacious.

Room was dimly light, so that I found it hard to read, except in bed. One section of room was lighted only when entered; even if staying there, light turned off too soon. I did not like to make appointment breakfast. Normally I can get breakfast at other hotels in an extended time interval. « Common » area was small, narrow and seating three people.

There was very little light in the room - all the lights are very dim by design, apart from the automatic light by the door which was bright - which was just unnecessary and very frustrating when you’re trying to find things in your suitcase. Our room faced the main road and there was noise from the road that you could hear from our room, the hotel supplied ear plugs. I guess I was sold on how the hotel looked visually but practically it didn’t work very well for us. The lift was very small too for our pram.

It’s fantastically situated in handy walking distance of all Kanazawa’a main attractions. The room was unique & attractive with dry comfortable beds. Nice bathroom. Lovely staff & I had one of the best massages ever.

Reviewed Mar 19, 2026Best hotel we’ve stayed in Japan. It has a large, beautifully appointed room, comfortable bed and was very clean. The location was perfect for seeing all the main sites. Staff were super helpful and attentive. I loved the breakfast most of all and meeting other travellers. The spa and sauna experience on the roof was private and reenergising.
The onsite washing machine took longer to dry our clothes than expected.

Overall a great stay but some details need attention. Little natural light in the bedroom and very dim lighting - they should fit dimmers in the seating area. Also bed platform is a bit of a hazard when going to the bathroom at night as you forget the step down is there. I almost fell twice. Breakfast choice limited and most western people would prefer fruit to a salad with onion at breakfast!

The hotel was exceptionally clean, in a perfect location to visit the gardens and had a nice onsen on the roof. Highly recommend. The staff were also very accommodating of my partner’s nut allergy at breakfast.

Reviewed Feb 13, 2026The Taiwanese style congee breakfast I selected was superb - . The beds are excellent and extremely good. We enjoyed the complimentary local wine and sake on the second floor and also the complimentary coffee. It is close to an excellent luxury mall with nice supermarket below and near by shops, and close by shops. The samurai area is a 5 min walk and the Oyama Shrine is stunnning.
