We like so much a location.Near to the beautiful park, which helps a lot in the hot weather and humidity. Also people at the reception are very nice, helpful.

Posizione eccezionale a Ueno, ma in posizione molto tranquilla rispetto a Okachimachi, ma comunque comodo a tutto, anche naturalmente ad alcune stazioni della metro, vicinissime. La camera che ho preso (ci sono diversi tagli) era molto spaziosa e attrezzata, siamo stati benissimo. Secondo noi ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Alcuni dettagli, non rilevanti: mancava colazione (ma è un problema mio, a me piace farla in albergo), e un po' la mancanza di luce nella stanza (ma dipende dalle stanza e comunque è una caratteristica di tutti i palazzi nelle città).

The rooms are bit small, but it's one of the most popular Tokyo location, so understandable. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. Lobby had a coffee machine and some consumables. Overall a very pleasant stay.

There was a window but it looked onto a brick wall. There’s no cleaning service. You have to bring the garbage downstairs yourself. Also the corridor opened to the street.

Great location. The in room kitchenette had all the utensils and cooking equipment etc you would need and a toaster, microwave and hotplate. Washing machine in the room was great.

4 stools for the table instead of 3 would have been great given the room was for 4 people. We would have loved to have the room vacuumed as we stayed 5 nights. Would be fine without if less nights

Very good location close to shopping, restaurants, several subway stations and Ueno zoo. It is a small apartment but all facilities are available. The staff is very helpful and speaks very good English.

I really enjoyed my stay. The location was perfect, the area is very well-connected, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and a park nearby. The apartment had all the necessary facilities and was super clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful, and it was great to enjoy a morning coffee in the lobby. I would gladly recommend this place to others.

The only minor downside was that during a few days' stay, I really missed a real window and natural light, as the glass in this room category is milky (though it can be opened). To be fair, this information was transparently provided in the room description.

The apartment was neat and tidy, the staff were really friendly and helpful, location was great, walking distance to both Ueno Park and Akihabara. Overall would highly recommend the property!

Un studio bien équipé, très bien placé à proximité du parc et de la gare d’Ueno … un rapport qualité prix intéressant… un personnel à l’accueil convivial et attentionné, qui parle anglais.

Room was relatively roomy for japan standards. Also the reception team was very pleasant.

The fact that the kitchen in the room did not have any basic condiments and everything was only available to rent. (Even basic stuff like salt, oil)

La ubicación

We had a problem in our room but they conveniently organized a transfer to another room which solved the problem. The rooms are well equipped and it was great having a washing machine in the room. The staff speaks English fluently and are very friendly. The beds were comfy and there is a lot of room to store your luggage and stuff. The rooms were a decent size for 2 people. The hotel is located in a quiet area but within walking-distance to Ueno park, restaurants and shopping streets. It is close to airport skyliner station which we ended up walking to (took us about 10 minutes to get there while carrying our luggage).

There is no smoking area in the hotel or nearby which might be a big deal for some people. The lack of housekeeping and change of towels/sheets is a downside. I wish there were more outlets and light switches, it's not convenient getting out of bed every time you want to turn on/off the lights or charge your phone.

Location - close to trains, quiet street, close to nightlife- markets, close to Ueno park. Staff super friendly. Rooms neat & clean.

This is a half-hotel half-apartment style hotel. There is a small and fairly well-equipped kitchen in the room, which was nice and saved us from looking for breakfast outside. The room was larger than most rooms in Tokyo, and in an excellent location near Ueno park and a very lively area of Yushima. The staff is always accessible and speaks English. The soaps in the shower are really high quality!

After traveling all over Japan, the staff's attitude at this hotel felt quite cold and distant to us, despite their good English. It would be better if the round dining table in the middle of the room was lower to match the armchair seating. Drawers or a small cabinet would have been more helpful than the clothes rack.

La chambre était propre et agréable, totalement en ligne avec la description. l'établissement est calme, nous y avons très bien dormi, et très bien situé, près d'une station de métro.

The location was very good…. Close to train station and shops. The staff were so friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Very knowledgeable about the area and ordered a taxi to take us the exact location we needed to be at! Great coffee shop just across the road where we became morning regulars. Having a small kitchen and laundry facilities in the room took the stress out of travelling….

可以洗衣服但是可以曬衣服的地方不多，衣服也不容易乾

房間設備非常齊全（冰箱、烤箱、微波爐、洗衣機） 廚房裡各種餐具、廚具應有盡有，超乎預期！ 廁所洗手台及浴室乾濕分離，有人在洗澡時也可以使用廁所，非常方便！ 附近有便利商店，離地鐵湯島站步行不到5分鐘，離JR御徒町約10分鐘 生日當天經過lobby，工作人員還送小禮物，令人驚喜，真的很貼心！

Appartment has everything you need for a long stay. Location is excellent, very close to metro and short walk to two train stations. Staff was very polite and ready to help.

Everything. A great self contained hotel for a small family that has everything we need. Kitchen, microwave, mini oven, washer/dryer, dining table. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location in Ueno was the best we have found in our Japan trip.

Staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. It was a little noisy from street noise, and be careful about which location you're booking as there are two Ueno locations and we went to the wrong one at first. Easy walking to local attractions and several excellent coffee shops nearby.

Location was great for exploring upper Tokyo. Facilities were clean and comfortable. Loved doing laundry in room.

Beds were a bit hard for my personal taste and pillows not supportive enough (for a middle-aged woman whose body is getting creaky)

It wasn’t fully sound proof

We took an extended stay in Tokyo, and used Section L as our "home base". It's a bit of a trek from Ueno station, but far enough to escape the craziness of the crowds near the park. There is a Family Mart on the corner, andd some excellent restaurants and small bars nearby that are off the beaten path, but worth visiting. The room was comfortably cool, and the beds did the trick, though we rearranged the room a bit to accomodate our needs. The washing machine and mini-kitchen are priceless, and the TV allowed me to sign into streaming for evening movies. The staff is friendly and informative - just a great place overall that came to feel like home away from home for my son and I on spring break.

Like I said, it's a bit of a trek from the JR station, and they should update their linens policy to alllow a change of sheets after 5 days - you can get fresh towels every 3 days, but the beds are what you get - not bad for a shorter stay, but we were on site for 9 days, and would have enjoyed a change in bedding at least once during that time without paying extra.

We really like the apartment-hotel style to this location. Rooms are spacious and filled with great amenities. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Location felt like it was a bit far to the nearest train station mostly because it was snowing and we were traveling with a baby.

Staff is very friendly and English speaking. Some rooms are more compact than others but have everything one needs for daily and longterm living. Room and building are very clean. Tokyo is huge and each area/neighborhood is different but I liked the location of this property, with easy train access and quiet at night.

Staff was personable and AWESOME! Rooms were big and comfortable. Assorted amenities and great location. Free cup of coffee every day and happy hour on Fridays. Highly recommend.

雖然沒早餐，但是地點非常好，附近有超商也有超市。離車站也都是步行可達距離。最喜歡的是房間內有洗衣機跟小廚房，對於冬天旅行來說，衣物的攜帶就不需要太多

基本上都非常好，如果能把沙發床的靠墊搬離開房間就更好了，畢竟能多一點空間還是更好的

Excellent front desk service, convenient location to trains, markets and restaurants. Loved the free coffee, the in room washer and dryer. The soap, shampoo and conditioner were great quality.

The hotel was clean and quiet, and the neighborhood was also very peaceful. The staff were friendly and spoke English well, which made our stay easy and comfortable. The train station was about a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and there were grocery stores and a FamilyMart nearby. It’s a great family hotel. We stayed as two adults with two kids. One of our sons studies at Bunkyo Gakuin University and came to meet us during the day, which is why we chose this location. It was very convenient—close to his university and well connected to major areas like Akihabara, Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ginza. As an American family, this place was perfect for us.

Wish room has little more space, but again it is normal in Japan. No views from room, for us this was not a problem ,but i am sure it might be a deal breaker for someone. No free breakfast. For the price we paid, wish they had free breakfast. However we had kitchen so made out own before we left for the day.

Da ich wusste, dass in Japan die Zimmer sehr sehr klein sind, wollte ich ein bisschen ein größeres Zimmer. Dies hatte ich erhalten und die Ausstattung war mit Küchenzeile einschließlich ausreichend großen Kühlschrank. Das war praktisch. Allerdings war die Temperaturregelung im Zimmer etwas schwierig. (ich war im November da, und da wird es abends etwas kühler) Die Unterkunft liegt zwar etwas abseits, aber in LaufNähe zu einigen U-Bahn-Stationen. Da Tokio eh so groß ist, dass man die öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nehmen muss, war das ganz praktisch. Die Lage war sehr ruhig - eher in Richtung einer Wohngegend, so dass man ein klein bisschen zu belebteren Gegenden laufen musste. Es war aber alles trotzdem noch akzeptabel erreichbar. Vor allen Dingen ist der Ueno Park in der Nähe.

Ich fand das einchecken etwas unpraktisch, da man alles trotz Personal vor Ort an einem iPad machen musste. Man sollte sich auch erkundigen, ob die Rezeption zum Zeitpunkt der Ankunft besetzt ist. Ich fand das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht angemessen. Das Zimmer war wirklich sehr teuer. Was mir gar nicht gefallen hat, dass es keine durchsichtigen Fenster hatte, sondern ein großes Fenster, aber das mit nicht durchsichtigen Glas. Dadurch fühlte man sich ein bisschen eingesperrt. Es gibt wohl zur Straßenseite Fenster mit durchsichtigen Glas aber die meisten Apartment - Zimmer sind nach hinten heraus. Ich finde das hätte man kenntlich machen müssen bei der Buchung.
