Lärmisolation zur Nachbar-Wohnung ist verbesserungsfähig- Im Bett war der Fernseher des Nachbar direkt hörbar. Gemäss Plan ist der Fernseher direkt gegenüber des Bett aufgehängt- könnte optimiert oder aber besser isoliert werden

L’emplacement est parfait, proche du tramway, du bateau, des grands axes routiers de la ville. Il y a largement de quoi boire et manger autour. Le système d’enregistrement est très simple. La décoration est très belle.

Le contact avec le personnel est un peu long, car c’est une entrée autonome donc vous avez juste un numéro whatsapp, qui répond avec quelques heures de décalage, pas très pratique. La chambre est propre, sauf au niveau de la salle de bain. Beaucoup de trace d’eau etc sur le carrelage, les sols etc. Pas top pour une salle de bain.

Great location. Close to good cafes, restaurants, the river.

There is noise from the street every night. Mostly low level from the restaurants below. You are staying right in the heart of a big city so a little noise is expected. There is also the call to prayer at 5am but I imagine you’d hear that wherever you stayed.

The apartment was very spacious and we really enjoyed having a kitchen. The location was superb, not more than five minutes to the Metro or bus stop. There are a number of restaurants nearby and you are very close to the river.

Everything was fine. The management was very responsive although we didn't need much.

The hotel is hidden close to main streets. There is restaurant hub, close to the bridge, marina and Galata Tower. Rooms were clean and spacious. Nice decor. I will be recommending this hotel to my friends for sure.

The room was a very large size and the location was very convenient.

We were stuck in the lift on arrival and no staff were on site to help until the cleaning team reset the lift. Not a big fault but also could have been dangerous. Important to note that the property is next to a mosque and three times a day (one at 4:30am and another at 10:30pm) a prayer plays across the city through speakers. This is by no means an issue, it is just worth noting as the speaker is next to the hotel so it will sound like an alarm in your room at 4:30 in the morning.

This property was absolutely beautiful. Tall ceilings, clean and spacious. You can tell great care was taken to restore it while also adding many modern features and amenities. Büklü Han is also located in a wonderful location and is walkable to great food and shopping. Exceptional communication with the hosts. Highly recommend staying here!

Location and room were excellent. We were prepared for the loud sound of the call to prayer, and although it did wake us up, the room and location were worth that inconvenience.

It is a very cute accommodation with what we felt innovative and modern design. It was well equipped with a large bathroom and above average size shower cabin. Kitchenette had all the basics for eating in if required. The property is particularly well located, a stone throw from Galata bridge, tram stops and taxi station. Perfect location for exploring historical sites. Also plenty of restaurants in all directions. Elif, the host, was super responsive. Note though that everything is done "digitally", there was no physical contact or physical keys to the property.

We found it was good we had earplugs as the sound of an early morning prayer from the next-door Mosque could be a bit disruptive to light sleepers. And we missed having good scissors in the kitchenette.

The location appears fine but we had to cancel and never were able to stay.

We had to late cancel for a 4night stay. And requested a partial refund for the last night. Even though they rebooked the room, they did not consider even 1 night refund. I understand the first night and was fine to compromise in the total, but double booking was not I think fair without some refund.sometimes plans change unexpectedly and I understand covering the hotel loss but then to book the rooms with no refund I felt was not a fair transaction.

Schöne Unterkunft, exakt wie auf den Bildern. Top-Kommunikation, freundlich und schnelle Reaktionszeit. Würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen.

La grandeur de la chambre un vrai atout, l'emplacement de l'hôtel est top, juste a coter des stations de Karaköy et Tünel et du ferry, et aussi le faite de ne pas avoir de carte pour accéder à la chambre (digicode)

Pas de restaurant, en 4 jours nous avons vue personne qui travail dans l'hôtel, personne à la réception (vous recevez un code pour accéder à l'hôtel et à votre chambre) et pendant ces 4 jours personnes n'est venu nettoyer la chambre, vraiment dommage

The surrounding area looks sketchy when you see it for the first time but once inside it’s ok.

Es hätte mehr Wasser im Kühlschrankl sein können, da man das Leitungswasser nicht trinken kann. Das Schlafsofa ist etwas klein bzw. kurz. Zimmer ist für 2 Personen perfekt, für 3 etwas klein.

A nice apartment located in Karakoy, spacious room, comfy bed and couch, nice kitchen, laundry machine, shower with sufficient water pressure, very helpful and responsive staff. As many people mentioned it is next to a cami so you can hear azan, we found their version to be comfortable and creative.

The wall is a little bit thin, you can hear many things.

Stylish, comfortable apartment in a fabulous location. ELife, our contact at the apartment, couldn't have been more helpful. Excellent restaurants nearby, the tram to Sultanahmet is 2 or 3 minute walk. A perfect place to stay in Istanbul.

Third time in Istanbul, so far the best location. Ferry to Uskudar around the corner, tram to Sultanahmet/Besiktas also around the corner. Easy check in/check out, prompt response from the staff regarding any of the questions, clean. Nearby Yeralti Camii (underground mosque) could be a con for some people, however we had no problems to be woke up on some days at 5-6am alongisde with prayers. Otherwise very quiet alley

Mattress could be stiffer, I would also appreciate better pillows but this was more than manageable for 5 nights

We had a spacious and beautiful room. For light sleepers, the nearby mosque might be noticeable, but with the windows closed, you can’t hear anything at all. Elif and her colleague were extremely responsive, friendly, and professional.

There were not enough hangers in the bathroom, but this is a very minor point

L’emplacement et la déco + taille de la chambre sont top. La communication avec Élif est très agréable et très pro. Les commerces autour sont très bien aussi.

Les chambres ne sont pas assez isolées entre elles. On entendait la chambre d’à côté tousser et simplement parler. Ils ont tapé dans le mur quand on regardait un film… Le ménage niveau poussière et douche pourrait être amélioré.

The location was great. You’re super central.

There is no check in, so you rely on messaging if you have a question. The prayers from the mosque wake you up every day at 5am, the windows, although all closed are not aound proof at all.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The atmosphere was wonderful — everything felt very authentic and thoughtfully designed, which made the experience special and memorable. The location, interior, and overall vibe created a very pleasant stay, and we truly appreciated the unique character of the place.

The only small downside was the cleanliness in some hard-to-reach areas. For example, there was quite a bit of dust under the bed, and it seemed like some furniture or objects hadn’t been moved for cleaning in a while. A slightly more thorough cleaning in those spots would make the stay absolutely perfect.

Location and high ceilings. The full size mirror was great. Space is good. General look is nice. Also the street outside is flat and clean. There is a mosque next door. Souvenir shop and cafe down stairs. Easy to reach all public transportation options.

- rooms need a fresh up and restauration. The first glance everything seems good, however, when you look into detail its very old and need work. - we struggled a bit with the alarm of the door as it directly goes on when you try opening the door if you want to check if the door is locked.

Die Lage war top! Wir konnten fast alles zu Fuß besichtigen. Das Apartment war groß und wir hatten viel Platz für den Koffer. Die Decken sind hoch, was den Raum nicht einengend wirken lässt. Das Schlüsselsystem macht Sinn und da alles mit einem Code zugänglich ist, muss man keinen Schlüssel mittragen.

Es ist sehr hellhörig. Man hört die Personen im Gang und auch Musik von draußen. Die Tür des Badezimmers war mühsam zu öffnen und hat stark gequietscht. Das sind jedoch nur kleine Details.

Beautiful walls!! It is very quiet which was a surprise considering the busy location. There is also a super nice restaurant with jazz/blues music next to it. We got drinks in the fridge when we arrived, that was also a plus 😊

Lovely apartment in an excellent location. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was excellent with easy access to trams, buses and ferries. There are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants around including plenty of fish wrap stalls. There are also mini markets close by.

It is right next door to a Mosque so you will hear the call to prayer but we didn't mind, actually we enjoyed hearing the singing. I would also recommend the apartment to provide a dish cloth and tea towel to help in the kitchen.

As there's no staff (it's self check in and check out) there are no left luggage facilities, the lighting in the room is extremely dim so felt a bit depressing, no view from the windows.

Super location: Close to Galata Bridge, which makes it really easy to get to Sultanhamet. A short walk up to Galata Tower as well. And close to lots of bars and restaurants. Great communication with the staff/owners that run the accommodation. Really friendly and helpful. Made the check in process really easy and straightforward. The studio itself was lovely. Spacious and clean. Comfy beds. The fridge and small kitchen were handy for if you wanted to make tea/coffee in the mornings. Overall a great place to stay. Thanks for having us 😃😃

In the bathroom there was a pipe smell, so you better close the door. And also, you can hear everything that is happening in the bathroom, so for a new couple, maybe it's not the best. There's a mosque close to the hotel, so every morning you can hear the call for prayer.

Loved the location, less than 5 minutes from tram T1 that goes to Topkapi and the mosques, or to Kabatas pier for a Bosphorus tour. Less than 10 minutes from the funicular to Galata Tower and from Karaköy pier with ferries to Kadiköy. You also have a few quieter places for coffee around, as well as restaurant Gümrük which plays jazz music. I also loved how the studio was organised and decorated. Contact with Elif was very effective. Cleaning ladies were nice.

Nothing. I read about the prayer call, and it is really loud, but with the windows closed I slept through it. If I didn’t travel alone, I would choose a bigger room than the studio, and if I had stayed more than a few days the same in order to have a washing machine and a workdesk, but for me this was perfect.

However I wish there was at least a contact or staff, I had a check out at 12, but my flight was at 21.30 - I did not know where to leave the luggage or if the luggage would be secure...I left a message on the whatsapp, but the person replied after I had left the premises. This is an important fact for every traveller to know they can leave the luggage secure.

The location of the hotel was nice, and we enjoyed the nearby Gumruk restaurant, and easy access to the waterfront and tram stops. The apartment was well presented, lift was convenient, and check-in process/door code was nice smooth. Bed was comfortable.

It's pretty hard to overcome the 3:30 a.m. Fajr call to prayer every night that goes on for about 15-20 minutes (plus another one around 5:30). Earplugs don't stand a chance against the volume and it creates a total disruption for the night. I should have read the reviews on this more closely before booking, but wasn't anticipating that the loud speaker would be almost directly across the bedroom window. We also found the room itself was quite stuffy and warm, even with the AC on which effectively cooled the living area, but not the bedroom for sleep. As others have mentioned, very creaky floorboards and a too-high toilet, and partially transparent bathroom door that doesn't stay open. As much as the apartment itself is well presented, the noise level would rule out a future stay for us.

Love the heritage of the building and the idea of modern conversion to a hotel. The rooms was spacious and well equipped and great for them to offer free beverages. Locations is great, minutes walk to tourist attractions and tram line.

While I acknowledge it is an older building, the floorboards do creak when walked on, and some sound does travel between floors.

Everything was so easy and simple! Great communication beforehand so it was quick to get into the hotel and room with the detailed email providing the codes. Only issue I would note is some mold growing in the corners of the bathroom near the shower. Otherwise was super clean and such a lovely place to stay! Great location as well! Walking distance to everything fun
