Everything was great

They really were helpful and welcoming. They offered refreshments and helped with transportation to and from the airport. Breakfast was filling and good.

N/A

Всё

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming and always ready to help with anything I needed. I truly felt very well taken care of during my whole stay. The hotel is very well located, the room was extremely clean and comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything made my stay even more enjoyable. I’ve stayed at several hotels in Turkey before, and I can honestly say that this one is by far my favorite. My family often stays here when they travel to Turkey, and after hearing so many good things about it, I decided to try it myself. I’m so happy I did! It was such a great discovery, and I will definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. If you’re hesitating about booking this hotel, I can only recommend it. You can book with your eyes closed! A big thank you to the whole team, and especially to Emir, for your kindness, your help and your warm welcome. Thank you for everything and for making my stay so special. I will definitely come back!

When flying with a layover in Istanbul (IST), I often stay at The Great Airport Hotel & Restaurant. It is a very convenient and cozy hotel for this purpose. You can take advantage of the hotel's comfortable transfer service to get to and from IST airport. To arrange this, you simply need to contact the hotel in advance; they will provide a WhatsApp contact and send you detailed, well-organized transfer instructions. Given that flights can be delayed, the fact that the transfer service accommodates you regardless of delays—with a wait time of only 10–20 minutes—makes this an excellent option. The hotel rooms are comfortable. Upon arrival—usually in the evening and feeling quite exhausted—you want to freshen up, have dinner, and get some sleep; the hotel provides everything needed for this. On previous trips, we would manage to visit a small shop opposite a beautiful mosque (located near the hotel), eat at one of the many local cafes, and then sleep. This summer, however, we were so tired from the flight that we asked the hotel restaurant to bring *chorba* (soup) to our room. The soup was delicious. There are Russian-speaking staff members at the hotel. During previous visits, I met the owner—a very respectable, courteous older gentleman who speaks several languages. On this visit, we were welcomed by the manager, Emir; many thanks to him for the excellent hospitality. A wonderful breakfast awaited us in the morning. I would like to highlight the high quality of the food. Having been a beekeeper myself, I can vouch that the honey served at the hotel is authentic and of exceptional quality—and they are generous with it. Overall, you can sense the staff's caring, hospitable attitude toward guests. I wish the hotel continued well-being and prosperity!

Extremely helpful staff oriented to great customer service. Prompt and simple, very effective. Affordable price. Relatively (!) close to the IST airport.

Too simple breakfast. No any kind of meat or fruits.

Location close to Istanbul airport Quite ...no flight noise Good value for money

None

The hotel is quite close to the airport. The price of room is unbeatable and the breakfast is delicious. Erin was super friendly and pretty much got all our requests done.

They used to provide check-in as early as 7AM, but it is gone now.

Lage ist gut. Personal frendlich

The location is very convenient and close to the airport. Everything was wonderful, and we had a great experience. Emir was extremely helpful, kind, and welcoming.

Personale disponibile, attento e gentile.

Very near from Airport

The service from airport and the staff were very helpful. Vusal contacted me when the flight landed to follow up and help if needed.

The receptionist emir was very helpful with everything, made sure our stay was comfortable and all our needs were met. Good breakfast too with a nice area to sit in. Very good value for money.

Friendly staff, ready to help with any request. Good breakfast. The airport transfer is well-organized.

The hotel is very good, clean, half an hour from the airport by bus, the guys at the night reception are very nice, they wait for you with cold water, they take you to your room, plus they make breakfast to go on request. An important plus, I forgot a tablet in the room, which they recovered.

For the price you're asking, there's not much to complain about, maybe a little smell of cigarette smoke in the room, but that's not the hotel's fault. Of course, I'd happily come back here anytime.

Lobby area was nice with motion censored lights in the hallway to your room. Elevator was a plus.

Room too small for 3 people. Show didn’t work properly. No water pressure and no hot water.

They were very Kind like always

Lovely staff, very communicative, facility great especially for the value of money

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, especially Emir. We forgot to arrange transportation from the airport to the hotel, and he quickly organized everything for us online without any hassle. His prompt assistance made our arrival smooth and stress-free. Thank you for the excellent service!

Rien

Localização próxima do aeroporto. Quarto confortável e bom pequeno almoço. Funcionários simpáticos e disponíveis.

Peace place

Good hotel with best value

Struttura molto accogliente, pulita, camere spaziose.

Great hotel, conveniently located near the airport. For an additional fee, they offer an excellent airport transfer service to and from the airport. Overall, the price for a night’s stay including the transfer is very reasonable. There is also Russian-speaking staff. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended! This is already my second stay here, and I will definitely come back again!

Staff gentilissimo e struttura comoda vicino all’aeroporto. Tutto perfetto.

The Great Airport Hotel Istanbul. The Great Airport Hotel Istanbul,

Emir harika resepsiyon

It’s so close to airport and fits transit travellers quite well. There are local food restaurants near the hotel but not quite value for money. The hotel manager Emir was friendly and super helpful during our stay. We would love to return next time.

Very nice staff beside facilities. I would appreciate Emir for his kind support and help.

Everything fine.

The hotel and my room was exactly as it was described. It was easy to contact to hotel manager Amish, and all the personal was welcoming and helpful. Transfer from the airport and back was very well organized. Thank you!

We had a comfortable stay during our layover in Istanbul. Vusal was a welcoming, patient and helpful receptionist who made sure our group of 11 children and 2 adults was accommodated comfortably. The staff were friendly and Russian-speaking, which was very convenient for us. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The location is also convenient, about 15 minutes from the airport.

Nothing in particular. Everything was fine for our short stay.

Hotel is a great location if you fly in from the airport and don’t fancy going all the way into Istanbul center. The property is simple, clean with helpful staff who are polite and always willing to help with any questions or requests.

Like most places in Istanbul, you will find experience the call to prayer from mosques in the area, so regardless of where you stay in the country be prepared for that, especially if you’re a light sleeper.

Very nice place to stay. Very comfortable and spacious

Emplacement, équipements, propreté et personnel. Super !!

Wszystko świeże i smaczne.

Excellent staff, very customer-oriented. Very good quality/price value, comfortable and well managed.

One USB port (on the left side of bed) was not working. There was no night light anywhere.

Tesisde otelin park yeri ve çalışanların araba bakmalarından memnun kaldım

Beğenmedim birşey yok. Herşey harika fiyat dengesine göre

Vicino all aeroporto. Comodo per una breve sosta. Prima colazione ottima. Stanza grande e pulita

Nulla

Personal muy amable, cama muy cómoda y buena calidad/ precio. Salíamos muy temprano y no íbamos a poder desayunar. Nos prepararon un sándwich para llevarnos.

Nada a decir.

Temiz yer ulasimi kolay kahvalti guzel

Nothing

The Great Airport Hotel was perfect for our 14 hour layover in Istanbul. They provided a car service to and from the airport at a very reasonable price and the staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are quite small and no soundproofing, but adequate for an overnight sleep during a layover. Breakfast options are also limited, but again, as expected for an airport hotel before departure.

Gracias 😊

El desayuno, podrían mejorarlo. Por lo demás está bien.

Çok temiz, çok Uygun fiyata otel, teşekkürler

Bom custo benefício perto do aeroporto IST

A beautiful, stylish, yet affordable hotel. The staff was friendly. The manager, Amish, was very helpful. The room was beautifully clean. The children especially loved the cat who visits the hotel. It was a lovely stay. It's close to the airport—15-20 minutes away. The hotel arranged a taxi. I'll definitely be back next time. I highly recommend it!

Room is decent given the price. I checked in around 5-6am and it was easy to find + get to + smooth. Got a high-up floor and end-of-hallway room Room is clean and modern. Close to a cool mosque. 15 min ride from the airport. Good wifi. Friendly staff. Good English.

Faces a medium sized road so you can hear traffic sounds (I slept well with earbuds) despite windows that look quite soundproof. Room door isn't soundproof so can hear the other guests.

Nothing all ordinary

Nothing all normal

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, kind, and attentive, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with a beautiful view. We liked the room's design and spaciousness. There was a table and a chair, which made it possible to work comfortably if needed, and there was plenty of room to store our luggage without feeling cramped. The bathroom was also spacious and well designed. Another detail that we truly appreciated was that, as we had to leave early and could not have breakfast at the hotel, they kindly prepared sandwiches for us to take away. This thoughtful gesture shows their excellent attention to detail and care for their guests.

The only minor downside is that the hotel is a bit far from restaurants, but overall we had a great experience and would happily stay here again.

The food was good. The room was ok

Super friendly staff!! They were so sweet and offered our teenage girls their own room instead of us all sharing a quadruple.

Food and breakfast was not great but the restaurant is still new.

Great staff. Good communication. Simple but nice breakfast.

Toilet has a bit of smell but nothing tragic

My room was clean, and the bed and linens were spotless. The bathroom was also clean and in good condition. The only downside was that my room faced the main street, so there was some traffic noise. The staff were all helpful, and they arranged an airport taxi for me. Overall, it was an excellent value for the price and a great choice for an overnight airport transit stay.

I can't thank Vusal enough for his outstanding kindness and hospitality. My parents stayed at the hotel for one night, and from the very beginning he made them feel welcome and well taken care of. He went above and beyond by keeping me updated about their arrival and departure, which gave me so much peace of mind. He treated us more like family than guests, assisting me like a brother and making sure I didn't have to worry about my parents. Vusal's professionalism, compassion, and genuine care made all the difference. Staff like him are the reason people return to a hotel. Thank you, Vusal, for your exceptional service and for making my parents' stay such a positive experience.

Outstanding!

Nothing. Everything was amazing

Location is perfect for an overnight stay, eat at the hotel it will be cheaper than the restaurants close by, the restaurants will rip off any westerners. The Hotel does an excellent breakfast the cats with bowties are the perfect concierge, the private transfer the hotel organizes is pn par with ride share prices.

The neighboring eateries are basically crooks, it would have been handy to be told by the hotel staff so I'm telling any potential westerners this is a great hotel run by nice staff but stay away from the local eateries
