CARRA KONAĞI

Отель оправдал ожидания на 100%. Мы были на машине, и главная проблема в Старом Мардине - парковка. Нас встретил Исмаил, заранее скинул на Вотсап точку, забрали багаж в отель и помогли отогнать машину на бесплатную парковку. Мы очень благодарны за это. Для нас в самом отеле главным была своя видовая терраса. Ожидания оправдались на 200%. Все три дня по вечерам сидели с чаем и вином, наслаждались видами на Месопотамию. Впечатления остались самые приятные.

Mardin is erg toeristisch. Mede daardoor geen plek voor je auto, veel lawaai van omliggende restaurants en de prijs is voor Turkije te hoog voor een toch wel basic hotel (90 euro). Ontbijtzaal karakteristiek maar donker en muf.

The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were carefully decorated and notoriously clean. Beds were super comfortable. Every breakfast we had was excellent, truly good and delicious, with enough variety for us to enjoy a great meal to start the day getting to know Mardin. The staff was absolutely amazing. Very polite and kind. The hospitality shown was terrific, offering us tea and coffee at the end of the day on the Hotel's beautiful terrace overlooking Mardin and the plains ahead. Abdul Selam and Ismail were so kind to us and dedicated, they made our visit to Mardin unforgettable and a happy memory.

There was nothing I disliked about the property.

El personal fue muy atento. Si llamas desde el taxi vienen a buscarte y te ayudan a llevar el equipaje en el ultimo tramo donde no entran coches. Nos subieron de categoria y nos dieron una habitacion mas grande, sin coste alguna. La casa tiene una terraza en el tejado con buenas vistas.

No es realmente negativa; la casa es bonita pero mas pequeña que las fotos en Booking sugieren.

Een mooi hotel midden in het oude centrum van Mardin. De bezienswaardigheden zijn op loopafstand. Het hotel heeft authentieke kamers en een groot terras op het dak met mooi uitzicht over de stad. De eigenaar was super gastvrij en behulpzaam. Het hotel was prima voor zo'n klein hotel. Een aanrader voor je verblijf in Mardin!

Wij hebben een heel prettig verblijf gehad in Carra Hotel in Mardin. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is uitstekend. Het ontbijt was inbegrepen en eerlijk gezegd hadden we niet veel verwachtingen, maar het was juist ontzettend lekker en uitgebreid. We hadden zelfs overwogen om ergens anders te ontbijten, maar dat bleek helemaal niet nodig. De ligging van het hotel is perfect. Vrijwel alle bezienswaardigheden zijn op loopafstand, waardoor je de stad gemakkelijk kunt verkennen. Daarnaast mochten we gratis gebruikmaken van de wasmachine, wat een fijne extra service was.

Ismail who welcomed us is amazing. He helped with everything from changing to a better room and supported me during all my trip. The place is amazing, clean and so cool.

Das Frühstück war gut. Wir wurden am Tisch bedient. Die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf Mesopotamien und Mardin war sehr schön. Die Angestellten waren bemüht und freundlich. Die Lage des Hotels und die Umgebung waren wunderbar.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, hell und von der Straße her laut, aber sauber. Der Beginn für das Frühstück war zu spät. 8.30 Uhr, manchmal noch 15 Min. später. Der Wasserzulauf für den Spülkasten der Toilette ging nicht gut.

The staff was great very helpful. Breakfast was good, a typical Turkish one. The facilities were good and clean, the rooms are a bit dated. Everything is in walking distance, but don't forget it's very hilly the city is on a hillside with fantastic views over the Plains. The city is good for two days, then move on.

The cars in the main street, it's an endless chain of cars and it's a one-way street

Lovely house in the old town of Mardin, close to everything, very friendly staff and fantastic breakfast, with lots of organic food. Room was absolutely stunning.

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt von Mardin unterhalb der Burg. Von der Terrasse aus ein überwältigender Ausblick auf Mesopotamien. Alles fußläufig erreichbar. Einen großen Dank an das Personal (Yusuf und Ismail). Beide sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor allem Yusuf, der mir einen "cayli yogurt" gemacht hat. Yusuf "Yolun acik olsun"

Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist muss man durch die engen Gassen in Mardin. Oder man parkt das Auto etwas weiter weg. Aber das Personal hilft einem sehr beim Parken.

Das Personal mit Yusuf, İsmail und Zeyn waren hervorragend. Als Vielreisender habe ich so ein nettes, freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal selten gesehen! Das Frühstück war mega! Unser Unterkunft war sehr zentral gelegen. Unser Zimmer war etwas klein, aber gemütlich.

Wir sind mit eigenem Fahrzeug angereisr. Das Parken vor dem Hotel ist nicht möglich, weil die Gassen sehr eng sind. Zum Parken gab es 300 m vom Hotel entfernt ein Parkhaus.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mardin ziyaretimizde 3 arkadaş olarak Carra Konağı'nda konakladık ve harika bir deneyim yaşadık. Otelin eşsiz manzarası, tarihi atmosferi ve özellikle terasında Mardin'i seyrederek yaptığımız kahvaltı unutulmazdı. Başta Yusuf Bey olmak üzere tüm ekibe teşekkür ederiz. Yusuf Bey'in özenle hazırladığı kahve hem lezzeti hem de sunumuyla çok güzeldi. İsmail Bey'in samimiyeti, ilgisi ve keyifli sohbeti ise kendimizi bir otelde değil de evimizde misafir olmuş gibi hissetmemizi sağladı. Güler yüzlü hizmeti, huzurlu ortamı ve muhteşem Mardin manzarasıyla Carra Konağı'nı gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye ediyoruz. Tekrar Mardin'e geldiğimizde tercih edeceğimiz ilk adres olacak. Personnel très gentil. Ils sont venus nous chercher à l’arrêt de la navette aeroport et nous ont raccompagnés. Bon petit déjeuner . Chambres agréables et bon lits .

Очень удобное месторасположение недалеко от главной улицы. Сервисный персонал. Исмаил - очень помогал в вопросах такси. Заселил нас раньше положенного времени, а потом переселил нас в более просторный номер. Откликался на все просьбы и старался сделать наш отдых максимально комфортным. Классные турецкие завтраки. Интерьер аутентичный, в духе города. Есть терраса с потрясающим видом. Классный кондиционер, который справлялся с сильной жарой.

Небольшие проблемы с сантехникой, но это не критично.

Śniadanie było bardzo dobre , podawane na tarasie z widokiem na równinę . Lokalizacja doskonała . Taksówka podjeżdżała pod hotel , blisko do wszystkich atrakcji miasta . To jest bardzo ważne , gdyż do wielu innych hoteli trzeba iść dość wysoko , po stromych schodach. Czysto . Personel uprzejmy i pomocny . Kiedy przychodziliśmy do hotelu po zwiedzaniu miasta , proponowano nam kawę lub herbatę .

Byłoby dobrze postawić parasole przeciwsłoneczne na tarasie śniadaniowym . Podczas śniadania słońce grzało za mocno . Może to wynika z mojej szczególnej wrażliwości na słońce .

When traveling through Turkey, first you like are people. The same is here at Carra Conaği. They are fun and helpful. But Carra has more -- the building is very charming in the middle of the old city Mardin. Interior is authentic and unique. Having breakfast or tee at the terrace is breathtaking. Breakfast was amazing. Pure joy.

Since this is authentic old building, one may feel there is not enough space in the corridors, rooms and other spaces. The room we had doesn't have a window with sky view, but wouldn't consider this as a real disadvantage.

Carra Konagi is in a great location in the centre of the old town, in a back street five minutes walk from Cumhuriyet Square. The host Ismail is very hospitable and will do all he can to make you comfortable. Our large double room (Mir 301) was exceptional with three arched windows, the end one looking out over the plain. There was a comfy cushioned area on the floor. It’s worth paying extra for a deluxe room, the other rooms are quite small and cramped. There’s a rooftop terrace with great views - superb for a beer in the evening. And breakfast is delicious with a huge variety of dishes, many home made. Really delicious.

Nothing to dislike, except the deluxe rooms are substantially better.

Located in the center of old town, beautiful view from the terrace. Amazing Turkish breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the Mesopotamian plains is an exceptional experience. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The smell of humidity from the walls in some rooms and the smell of sewage from the bathroom in other. One of the three rooms we had was small and dark.

Staff didn't share complicated parking details until we were caught in terrible traffic in town. It took over an hour to locate the car park. Also no hot water.

Very ancient historical konak, location is perfect, just 2-3 minutes to the general street, very warm, helpful staff especially Ismail, he show us all the places nearby, help with shopping with the reasonable price and was very kind and friendly. Highly recommend this place to stay.

We didn't like that the staff didn't speak English. They speak Turkish and if you don't have Google Translate, it's hard to understand.

Mega Frühstück und super netter Gastgeber. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut, alles schnell erreichbar. Wenn man nach Mardin kommt, sollte man allerdings auf Treppensteigen gefasst sein. Die Stadt liegt am Berg und dementsprechend fit sollte man sein, wenn man die tolle Aussicht auf Mesopotamien genießen möchte.

Es gab leider kein Live TV. Aber kein Problem für uns.

Das Carra Hotel punktet mit seiner unschlagbaren Lage und einem super Personal, das wirklich herzlich und hilfsbereit ist. Man fühlt sich hier menschlich sehr gut aufgehoben.

Allerdings gibt es bei der Hygiene und beim Frühstück noch deutliches Verbesserungspotenzial, um dem schönen Ambiente des Hauses wirklich gerecht zu werden

Wir waren Ende März 2026 im Carra Konağı in Mardin. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem typisch historischen Steinhaus mit sehr schönen und authentischen Zimmern. Aufgrund der Jahreszeit war es jedoch recht kühl und durch die Feuchtigkeit teilweise etwas muffig. Trotzdem haben wir uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Personal war durchweg aufmerksam, höflich und hilfsbereit. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Ismail, der uns vom Finden eines Parkplatzes bis hin zur Auswahl von Restaurants stets engagiert und motiviert unterstützt hat. Das Frühstück war erstklassig und sehr vielfältig. Leider konnten wir es wetterbedingt nicht auf der Dachterrasse genießen, was bei besserem Wetter sicherlich ein besonderes Highlight mit toller Aussicht gewesen wäre.

Das Carra Hotel war ideal gelegen, um Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es war makellos sauber und unsere beiden Zimmer waren geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Betten waren unglaublich bequem und es gab sogar Möglichkeiten zum Beten. Das reichhaltige und köstliche Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen, und Tee und Brotkorb wurden stets aufgefüllt. Das WLAN funktionierte einwandfrei. Leider hat es während unseres Aufenthalts viel geregnet, sodass wir die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse nicht genießen konnten. Trotz der engen Straße begleiteten uns die freundlichen Angestellten zum Hotel und wir durften sogar direkt vor dem Hotel parken, was wir sehr zu schätzen wussten. Nach dem Auschecken durften wir unser Auto noch vor dem Hotel stehen lassen und wurden später, als wir es abholten, noch zu einem türkischen Mokka Kaffee eingeladen. Vielen Dank nochmal für den außergewöhnlichen Service!

Durch einen Stromausfall in der Stadt fiel leider die Warmwasserversorgung der Therme aus. Wir bemerkten dies erst später, doch das Personal konnte das Problem schnell und unkompliziert beheben.

Расположение отеля идеальное, до основных достопримечательностей можно дойти пешком. К самому отелю на машине не подъедешь, так как находится в старом городе, но сотрудники помогают встретить и проводить с чемоданами до основной улицы. Сама комната была просторной, завтрак тоже был сытный в традиционном турецком стиле. Сотрудники помогали во всех необходимых вопросах, подсказывали и показывали красивые локации.

В момент заселения не оказалось горячей воды, но после некоторых махинаций со стороны сотрудников, ситуация была исправлена.

Their kindness and genuine care made every moment feel special. ​The hotel itself is a masterpiece of traditional stone architecture, offering a peaceful and authentic atmosphere that perfectly captures the magic of Mardin. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, but it is the people like Ismail, Esra, and Zain who turn a great stay into a heartwarming memory. I can't wait to return sometime in the future.

Posizione perfetta per girare le principali attrazioni di Mardin. Camera pulita e con tutto il confort necessario. Tutte le mattine viene servita la tipica colazione turca davvero abbondante. Il personale è sempre presente e gentile, giorno e notte. İsmail renderà il vostro soggiorno davvero piacevole con i suoi Çay e la sua simpatia.

Отличное месторасположение! Заботливый, душевный и внимательный персонал. Уютный номер, в котором было все (в тч чай/кофе и бокалы для вина :) Отличный душ как и вся сантехника, удобная кровать. Теплый номер. Завтрак стандартный турецкий (очень вкусные зеленые оливки). Закат встретили на террасе с видом на Мессопотамию. Все было прекрасно. Спасибо еще раз.

Das Hotel ist historisch, rustikal und schön, mit großen und komfortablen Zimmern und den traditionellen Elementen in der Einrichtung. Die Terrasse bietet einen exquisiten Blick auf die Mesopotamien und mein Zimmer hatte einen kleinen Teil des gleichen Ausblicks. Das Frühstück war frisch und mit reichem Auswahl an regionalen Spezialitäten. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich! Besonderes Dank an Ismail. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und gut erreichbar von Geschäften, Restaurants und historischen Stätten. Ich war sehr zufrieden und werde ohne Zweifel wieder in dasselbe Hotel zurückkehren!

Мы были в марте и вода из крана в номере нагревалась очень медленно. Возможно, в теплые месяцы такой проблемы не будет.
