Het hotel is nieuw heel erg schoon met vriendelijk personeel. Het is geen cave hotel maar de uitstraling en sfeer is vergelijkbaar. De kamers zijn ruim en hoog met ramen en leuke tuin. Mocht cave hotel door lage plafond en dichtheid geen optie zijn is dit hotel een goed alternatief.

In de directe omgeving van hotel is er niets. Je moet wel minimaal 2 minuten rijden om bij winkels zoals supermarkten te komen. Centrum is 5 minuten rijden.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally complain about our recent stay at your hotel, which was booked as a special trip to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday. This was intended to be a memorable and enjoyable occasion, and I spent a significant amount of money based on the facilities, services, and overall experience that were advertised. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different and the experience was deeply disappointing from start to finish. Throughout our stay, we encountered numerous issues and repeatedly attempted to raise our concerns with management. We sent several emails and made multiple requests to speak with the hotel manager, yet our attempts were ignored. Despite seeing the manager around the hotel every day, he never introduced himself, approached us, or made any effort whatsoever to discuss our concerns. It was only on the day of our departure that we finally discovered who he was. By that point, no action had been taken to address the issues we had raised and no meaningful customer service had been provided. The standard of customer service throughout our stay was unacceptable. As paying guests, we expected concerns to be acknowledged and addressed. Instead, we were completely ignored. More concerning was the fact that several of the facilities and services advertised at the time of booking were either unavailable, not operating, or provided at a significantly reduced standard. The advertised buffet and continental breakfast was not available during our stay. We were informed that this was due to low occupancy levels within the hotel. Frankly, this is not an acceptable excuse. Guests pay for the facilities and services that are advertised and included in their booking. Whether the hotel is full or almost empty is not the customer’s responsibility. If the hotel cannot provide the advertised services due to low occupancy, this should be clearly disclosed before guests make a booking.

Franchement, une honte absolue pour un soi-disant hôtel 5 étoiles. On a choisi cet établissement uniquement pour profiter du spa car le temps était très mauvais, mais surprise le sauna et le hamman ne fonctionnais pas malgrès nos demandes repetés de mettre en route les équipements (le spa ouvre à 10h il était 13h ) et la piscine avec jacuzzi à peine tiède. On a attendu 2h que quelqu'un prenne en compte nos demandes et malgrès un passage du technicien rien n'a fonctioné, on a fini par abandonné et partir. C’est une expérience catastrophique du début à la fin. Le service client est tout simplement inexistant. Aucune considération pour les clients, aucune écoute, rien. Le pire reste le chef de réception, d’un mépris hallucinant. On a beau expliquer calmement le problème, il n’en a strictement rien à faire. Zéro empathie, zéro solution, même pas l’ombre d’un geste commercial pour compenser. On a vraiment l’impression de déranger. C’est inadmissible à ce niveau de standing. On paie un prix premium pour un service qui est en réalité pire qu’un hôtel bas de gamme. Si vous cherchez un endroit où vous détendre et être bien traité, fuyez. Cet hôtel n’a clairement rien d’un 5 étoiles, à part le prix.

In hotel , con buenas instalaciones, mi pieza era cómoda, grande , con terraza y una vista muy linda. El spa muy bueno. El gerente del hotel muy agradable y preocupado con una excelente atención al cliente.

Exceptionally clean, rooms all natural stone, floors, bathroom, bright, large patio doors. They have thought of everything, restaurant, garden, open areas, spa all very well designed. Very comfortable 5 star facility. About the staff, they made us feel special, what more can I say. In particular, want to name Merve (Guest Relations) and the very patient Bekir (Bell Boy). Hotel is located on top of hill with beautiful vistas of the surrounding countryside. Hotel has its own lively restaurant and bar. Hotel can be a destination in itself.

The property is a little away from town center, short taxi ride away. For those who need to have late nights in a bar or restaurant downtown, need a ride. We dined in the hotel restaurant, was good enough for us, after a full day of activities.

Если совсем придираться: - слышимость в номерах (шум из коридора) видимо из за атриумов - хорошо было бы продумать полы с подогревом, так как полы каменные.

Its a new, modern hotel which is so tastefully decorated. Open, airy with fantastic views of the mountains. Staff are very helpful, particularly their concierge.

It is quite isolated and with no onsite shop, it can be tricky if you need anything. The airport shuttle they arrange for you is a complete rip off. €45 for what others are charging TLR 400,for exactly the same service. Most of their staff are not very fluent in English so it was hard to communicate. Spa isn't value for money. While charging a good amount, service isn't up to it.

Было 1 момент , который хорошо было бы улучшить. Это отсутствие воды в спа зоне, обычно можно налить в стаканчик воды и восполнить водяной баланс после процедур, тут же это опция отсутствовала.

Sehr neues modernes Hotel, schöne saubere Zimmer. Toller gepflegter Wellnessbereich und gutes Frühstück. Die Lage ist für Aktivitäten in Kapadokien etwas außerhalb und man benötigt für alles ein Taxi! Dafür aber gutes Preis Leistubgsverhältnis da Unterkünfte in gleichen Standart in den Zentren von Göreme oder Ürgüp schnell 500-1000 Euro pro Nacht kosten

Wenn man etwas kritisieren möchte, dann vermutlich die Lage. Dort ist der Hund begraben…

Cet hôtel vaut le détour. Beaucoup plus confortable que les hôtels troglodytiques Nous nous sommes vraiment reposés. Tout était parfait La literie est super confortable. Ils proposent 4 sortes de coussins (plumes, mémoire de forme,...) Le spa était très agréable Le petit déjeuner était incroyable, le meilleur qu'on ait eu en Cappadoce

Abbiamo soggiornato qui 4 giorni per visitare la Cappadocia. La struttura è tipica di un resort, dotata di: spa (sauna, bagno turco, piscina, massaggi), ristorante, palestra e sala giochi. Ottima posizione per il panorama mozzafiato, soprattutto per cene con vista tramonto sulla vallata. Personale gentilissimo e sempre disponibile. Il ristorante dell'hotel non ha un menù esageratamente vario ma risponde a tutte le esigenze ad un prezzo a dir poco conveniente. Consigliatissimo per godersi al meglio la Cappadocia

La posizione è un pochino più distante dai centri di interesse ma comunque facilmente raggiungibile in taxi.

Alta calidad de todo que hay en el hotel. Muy bien situado a las afueras del pueblo pero cerca. Preciosas vistas. Espectaculares vistas de los globos ( a lo lejos). El mejor hotel en nuestro viaje por Turquía. De verdad es un 5 estrellas.

Estamos esperando la devolución del viaje en globo que nos reservaron desde el hotel. Pero seguro que lo consiguen retornar pronto.

Il servizio del ristorante, che non è ancora all’altezza del livello 5 stelle del resto dell’hotel. Ma è semplicemente una critica costruttiva. Il cibo a ogni modo è molto buono e tradizionale!

PROS: Beautiful hotel with excellent customer service and spectacular views of Cappadocia. Concierge was wonderful in helping us book our tours/ excursions. Hamaam and spa services were excellent.Everyone was helpful and friendly in helping us get taxis, make dinner reservations and provide items / room service for our room. Complimentary coffee in the rooms was nice although we did not have any milk/ creamer for our coffee.

CRITIQUES: Food at the restaurant could have been better ( not seasoned/ spicy enough and often ran out of items on their menu) although the free daily breakfast buffet was a nice spread. The bidet in the toilet was also lackluster ( it did not have enough pressure) and the rooms were small with not enough storage space. The hotel itself would benefit from having a store on the premises for essential items/ snacks etc. Loved the swinging hammock chairs outside and wish there were more. Overall, my family and I had an amazing time at Alden Hotel and would highly recommend it for your next getaway in Turkey.

A second restaurant would be good and a kids menu There was constantly loud music playing and on the weekend it went really late. Lacked some atmosphere at the pool, could have a bar and nicer to sit and have a drink and some food No outdoor pool and the indoor pool was cold, needs a little heating My son split a drink on the bed so I stripped it and asked them to send cleaners with replacement bedding. They just sent a guy with one sheet. I left it for the night and expected when the cleaners came the next day they would replace it all. They didn't put a new doona cover on. It took two days to get it sorted.

The air-conditioning wasn't working, the breakfast options we limited, cleaning seems to only be done if requested and this isn't really communicated to you on arrival. No one is manning their emails or bookings.com messages

Where it’s located shows you a nice 360 view as you are higher up and still walking distance from urgup town centre.

Very modern with a classic twist

Room was clean, view was great, staff was professional, breakfast buffet was wholesome, and gym/pool was great. It’s just a little far from the central area or tourist attractions, but worth the price.

A little far from tourist spots and dinner was a bit expensive for a solo traveler.

More options of food at the breakfast (pancakes, omelets). They should hang some hooks for towels and bathrobes near the sauna and hammam rooms. Were surprised that some facilities (for example, to light a fire in the garden area - were for extra money. In other hotels it is for free)

Merve's dedication and creativity turned a vision into reality. Thank you Merve! This was an amazing experience that we will cherish forever, and we would love to return again insha’Allah. Otel oldukça konforlu ve temizdi. Mimarisine büyük bir özen gösterildiği her detayda hissediliyordu. Güvenlik konusunda da hassasiyetle düşünülmüş; özellikle yangına müdahale dolaplarının dikkatlice yerleştirilmiş olması güven vericiydi. Spa bölümü aileler için son derece uygun ve keyifliydi. Nice new property in Urgup. Overall the hotel was clean, new and kept up very well. Although we didn't make full use of the facilities during our stay, I did have a look around and observed excellent gym, pool and spa facilities. There is also a dedicated yoga room and karaoke room for use by the visitors. The staff at the hotel were great. The check-in process was smooth and they accommodated our early check-in and late check-out requests without any extra charge. They are also knowledgeable about local tour and transport options in the area, which was helpful as this was our first visit to the area. Food-wise, the menu offers a good selection of food from various cuisines. The breakfast is also excellent, offering a platter of cheese, fruits and pastries, on top of a select choice of eggs and sausages etc. as additional cooked options. The rooms are new and clean. We stayed in the Premier Room with Cappadocia view and can say that it is worth it.

Location wise, it is a bit further away from the main attractions of Cappadocia, which are mostly located in and around the Goreme area (20 min car ride away). This didn't bother us too much though as most tours we booked offered pick-up services from the hotel. Unlike most of the properties in Goreme, this hotel is located a bit further away from the town of Urgup, which meant that the only way to reach the town and alternative dining options is to take a taxi to/from the hotel. As long as you are comfortable with doing that, there are no other downsides to this property.

Konaklamamız boyunca otel personelinin misafirperverliği çok güzeldi. Her konuda güler yüzlüydüler. Tek sorunumuz odamızın -1. Katta olmasıydı. Rezervasyon sırasında da bu bilgi bizimle, Hotels.com ya da Alden Hotel tarafından paylaşılmadı. Paylaşılsaydı ona göre tercihimizi değiştirebilirdik. 29 Ekim haftası gittiğimiz için yoğunluktan oda değişikliği yapılamadı. Check out sırasında durumu belirttik ve resepsiyondaki arkadaşlar bir sonraki konaklamamız da üst katlardan oda verileceği notunu düştüler. Bunun dışında herşey çok güzeldi. Kesinlikle tekrar gitmeyi düşünüyoruz.

Excellent, pristine facilities - very beautiful grounds and also very new. the space was inspiring and I felt very lucky to be staying there

Most of the staff are excellent but some were lacking the attentiveness I'd expect at a 5 star hotel. have provided the feedback directly and this was well received which is good. Restaurant food was ok (convenient) but can probably get much better in the main town. You also will need to do a tour/get a taxi to see hot air balloons up close - this was something I hadn't realised, so worth noting. overall I did still enjoy my stay

absolutely stunning, worth every penny!

We prefered a new and bigger hotel as opposed to a cave hotel in Cappadocia. The only downside is that the hotel is not very close to the main touristic attractions, but a car is needed in any case. Room, breakfast and gym/spa facilities were all amazing and the service was very attentive and professional. Highly recommend!

An excellent hotel overall. A very nice room from quality of bed/mattress to Molton Brown toiletries. A very nice spa with a super relaxing pool. Excellent breakfast with great variety of classic warm dishes on demand. Excellent behavior of the staff and the extremely friendly director.

Bathtubs in the rooms are a bit slippery. They need handles to be added. The indoor pool could be a bit bigger and the wellness services would reach 10/10 if there was an outdoor pool, too. Clients cannot switch on/off the jacuzzi, you need to ask the spa reception to do it for you.1

Alden Hotel in Cappadocia is a gem! The blend of traditional charm and modern comfort, along with breathtaking views, made my stay unforgettable. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the hot air balloons. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making sure every detail was perfect. Highly recommended!

Great hotel, location is a bit out of town but easy to get taxis . The perk of the location is waking up to fantastic views of Cappadocia and balloons in the skies

The air conditioning was not working. Which when it's 40 degrees outside was not ideal. The engineer would come to fix it and insist it was working even though the display showed a totally different temperature and it was boiling, so after the first couple of times we gave up. They offered to change the room on the last night which was pointless since we were leaving early in the morning the next day.
